so what happened was

we had a telekinetic rogue who grabbed the djinns bottle from a stand behind it. the dm had said the only way to kill it was to either trap it in its bottle and smash the bottle or just kill it. The fighter(moi) went to smack the djinn into the bottle now that it was moved. I go to roll

The djinn got smacked into its bottle and I also broke the bottle, but that part was because if it had just gone in the bottle we would have gotten the wish spell

How creative of you guys. I was wondering though 2 things:

1. Was the bottle just made of porcelain and on a table or smth? Could the rogue just drop it to break it then? Just wondering. No matter how you did it, it was basically free xp and that's nice.
2. Do you remember what type of role you had to make to smack that dijinn?

A wish? That's kinda busted, assuming you guys are around lvl 11. Did you have any wishes in mind?

Breaking the bottle without the genie in it wouldn’t have done much, I don’t think. It was either hit dc or a strength check

Well shortly afterward, we picked a lock on a portal that was containing a void being and accidentally released it, and destroyed the kingdom that we were in

so the wish would probably be to deal with that problem once we realized it was a problem
