They say they un-old-man-ed Hellagur, but imo it's a nice lore drop of how he was in his youth and doesn't detract from how cool he is in Arknights
A bro who will tuck you into bed, apparently. With a snazzy military uniform.
Ignore all the war crimes he might have helped Ursus complete on the way, that's different. (I love him lol)

Sometimes I wonder why on earth I like cheese and milk so much, but then I remember lactose is literally made of glucose and galactose, of course I like it.

There's a cellar spider chilling pretty much right next to my face rn
It's hanging upside down from its web, which it constructed in my corner lol. I thought they put up webs in places without much human activity.
Anyways, it's very cute.

Also, contrary to what I mentioned about the human activity thing, fruit flies hecking love my corner, so technically it has made an extremely wise choice if it wants fruit fly snacks.

Right after I sent that in, a fruit fly came flying at my face like some kinda comedic actor.
I don't really mind fruit flies as long as their number doesn't exceed like,,, 3 at once.

Sometimes I wonder how awkward it would be to be any character in a story because if you fall in love with someone, it is written like it is permanent. And yes, some people really do find love like that, within an impressively short time span to boot, but realistically...idk, it doesn't feel right.
Imagine trying to break up with someone after you (and the author) set up your entire relationship as being like the sky and the sun. Or it doesn't even have to be a metaphor or anything, your entire characters could just be set up as parallels or perfect apparent contradictions or something. And you have very dramatic storylines and dialogue to pair up with all of that; probably involving life-changing moments and vows to be by each other forever.
Idk, sometimes I just think about these otome game protags having to vow to be forever with these problematic hecking men, like idk I don't think that's healthy. But it's not even constrained to otome games, it's the fact that they're written into these relationships.
TL;DR don't feel like it's ever too late to change your mind in real life about relationships, plus I personally feel bad for characters.
But not mine, because the way I circumvent it is to make it impossible for them to get with anyone else because they are made for each other (narrator note: this is literally what they just described in the text above)

Endfield is everyone being like "Endmin we are so in your debt and you've worked so hard, we're so sorry for making you overstrain yourself. But it's for the good of Talos-II" while I'm like "Why am I the one to fix these problems? Where am I even? Why am I here and what does that button do again?"
Ironically, the only thing I'm good at is beating people up, but it's also without rhyme or reason 'cause I can't remember which skills do what yet most of the time, and sometimes I can't see what the heck is even happening. Boss fights are so fun because of that.
Also I'm so through with SSA and F/GO being like "hup hup, let's go!" every single time with story that with Endfield if someone says we just need to get through the final rush, I do extra exploring out of spite
Perlica really got the worst end of the stick with me lol (since being Ritsuka Fujimaru and the Doctor has made it so that there is no patience anymore).
But it's also kinda Endfielld's fault for being so sus. Literally means "land of the end" in Chinese, and then translated to English you have Mr./Ms. "Endministrator" over here whose title definitely doesn't translate to "Administrator of the End" (in Chinese it's just "Administrator", English makes it sinister. So I combine them together)

I find it kinda funny that some of the psychopaths of Fate are also really good hecking friends
Specifically Gilles' lil group of friends lmiao. He is an extremely messed up individual in so many ways, but man does he find good pals to hang out with. He and Ryuunosuke are happy serial killer buddies (and other than Waver and Iskandar, who don't get along at first, the most compatible duo in Fate Zero), and then you have Prelati who hightails it straight to a foreign country to try to see her friend again, ngl that's so wholesome
Plus she supported him financially in life :-P
Now, idk what happened for Gilles to get executed since he died before Prelati did.

Today's random tangent: Discovering that kamikaze jokes are kinda dark, if you look at their historical origin.
I really do not like when people are like "now we will sacrifice ourselves and innocent others to save our country" when they are also the ones who started the thing that is tanking their country.
Obviously in a greater historical context it is a tad bit more complex than that, but I do think it's overall the same.

I find it funny that Kiaane is really good at understanding physics but when you ask them to explain they just start moving their hands around and making weird noises.
It's kinda cute since it's kinda universal.
I think it's funny that Raez likes physics and math so much. I can imagine him building stuff in his free time. He likes things that work but also don't, if that makes sense. no wonder he has that choice of friends

It's actually kinda sweet to me that Raez, Rai, and Wiley (and I think Dion too, but idk) like putting stuff together and taking it apart again and figuring out how things work. I can imagine them building train tracks for model trains and starting a LEGO club
They also would legitimately love playing Jenga, though Raez kinda likes seeing everything fall down while Wiley hates it with all his might (not too much might but still there), and Rai probably finds it mildly frustrating (whereas Dion quits right then and there, I love the entire spectrum that they represent)
The fact that Raez is able to visualize most particularly how to place the Jenga blocks so that they either fall down or don't is kinda his charm lol. He likes seeing everything fall down and has the exact way to do it in his mind. He's quite chaotic in that way
In other news, I've also been imagining how Pete/Sistema goes about things and it truly is interesting. Ngl I think they're about as hard to understand as Raez is, but ig that's sorta just part of it. In terms of everything above, they also like putting stuff together and breaking it apart, but which one they prefer depends on the day and whomever they're with. I imagine they're weirdly good at electrical work (good antithesis to Wiley who is absolutely not, and Rai who doesn't really want to deal with it, and Raez who would fry a circuit for fun or make a power line just to mess it up. and step on it)

With the entire model train thing I'm realizing that the group as a whole is gonna get coined with the entire "people with autism like trains" stereotype(?)
Now visualize Wiley taking that stereotype into his hands and gently handing it straight off to Dion. (idk what this means either I'm sorry just take it as him being a weirdo and mean)
Meanwhile Dion is actually the one dragged into the entire thing lol he doesn't even like trains that much (or so he would say)

Just made what I think is my best Annihilation clear yet on the Iberia's Saltfin Graveyard)
Brought Reed S2 and Ascalon S3 to completely dunk on the enemies while they passed by. Hoshiguma Alter helped with her big hecking shield. Most people just sunk into the sand or died under Big AOE Damage.
Shoutout to Typhon who soloed the literal entire right side of the map with her S2 (I've found out through my various attempts to straighten things out that her character and her sprite have some kinda extreme contrast. It's pretty funny.)
I also had Executor Alter destroy the cannon on the right side just because it was funny to have enemies run into him and explode while he was trying to set up bombs along a cannon to no avail. Btw Arts damage is much more effective, but it was funny, and I got to redeploy him to nuke the face of one of those cannon heckers (I hate the cannon heckers. There can only be one explody arsonist and that is me).
Additionally, Matsukiri is lowkey broken in Annihilation ngl I just had him slot in occasionally as a 0 brain cell DP farm as a just in case. So it culminated in stuff like 0 DP Horn and Executor Alter. And you're telling me he's just the welfare to pave the road for Silverash Alter?? Dang.
I also brought Ulpianus along, and in the middle I was wondering if Typhon would need help on the right side 'cause I didn't bring another ranged DPS,,, but she did fine lol.
He mostly just watched stuff unfold. It was fun.

I have a quote that goes really hard in my head rn but I cannot for the life of me remember where it came from.
-Galaxian-"I cannot stand this hideous thing I have become."
I am not too sure if it's "hideous" or "ugly" or "wretched" but hideous feels right, sorta. Google isn't telling me anything though
It also feels like the original quote was maybe split in two in terms of paneling so maybe it was from a manga?
I swear to the gods this is what happens when you pick up things randomly (I also can't remember direct quotes very well so that's also there)

(PMMM spoilers)
-Galaxian-I know it's not what Sayaka said before turning into a witch because hers were "I'm really, really an idiot."
Could it be Homura from Rebellion then maybe??
