Another rambles

Aestus’s body temperature is very high, cause, he is the sun, he can regulate it so people can touch him, and his clothes are specifically made to block out the heat so they are safe to touch, it’s mostly so he doesn’t burn stuff wherever he goes, but everything not covered? Skin, hair, wings? Still burning.

Caligo doesn’t care about the heat, he want hugs and he will get them

His own body generate cold. Only a little chilly, nowhere near enough to ward off or equivalent the heat but enough that he can withstand it for a bit, he worked very hard on specialising this ability to be able to actually hug Aestus for as long as he want, basically so he never as to let go if he can help it-

He made himself fire/heatproof out of spite and love for physical contact (and to annoy his favorite person)

Yes the height difference mean the moon can koala hug the sun and not bother the latter in the slightest

I realised I don’t focus on Aestus enough (in my own mind that is) so i am talking about him a little

He like sewing, a lot, and picked it up very quickly.

He discovered this little passion by accident, Caligo managed to break a gigantic hole in his pants and needed a patch to fix them, but the moon doesn’t know how to sew, he kept puncturing his fingers and the patch never held properly.

He asked his friend, and Aestus offered to give it a try to humor him, thinking he won’t have much luck fixing it either, as it turns out, he had better luck, and the patch held.

He doesn’t have much confidence since he is blind and is somewhat limited in what he can do, so this gave him a little boost, he could do something, not only that it was useful and he enjoyed it, a lot!

He went fully into this new hobby, sewing small thing to practice the different kind of stitches, taking up embroidery and even making clothes! With Caligo helping with colour matching when needed

The patch is still holding strong, only needing to be resew every few centuries or so now, Aestus is very proud of his first patch.

I like my funny little men and I could keep talking about random stuff but I wonder what exactly you guys would want to know?

Like what stuff is more useful to know to would be interesting cause rn it’s just random little facts to build up/show personality or background for their relationships.

I can keep rambling too but I am curious

B your designs are cool af every one of them

My characters feel bland in comparison but than again I’ve been turning them over in my head like rotisserie chickens since I made them so that may play a part too

That’s fair, I will write a short story about them. (I have in fact started writing one already)

I won’t take reference form your art don’t worry! I usually look at series or movie for inspirations

like the wings are only where they are on their back because of series I liked where I thought it looked very cool on the characters to have wings there, granted my Caligo and Aestus’s wings should fold lower and not in in that way but I am too lazy to change it now.

Something I get design from music, idk how my brain make design solely on how the music ‘feel’ but I won’t complain, sometime photos helps too, but that one is usually for clothing designs.

I think what I tried to say is that I prefer not to take reference from other people directly cause I don’t want to rip off other people design too much, it would feel like a Frankenstein kinda character to me

I can take reference in the way things are draw, that I do, like the sketch lines are still there so I might look at how the hands were drawn to try and make mine look better

That’s how I made better eyes, I use to draw the iris fully visible before I saw on other drawingso that they draw circles that go under the eyelid and then erase the lines that are not supposed to be visible and I felt stupid for a while

I don’t draw circles tho I draw arch? Semi circles? that look like they connect somewhere under there

I understand about not liking old design, I am still tweaking my own characters design, echowo just made art of Aestus and gave him claws and now I can’t imagine him without them and also it made me think with those hands he would have beans on them, so that’s part of their design now I guess-

I'm not entirely sure how we work with universes/dimensions in GGaD but pretty much anything goes so I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with! I think it might be a good idea to run the specifics by someone else first tho. 
Personally at least I like to play around with the idea of long periods of time for deities. Because they're immortal and so there's room for a ton of backstory events in the hundreds of years or something. But there are a lot of ways to create a deity backstory and everything related to them, so you don't have to exactly follow my way of doing things (or anyone elses' either). Stilll tho it's nice to share ideas (I think) :D

They are way too entangled with their original story to be reworked into another unfortunately, I would basically have to remade new characters to integrated in this story

I am looking forward to find a way they got in this dimension it will interesting

Aestus’s hair? Yes, he just gotta avoid the antennas, did it once, never again.
