Yooo love the coloring choices you made for this piece! I like the lighting and the contrast between the moon and the lantern. I also see little details or color or lighting here and there, and it really helps things stand out.

It's kind of a pity that a lot of these got cropped to fit into the correct spaces, but I tried to focus on the most important parts of each. I like to see that my style is more or less consistent, at least recognizable in the way I structure faces and bodies. Ofc I still have to improve and get over same-face syndrome but it's kinda nice to be able to recgonize your own touch in art yk?
Overall I think this year I've really tried to experiment with lighting. Both with direct coloring and with layer usage and for now I think I've settled on a combination of the two (but Medibang's Add layer lowkey sucks ngl) for ambient light and stuff. Trying to learn how to make the character blend in with their surroundings. I hope I can go further with that this year. And also I've noticed that I desperately need to continue improving on posing lol everyone looks so stiff and the same I think that's like the one thing that's kinda eh. But this year I'm really trying hard with that.

Now, on choosing the pieces for this, it was tough. For January - March because I barely drew anything digitally during those months and I literally had to scrounge through chats to find like the only sketches I've done? Like that is the one showable thing (digital) that I have for January and heck is it unfinished. But it picked up from April onwards and June-July was, well, Artfight. That explains itself.
Around August I started experimenting with the usage of less lineart. Mostly because I'm lazy, yes, but also because I've found a sort of charm in being able to worry less about clean lining and more about the colors and things I want to convey through the art. As silly as it may be. Focusing less on lineart has made me improve my coloring though or at least I think so (and I hope I'm not delusional).

Anyways that's more or less it. Of course the masterpiece was the Lucifer EGO I drew for Artfight as there is literally no way any other thing in my 2024 folders can top that.
I need to learn how to draw men better.

Art dump! I chose some of my pieces to show off because why not tbh. They’re not in any particular order.

This first one is a trend from a server in which it was the user + the characters from 2024. I don’t think I’ve introduced any of them to you guys, but they’re all males and from discord roleplay. Chibi me in the center, and from left to right: Valère, Sapphire, Charlie, and Isak.


Isak!! I don’t want to say much about him because he’s partly not very well known to the people I’m going to show him to, but he’s very dear to me. I speedran this and ended up not using it. Looking back, I might want to fix his hairstyle because the color and style are very close to one of my other characters’.


Because the Animation vs. Animator brainrot is not going away. Fanart of The Chosen One as an “angel of death” based on a frame from the latest episode of AvA. Note that this is my own design for TCO because the original character is just a stick figure lol.


I just really like the design for this character. I drew this with the intention of uploading to Artfight since I really like Beau (that his name) but backed out in the last minute so now it’s just there. But this was testing out a new way of sketching with another brush.

A sketch of my Limbus fan character Alice in her W Corp identity. It was originally just a brainstorming thing but I decided to add color and it just kind of ended like this? I’ve been leaving it just like that but I might refine it in the future since it is something I did really quickly.

Fullbody render of my own character! Lenci, a vtuber better known as Stardust Stella (credit to Echo for choosing the name). I still have to finish desgining the vtuber avatar since this is her real appearance, and I actually kind of really like the clothing even though the colors have me a lil doubtful. Whatever, the vibes are the important thing here, since clothes have to first fit the character personality.


Fullbody render for Tuti’s OC! Side view is extremely hard for me and I don’t think I nailed it here but at least it doesn’t look that bad. Hair and pants were a struggle but in the end I think they really look as intended at least. Credit to her for the character design!
