Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

The fact that I apparently knew what a Greek accent was before hearing one is sending me
Great knowledge for the SS AU lol

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Other things about Death Note that I appreciate

Light at first lets loose the implication that he has access to police info as a way to drive a wedge between L and the police force. He reasons that it's human nature to not trust someone who is suspecting you but at the same time, is not as vulnerable as you are (e.g. working on the same case as you but refusing to show his true face or reveal his true name). He's right in the large scheme of things, but in the end, the other members of the Kira Task Force never, ever lower their belief toward L. Why? Because of their sense of justice.
Also both L and X Kira being murder hobos. Light really had to just let Raye Penber tail him a few more days and then he'd be off the hook. I mean, L would probably catch on anyways, but he killed Penber anyway because his first solution was to get rid of whomever might get in the way. Instead, he gave L a solid clue (or two)  Basically I really like that from the beginning, Light never made actual allies. Everyone was either someone who could help him (a tool) or an obstacle, and so even if he had won against Near, he wouldn't have had a single ally at some point. Thus, he was truly doomed from the beginning.

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Also my favorite part of the anime is the ED at the end :-P
the voice is nostalgic, y'know why? 'Cause I literally just searched it up and it's the same musical artist as Claymore's OP HAHA keeping up the trend of all the series I watch being connected to some musical reason

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

I remember that the level was pretty hard (for a beginner) though lol. I redid it a bunch of times.
I even remembered the tile placement a year later.

E2ed Lessing and Hoederer btw.
E2ing is a lot of work, but it's gonna be so worth it one of these days (Hoederer's S3 has a really long duration, guessing it's perfect for fighting bosses and getting rid of anyone else trying to get in the way)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Looking at HS-EX-2, I was definitely smarter back then.
Bruh I was using the farmland tiles as a buffer against mice and nuking them with Pinecone and Cutter. The heck am I doing now???

Arknights' Season 3 ED is destroying me (I'm far enough in main story to be able to watch the trailer)
When the complete version comes out...man.

Arknights after Death Note I swear. (anime-wise)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

The thought of Adam being forced to be the Easter bunny of Sanctuary is sending me.
Everyone is like "you've been a fish, you've been...a charioteer, and a sea goat. You can be anything we you want! Here's a bunny costume" and then bro has to stuff chocolate into eggs so the children can find them.

Imagine the other Gold Saints are trying to figure out who the Easter bunny is and they forget Capricorn every time they go through the list lmiao  (throwing a bomb at Adam)
(They figured out that it has to be one of the Gold Saints because there are eggs hidden in the Temples where the Silver and Bronze Saints can't get to for any other occasion)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

I think the funniest thing about drawing Galaxian is every time I get to the shoes, because I try to add laces and he's like "no" and then I have to draw shoes with laces that cannot be messed up.
He doesn't like velcro though (he doesn't like the noise) so like, what am I supposed to do.

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

More Death Note stuff

Throughout the entirety of the series, I'm actually the most emotional about Raye Penber and Naomi Misora.
The reason kinda is related to my own perception of them, so not totally accurate but also...not necessarily inaccurate? Basically, even though ik the fandom tends to see him as being sexist, I keep on not really focusing on that point because subtle misogyny is sprinkled throughout the series, so that's less his character and more just...the fact that he's written by whom he is. Other than that, what I see is an extremely naive man who will show some random teenager who he's tailing his ID, only to do nothing to help in the (already dictated) situation. And then he hecking dies and takes all his colleagues with him.
There's also the fact that in the anime (I forgot who else was on the bus in the manga), everyone else on the bus is a pair (the old couple, younger couple, and Light and his pretend girlfriend), while Raye is just there. I think maybe that was intentional to foreshadow Naomi
And Naomi...I don't think I even have to comment about her. Hecking nerfed for the plot and with the coolest hecking design. People say that her death is the point where Light goes beyond redemption, and while I disagree with that, it is a really good "oh SCREW you" moment. Raye and her deserved so much better. Both of 'em should have retired.

Also thinking about how Kiritsugu and Light are kinda similar on the surface level. And they're both kinda pathetic.
I must say though, there's something very intriguing to me about their differences as well. Light's ideology comes from his privileged upbringing and his father being a policeman, in the midst of a world that he otherwise perceives as being rotten. Kiritsugu, meanwhile, has always interested me because it feels like his ideals were innate to him. His father is a typical mage who cares about no one really other than his own studies, his son, and maybe his wife (who got killed by the Magus Association), but Kiritsugu is pretty much the polar opposite--someone who sacrifices all the individuals he cares for for the sake of the greater world.
So basically, I wonder what Kiritsugu would do with the Death Note (I think he'd destroy it, he's good enough at killing people without it)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

I wanna make it clear beforehand that I am not normal at all over Yu despite only having seen him in trailers
If I get him, I lose it. Like...just so you guys know. He is so cute and wholesome.

There's just something about the youngest sibling waiting for his older siblings to settle their feuds and finally be able to reunite at the same dinner table.
I also love Shu. Though, I'm still not the best at using her (still just use her for healing most of the time and very basic teleporting)...I think it'd be fitting for the farmer and cook siblings to be together at least. They do give me very similar vibes
(open to being spooked by any of the other siblings, if they're on rate-up at the same time, but they're all limited lol)
