I don't really "like" songs of the genre per se but the message is hitting hard each time

Ok I need to share this thing because it's so ironic
So I got a wedding ad right and it's like 'ok'
The song that was after the ad was 'Kanashimi no Mukou E' (The Other Side of Sorrow) and it belongs to a very messed up anime where the main protagonist (a guy, he's called Makoto and he deserved the ending) [Also spoilers here lol, and there's a huge amount of violence and mature stuff so I'm spoilering it for once]

So Makoto basically has a crush on a girl called Kotonoha Katsura, and that's fine and all. Believing in a school myth, he takes a picture of her and puts her as his wallpaper for his phone, but the wallpaper is seen by another girl called Sekai Saionji, who volunteers to bring them together.
This all is like, yay, good right? Well Kotonoha has literally never dated before, so basically the relationship turns into a fiasco where Makato cheats on Kotonoha with,,, a lot of women and girls,,, idk I have never watched it because please no lol,,, one of those girls is Sekai. And Sekai ends up pregnant, or so she claims, and Makoto refuses to take responsibility and actually gets back together with Kotonoha. This drives Sekai up the wall, and she visits Makoto's home and murders him by stabbing him many times and leaves. Kotonoha, however, discovers his corpse, and texts Sekai to meet her on the rooftop; when Sekai does arrive, she's greeted with Makoto's beheaded head [Kotonoha cut it off to prove a point idk] and then Kotonoha pulls out a knife and dissects Sekai, saying Sekai was lying about her pregnancy.

The visual game series is worse, I consider the manga to be better but it's one manga series I am not reading lol

Anyways I don't like any of the characters in the series despite not knowing much about them, but I do consider Kotonoha to be interesting because the events that ensue aren't her fault and even though she fits as a Yandere she isn't batshoot crazy for no reason

I can say I hate quite a few characters of that series without even needing too much reasoning, including Makoto (his name literally means honesty lol honesty my gala apple), Sekai, Otome, Taisuke or whatever the heck his name was, and yeah
