Chapter 50 benchmark (110.5 total?)
It's still a ride lol.
I like it. It's got a very different vibe to the fantasy I'm used to, obviously with the series' themes intertwining the supernatural with reality (human nature and whatnot)
I also really enjoy the art. It's nothing super eye-popping or anything, but it's very consistent and I think it's stylistically unique. I enjoy how different characters are more realistic or anime than each other; I get the feeling that it's intentional.
Basically everything I thought I'd enjoy. I don't think the negatives are that bad. Suspense of disbelief is kinda strong, but reading something all in one go when it was initially published bit by bit and had to grab everyone's attention is definitely a thing. I might go into this in more detail later.
I went into it wanting to focus on three people the most, but everyone else has proven pretty fun as well. Even if I still don't remember some of their names.
Oh yeah, I guess it's four people, not three. Three-point-five? I don't know. Something near that.
I'm thinking ahead of time about the anime. I've heard the dub is really hecking good. On the other, I'm not too sure how I feel about my mom hearing me watch this. Well, I did summarize the premise to her years ago, but these people kinda crazy.
It's sorta like a sitcom.

Sometimes I'm like "why can't we just enjoy the dynamics for what they are", but honestly Yagami spelled backward is "I'm a gay". So...what I mean is...yeah, I can't fault them.
Gotta love living in a world where the same name in its original meaning is "night god" and then when people who speak another language see it, they can literally turn it on top of its head and find a free meme. Well actually, the shipping and memes probably came first, this was just fuel on the fire.
