"Oh right, of course, sorry." Caligo visibly relaxed, feeling a bit sheepish for reacting like this, Aestus rubbed his head against him, an attempt to comfort his moon
"You are correct, I talked about the good stuff, but Genesis is far from an utopia, especially recently…" he seems sad. "You say that Arithnia ‘ let people in’…is it- her? Alive? Sentient in some way?"

"Ahah you are correct we are not from here." Caligo debate for a moment about how much to tell, meanwhile Aestus found his way on the counter to drink his water "we’re from a archipelago, the main island to be exact called Cantatio, it’s filled to the brim with magic, it’s, everywhere! From the animals to the plants to the very air!" Caligo smiled brightly, petting Aestus absentmindedly "I think out of all places, my favorite is the stellar planes, it has star magic in everything, the sky is a constant night sky, the stars and galaxy alway on display…" he sigh "I miss it." Aestus rubbed his head against Cal hand "n-not that this place isn’t great! But it’s home, where our family is."

Caligo was about to refuse again when Aetsus bit his ear, he take it as the hint that it is "well if you insist, plus I think mr. grumpy here agrees with you" Aestus did look a hit grumpy, but that may just be his ruffled and puffed up feathers, especially when he realised he couldn’t even hold his own glass of water, Cal chuckles and held it for him, the sun has to relocated over the moon’s shoulder, which proved to be tricky balancing act, at least he could dig his talons in thanks to Cal’s braces protecting the skin.

"Cosy!" Caligo remarked while looking around, a bit too focused on that as he didn’t realise the woman was there until she spoke
"Oh hello and thanks!" He was startled enough to accidentally have woken up Aestus, who quickly looked around, before relaxing again, giving a chirp as a greeting

"Oh! People mistook us for Garcarnians when we were in Lethera, so we were wondering, if there were other winged people here?" Caligo shyly asked, looking around to see if he might spot someone with wings, he has a strange mix of hope and mournfulness in his eyes.

"Hello it’s nice to meet you! Just our names is fine, what is yours also? This town is very lovely. Oh! What was that, ghost? It spooked both of us when we woke up" Caligo chatted excitedly, he hope it won’t offend the spirit, but it was nice to have an actual, loving person as a guide, is that offensive? Is the spirit alive and a person? He will feel awful for his actions if that is the case.
Aestus at least could relaxe now, even started preening Cal’s hair while he talked to the dapper old man.

Aestus urgently tapped Caligo’s shoulder, repeatedly, to wake him up.

Caligo woke up groggy and confused. Looking around he first spotted Aestus’s panicked, floofy face, than turning around, he saw the figure. He screamed and jumped to his feet in alarm, grabbing his sun in the process without even realising it, which cause him some panic when he didn’t see him on the ground for a few seconds before realising just what the weight in his arms was.

"who are you?!" Caligo more demanded than asked the figure

"You saw him disappear too right?" A chirp answered, hesitantly Cal took a few steps back, before taking a running start and jumping off as well, Aestus still in his arms.

"I thought you were bringing us to Praxis?" Caligo looked toward the waves as well, just how far were they taken while unconscious?

Caligo shook his head, looking around confused, Aestus chirped- can he still talk like this- in alarm
"What just happened? Where are we?" Cal asked in a panic

"But, I can just fly out of the mud?" Caligo answered, confused

Caligo was stunned for a moment, watching Flare slowly walk away, before looking at the small fuzzball at his feet.
"Ast?" He asked softly, the ball visibly jumped before running toward him, oh. His sun is panicking, ok just gotta…

"It’s gonna be ok, come here" At least Aestus wasn’t resisting being picked up, the problem was that Cal wasn’t sure how to carry his friend(?), he eventually opted to treat him like a cat, so he could at least support his legs properly

"is this how you feel carrying me?…ow ow OW CLAWS! AST CLAW!" An apologetic chirp was all it took for Cal to forgive, it was too adorable not too, in retrospect he shouldn’t have run to catch up with Flare while carrying a panicking small god with sharp talons.

Aestus turned several shade of gold"Oh right… you don’t dislike Crimson….my apologies." The god went and hid his face in his hand, and his wings, while Caligo gently pat his head "um, up I think it’s cool the scenery change, mean you always have something new to explore!" Sound like Caligo really want to go explore, but is resisting the urge to.

"Three weeks?!? That:s too long! Can’t we take the train?" Caligo whined "you’re not the one walking! Plus, I don’t think there is train here anyway…" Aestus quickly retorted, playfully poking Cal’s forehead, before turning back to Flare "…I don’t believe I’ve thanked you for coming along, so thanks you."

"Project?!? Don’t tell me you were experimenting on him!" Caligo asked outraged, seems like he has bad memories surrounding experimentations.
