Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

I do like that Galaxian personas have all my best physical traits and all my worst personality traits
No wait, actually, if they had all my worst personality traits, they would just be me.

Actually I love that they're 95% eyes /j

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

"Dion with Kal'tsit's style and fit" was not a thought I wanted to have,,,

It's mostly the fit that's kinda cursed.
Okay, well, maybe he'd look good with her aesthetic. As in white, green, and menacing monster right behind him. But definitely not with her outfit, I think he might prefer to die than wear that sort of outfit..

Faust with Kal'tsit as an EGO (X)
Dion with Kal'tsit as an EGO (✔)

they aren't really alike tbh lol I'm pretty sure my mind just thinks "hey look at that straight-cut hair" lol

I kinda imagine their interaction being something like
Kal'tsit: (*eyebrow raise*)
Dion: (*eyebrow crinkle*)
They then never interact again.

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

I kinda wonder how someone would vibe check my reactions to Ikemen Villains, but also...I'm never gonna ask anyone
It's a fun ride. By which I mean, uhhhhh. Fun art. Fun cliches. It's less villains and more murderers with problems and tragic backstories. I went into it because it makes me a bit less anxious about creating my stupid stuff, but jury's still out on the efficacy of that one.

Loose impressions of everyone:
-William: Biggest impression of him is how he either looks eh or he looks handsome. I mean, I like red eyes and white hair, but for him it depends on the art.
I don't really have that many impressions of him. I appreciate the themes in his route, but the romance is a lil...oh well. It's not the unhealthiest thing I must say, compared to other routes (what I've seen of them anyways). Standard gacha game icon behavior.
-Victor: Dude is really funny. I actually like him a lot. Idk anything about his route though, so all this is outside of his route strictly speaking. I like his design and he's silly, plus the queen's aide and all that. And I love purple eyes and long hair lol.
-Alfons: The funniest outside of his route, but inside his route is where he should be put behind bars. I enjoy whenever he appears. In other routes. I do NOT like his route. It has interesting ideas but oh boy oh boy the execution. What the heck is that execution.
-Roger: I kinda like his dynamic with the MC as friends, minus the occasional harassment (well, it's an otome game, what was I expecting. You have to plug characters in occasionally even outside of their routes apparently). Being called "lil lady" is kinda entertaining. I also enjoy his feud with Alfons a lot, even though it's kinda just a small recurring thing. As I've mentioned before, I like the Snow White trio and think they have tons of potential.
-Elbert: Very interesting thematic ideas got me through his entire route without throwing away the game, so I guess it was pretty well-written, at least in my standards for otome stories. Somehow the dynamic got more toxic with time. Interesting...not ideal, but again, what did I expect. He is very pretty imo. Though I will note that in some ways, he's a lot healthier relationship-wise than the other guys. For instance, even though he objectifies the MC, he tends to rein himself back and know it's wrong, whereas some of the others kinda justify it through their intentions. I hate when people do that.
Anyways, let's hope he doesn't stuff her in the future. That would not be good.
-Harrison: I like that he has a sweet tooth and likes books. Unfortunately when it comes to lying, I have my own OCs and F/GO's Oberon to compare to, so the standards are too high. I see a lot of the fandom saying he's more of a normal boyfriend, but...that starting patch was kinda rough lol. He's kinda like a tsundere offshoot is what I can tell.
-Liam: I love the star theme in his route. He's also...sorta on the normal side? Some warning signs here and there, but not too much of a red flag compared to a certain Alfons. Well, also, he murders people and doesn't realize it's wrong, which I think is something Elbert doesn't have, but he's an actor and he's like a cat, so he gets off scot-free in my standards (/j).
Well, seriously speaking, it's clear he's majorly depressed, has lacked moral role models ever since he accidentally became responsible for the deaths of his entire family at 8 years old or something, plus his entire Curse and stuff, so I kinda let him off the hook a little...? It's strange. And yes, I think I have a little bit of bias toward him. Maybe it is because he's like a cat lol. But I like his friendship with Harrison (same source story btw, the characters are grouped by origin stories, which is fun...I like friendships). Hopefully the entire dynamic doesn't go careening off the edge, since I've noticed that inherently, other than him murdering people in front of the MC (which is something Elbert prevents her from seeing in his route), they have a really normal dynamic lol. And I kinda appreciate normalcy.
-Ellis: He's cute looking, but I'm kinda thrown off by something about him. Not many impressions other than that...I'll be looking out for the entire Sleeping Beauty Curse though. I know the least about him and Jude. Speaking of whom--
-Jude: Apparently a huge fan favorite. I don't...get it lol. I guess the target audience likes being talked down to. Imo if someone is so cranky all the time, I wouldn't get along with them. For him, it's funny because it feels like he hates all his coworkers except for Ellis, so that's fun to watch...but I'm not sure I wanna know what goes on with his route. It's not even out yet and people like him. I don't understand.

Anyways, guess the favorite (it's Victor, followed by Liam, and then different people for different shenanigans. Idk why I like Victor. Maybe it's the silly shenanigans that he displays)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Trying to get checked out for ADHD (or lingering epilepsy symptoms), and the entire process feels like a trap because they just are not following up. At all. So I do. And it feels like an "Aha so you don't have ADHD" thing. Unfortunately for me, it's because it feels like a priority to me, just like most things, and not following up (either them or me) stresses me out

I'm ngl, I don't see this going very well. I'm already getting (again) "You don't seem like you have it", "The assessment does not offer sufficient evidence to suggest that you have this disorder", "So what is actually affecting you? You've always have good grades and I don't see a history of behavioral issues"
I might not have ADHD but like...that's the point...all that causes suffering and anxiety...(plus I do have records of teachers saying I needed to pay more attention to instructions and not zone out lol, but those got forcibly phased out after the entire bullying trauma thing on the surface, I still am pretty much the same little kid who could not pay attention and would start hearing Nothing from people talking to me after a certain point)
I feel so bad to people with ADHD who mask so hard that they don't get diagnosed lol. The imposter syndrome must be real (fortunately I kinda don't care because this is always just the experience)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

I am forgetting every single thing I wanted to say lol.

Oh wait.
So, there's a new SS game on LDPlayer that looks AI generated for some reason. Bruh momento.
That's all I have to say about it. It's funny.

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Also wanted to say that Home Base is closing down in November.
I don't think any of us are active on there, but idk, maybe you made a post or two there that you'd like to keep?
I feel bad for the Hubbles over there. They seem like they have a lively community going on there. Part of me keeps wanting to make a post over there reminding them to stay safe on the internet and to coordinate where to meet up and all that, but honestly, a lot of them feel even younger than forumers were back in the day, so I'd be a bit nervous to be doing that. And then the other part of me is like "They'll be fine" lol (I have a lot of faith and zero faith at the same time, in different people)
Heads up as well that it's possible some of them will come over to the forum (since an offshoot of GGaD is going over there, I can see some of them finding the wiki and Boardhost). I'm not too sure, but I'll let them in and communicate as necessary.

As always, logging in with my old account credentials is...an experience for sure. I type "scarletdragon3016" like I do it every day. And I don't.

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

I must say, it's a little bit whiplash-inducing that some Hubbles that been on Home Base for 7 years.
I was on the forums for less than 1 year, but it feels like I was on there for at least 3. Idk. I guess maybe the transition to the wiki and then to here made it feel like the experience continued on after it ended.
I wonder how the forumers who aren't in the Discord servers are doing. Maybe we're unrecognizable to each other now, much as I think that I haven't changed much.

Part of me thinks maybe if we want to feel less sad about things, we should stop remembering sad things and playing "Merciful Broken Sun" and Babel OST in our head 24/7
