I asked them what they thought about their entire friend group being called the "Unholy Quintet", and Dion answered, with a totally deadpan expression, "That's really dumb."
Dream me felt nothing, but I woke up with shattered self-esteem (/j, I was mostly trying to get to meet Rai and Raez)
Also I kept calling him "Dye-oh-n" so he probably didn't actually mean it. ):

I keep coming in here to talk about Harold and then I keep not talking about Harold (I forgot). I am ashamed.
I level maxxed him and specialized his second skill to level 3. And then I did his Operator Records. I love him so much.

There was a funny part in the recent event where you were supposed to try to work on 5-star Operators to get free resources, which of course is where the resources for this came from. Anyways, I promoted Harold, Shalem, Record Keeper, and Whisperain (not in that order) to E2...but then I realized 3/4 of them are purple-haired for some reason, and my favorites lol. So then I made a lil purple-haired team and apparently I just like purple-haired people. And blue-haired people.

ALL CASUALTIES, RETREAT! ALL OTHERS, COVERRRR!
(I love his dialogue so much that I think it's my top favorite video game dialogue. I think it's even above Zuo Le's, which is saying something)
For some reason it seems I tend to love people who are forced to do morally iffy or horrible things but are themselves decent people.
Okay, so maybe it's morally horrible things, not just morally iffy.

Also speaking of aggravated assault, I got so frustrated at GO-EX-8's Challenge Mode randomly nuking my starting operators that I pulled out a borrowed Wis'adel. That is not a good sign.
I think I need to start working on getting all my E2 units up to higher levels for better consistency in the most challenging content.

Btw, Saga is allergic to God Cloths I think, that's why all the ND people are getting pushed out ahead of the purse snatcher, money printer, wallet stealer.

I think the only ones missing from the ND cast are Mystoria and Abel (I don't think he and Cain are a two-in-one). So basically Mystoria is definitely next.
I think he's cool. I got pwned by him asking Hyoga about Absolute Zero before the concept came out though. That's just my permanent impression of him now.

Obviously, Cardinale assaulted them first, but I just find it funny. The Virgo Saint and the goddess of war stealing off the body of some dude.

Had a dream where we were roleplaying again on GGaD from a new forumer coming in and I was so happy about getting to roleplay GGaD!Galaxian again.
Uhh, the takeaway is that I have had 0 improvement on power balancing, but it's fine. But I got to imagine him with super cool scenery behind him (since sometimes the roleplaying text turned into an actual scene), and he was kinda broken defensively in the dream, which is always good. Canonical him needs more of that.
Anyway, I was legit having a crisis on whether or not it was real. It felt so real to me because being awake in the dream felt 100% the same as to how it feels to existing in real life, except for the entire "can visualize the scene and become one of the characters part" ig. That feels silly now that I phrase it that way.

My dreams are not subtle at all in terms of where they come from lol (got hit with nostalgia surrounding the forums around 2 days back)
That "new forumer" didn't have a name I recognize, so I'm guessing I made up a new forumer in my head instead of thinking about literally anyone who I knew for some reason.

But anyways, this is a really crappy description but the scene I imagined was Galaxian with this huge landscape view around him. Artistically it was amazing, even if the actual composition was probably bad by objective standards. Subjectively speaking, I felt pain when I realized I can't recreate it IRL.
There's something about a lil kid being surrounded by a much greater world/cosmos, portrayed in an expanse of colors.

Also on a related matter, antimatter is so cool. Terrifying but cool.
The more I learn about science, the more I wonder how people in fictional worlds are able to survive in worlds where people's ability to commit war crimes even by accident is increased by 100,000 times just because a single superpower exists.

-The day after I got laid off, I received a notice from the company advertising for their financial advisors. Anyways, the notice said, "When your finances are good, you feel good." This has become a personal meme for me that I repeat every time my mom brings up anything related to money, and you can expect me to parrot this to you if I talk to you as well. Just a heads up.
-So anyways, tutoring is somehow going on longer than actual employment. Me when the economy:
-I'm going to read a book that I will probably recommend to you guys once I finish.
-Dreamed of the Gold Saints yesterday. Every single time I wake up mad that my mind can draw them correctly (face and hair and physique and all) and model them correctly as well.
-I came up with a Chinese phrase that I can say and pwn my mom with. Her knees buckle immediately. She keeps telling me to stop it but I can't because her reaction is too funny. This is the definition of a self-reinforcing loop

It's a nice touch that "Bloodstained Oath" is about Vulpisfoglia's conclusion to her revenge, whereas "Oath" is Demetri's vow to Leon (Vigil) to never give up on him and never let him down. Since, y'know, both Ingrid and Demetri are Italian.

I have a lot of respect for LC's Gold Saints actually going out and teaming up with Bronze/Silver Saints. It's kinda refreshing to see them aura farm in a place that's not their own Temples. Or, for that matter, not losing aura the moment they go out of their Temples (I'm pretty sure every Gold Saint other than Shion and Kanon lost aura out of the Sanctuary lol and idk why)

Uhhh let's not talk about El Cid trying to execute people who are afraid for their lives in a supernatural war. I'm thinking about that now.

Anyways, Asmita really came in, solved The Problem (idk why Sanctuary didn't do anything about it beforehand tbh, seemed like a pretty big problem to have undying enemies under a dude who can kill people with drawings to me), and then died with a smile.
This is why he and Shaka feel so different to me btw. Shaka mostly aura farms in place. Asmita will happily sit down in some random room, think about it, and then just do the entire group project mostly by himself. And randomly regain his eyesight right before his death and angst everyone about it.
His schtick remains consistent with Defteros too lol, he randomly just appears in the Pope Chamber and then when you think he'd fight with Aspros and Defteros, he lets Defteros figure it out. Shaka, meanwhile, goes with violence because why not. The Pope is ordering it, anyways.
Both of them are very self-assured but in different flavors is what I'm getting at (I feel like Asmita is the more socially capable one but idk, people seemed to like Shaka fine)

I find it kinda neat how canon's Virgos would probably get along very well. Asmita, Shaka, and Shijima just feel like they would vibe.

Meanwhile I once did a thought experiment of "what if canon's Gold Saints were to meet my AU's (via one side getting teleported into the other universe's equivalent Gold Temple)" and while the thought was hecking funny, I feel so bad for Asa lmiao. Iirc he gets dealt one of the worst ends of the stick in both cases. Though ig maybe not as bad as Vilhelm and Mitsuharu, who have to deal with Saga and Camus lol. At least Dion can defend against (and probably impress) Aiolia. Vilhelm and Mitsuharu get hit with the cold cold irony of...uhhh explosions and ice.

It does kinda make me laugh how Asa could be thrown into the Incarnations and be like "Yeah sure, I guess this is happening now." though. Dude is built different
Dude gets assaulted by undead and is like, "This feels sort of like that one zombie apocalypse video game."
(He then loses like 4 senses while freefalling through space and is like "wow I can't see anything...guess the time has finally come" and then somehow dodges the 5th stage and falls back into the real world, landing on his feet too)
I just can't tell if Shaka would be impressed or not, but I'm not feeling good about it, and it's even worse if it's pre-Sanctuary. He feels like the type to double down on his assumptions based on a nonchalant reaction lol

Btw the reason why I'm so nonchalant about this too is because Asa excels in fighting even in the presence of illusions and having limited senses. He's pretty much the epitome of what Ikki did in the 12 Temples arc, where someone can still fight without having the 6th senses intact.
I'm also not too worried about his actual fighting skill, so. Like, y'know, theoretically. I think he could manage a good fist-fight.
He's not having a fun time, though. I did not build him for this.
