"By the way. What did you pick up earlier?" Aestus asked Caligo curiously.

Caligo held up the object for Aestus to see "my horn!" He smiled, while Aestus let out a horrified "WHAT"

"It’s not the first time I broke a horn! Sometime they fall on their own. Pretty sure they were due to fall by now." Tugging at his remaining horn, sure enough, it too pop off. Aestus remained shocked for the rest of the way.

"You’re the one who stopped us!" Caligo replied.
Aestus turned to leaves, gently pushing Cal to do the same. Caligo paused to pick up something before catching up to his friend.

Caligo got hit right in the head, making them both look back with bewilderment, Cal rubbed the spot that was hit.

I still find it hilarious that Caligo and Aestus becoming friends is summed up by Cal seeing a person nearly twice his size that clearly doesn’t like him at all and going "hmm yes I will befriend them" and succeeding

"We should at least get him some new pants!" Caligo added, the poor guy ruined his pair for him, it’s only fair.

"Yeah, I guess that’s a fair trade" Caligo said with a sigh and a small smile

Aestus arrived a little bit after Fang, completely winded (is that the word?) and leaning on the doorframe for support.

Caligo nod lightly, understanding but not less feeling the unfairness of it. He finished the cheese so he curled on his side, their back to Infinity and munched on the bread. They look a little more like a dragon with their back turned.

"It was a gift! The first I ever got actually" Aestus admired it for a moment, they knew the design was intricate enough that he could feel the details, but seeing them was another thing entirely, it bring him to tears to think it was made so detailed, knowing he might never see them, yet it was made anyway.
