The sounds of blunt metal against blunt metal ring through the cool air. The sun is setting, yet cartoonish stars float around in the air around the two opponents, lighting the area nicely.

Arete swings her sword down with ferocity, grunting at the weight of said sword. It is new and shiny, glinting dangerously.

Echo holds a dull baseball bat in one hand, plainly blocking the sword as he yawns. With a flick of his wrist, Arete is sent flying back.

Arete lands on her feet, yet slides backwards from the force, her hair whipping. Her armored body moves quickly to close the distance again.

Echo steps to the side calmly as the sword came down at him again, and he taps the bat against Arete's side, the contact only making a soft clack yet leaving a faint glow where the bat had made contact.

Echo hums a little as he continues making calm steps out of the way in contrast to Arete's aggressive attacks, tapping the lady here and there without hurting her.
