This is gonna sound dumb as someone who's primary language is English but what're phonetics

Yeah that's probably it. I mean I think that's how I learned Spanish lol (though we did see some phonics at my kindergarten) because I've never really studied Spanish haha.
We also went through phonics when I learned French? But it only applies to alphabets from what I can see apparently.

Yeah it's kinda hard when you don't have anyone you can practice with.

They're all with the same alphabet though lol and two of them are Romance languages lol

If that's the correct definition I think English might be considered a Romance language because it uses a lot of latin roots (and greek) and steals other words from every other language in existence

English is a Germanic language if I remember correctly.

Well Spanish and French have more verb tenses than English.

I review grammar sometimes as part of my Language Arts but I don't have spelling anymore.

Mostly because I could spell everything already from reading hundreds of books since teaching myself to read at age 5 lol

Lol same I always have to wait for more books from the library

:0 your library must have been pretty small xD the old libraries that I used to go to were big, so I never ran out of books to read.

Especially once I got old enough to read the more advanced reads.

Speaking of advanced reads, you should definitely read the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini if you haven't already, because the series is really good, one of my favorites which is probably due to the dragons in it but shhh

It's pretty intense at times with fighting and death and stuff but you don't seem to be bothered by that sort of thing lol
