Ok before I continue with Minecraft I just wanted to say that our videocall got cancelled :-(
Tuti and her brother didn't connect in time and they weren't answering their phones so we had no way of contacting them (even though they had promised to connect) and the other friend said he got assigned last minute chores and he wouldn't be able to videocall.
So I was in there for a while with the other friend that organized the meetup but then I had to go do chores as well.

So yeah, nothing.
Big sad.

Just finished an insane mining trip which was basically my getting into a cave/mine with an unholy amount of torches to mark my way (because it's hecking easy to get lost underground) and well-equipped with three iron picks.

I found lots of iron ore OwO and I also found some gold (though it isn't very useful from what I can tell) and I FOUND DIAMOND BLOCKS
But those were on top of some lava and I hadn't noticed :/ so most of the ones I mined ended up being burnt to a crisp. I managed to salvage two diamonds and make a sword out of them :DDDD
I'm about to start extracting the gold and iron from the ores.

Then I'll ~~deforestate a bit more~~ go get some more wood to clear up the area and work on my wheat garden.
I still need to find a good location for my future flower garden.

The biome I'm stuck in is not very useful for anything other than survival. I don't have much trouble since wood is widely available in the area (birch forest), there are many mines to extract ores from, and there's a river to fish in. There also are plenty of pigs, cows, sheep, and chicken that wander near my house. Still gotta build pens for them though.
The problem is that, even though the materials I obtain from those are okay for basic living, I want more things in order to be able to do more complex crafts. I need to visit other biomes yet those seem to be really far away and I still haven't found a way to get to those without getting lost.

I would go to the Nether to get the intial supplies for potionmaking but I still can't get obsidian.
Maybe I should wait a while before making a portal though. Make sure I'm well-equipped and all ready in the overworld first.

I'm going to try to craft some cake and make bread. My wheat farm has being going nicely, even if slow because it has been raining a lot in my biome.

Okay well it's probably time to expand my wheat plantation too. I got a fair amount of seeds in this last harvest and :D the tiny one I had isn't big enough to plant it all.

Apparently one can find random gold stuff in rivers and water bodies.
French Fry found a gold ingot and I found two pieces of gold armor.

It took me so long but I finally figured out it is possible to swim with control, not just slowly sink to the bottom.

I still can't figure out how to use my fishing rod, so I'm killing salmon with Excalibur :3

Maybe I'm really bad at drawing men because I don't really use references or bases to draw them.
Mostly everyone I draw looks either femenine or androgynous. Not that I mind, but I do want to be able to draw men properly. It would be a huge improvement in my art.

All of my sonas have red eyes (or can change to that color) after last year I mistakenly used a red marker instead of rust brown to color Alessia's eyes.
Her canon design has red irises now.

It looks pretty cool though ngl. I mean, brown hair and red eyes? Lit.
My sonas also tend to have darker skin tones. Alessia is an exception haha. But once again that's because I messed up the marker color and liked the result.
They're all fluent in Spanish as well

Ok so! My mom finally gave me that book she's been reading. I couldn't read it before because she had it.
Anyways it hit right in my heart because of the main theme and I'm crying hahaha
I'm 75% through but I can't read any long tonight because I got too sad ahhhh
