The actual Arknights news: Doctor GalaxE & crew first-try event stage, but not before getting run over by 2 cars (they then fail to 3 star the stage for various dumb reasons)

For some reason every time I see evil Saga my reaction is just "RAHHHHH" and idk why but I think I might die

SS canon is so funny because sometimes I'll be taking the AU too seriously (I really feel the need to make characters competent most of the time, unless I'm doing it on purpose and it's so everything is silly), and then I look at canon and then back at the AU cast and think, "Oh yeah, you guys are fine huh. It's just me making a big deal out of everything like usual." and then I look at the canon cast and am like "So, guys--"

I reviewed a few summon animations since they don't really load in the first time and didn't load any other time until now. Hades' animation goes hecking hard lol. It's so much cooler than "dude wakes up from nap in coffin room. He has a sword" all shade intended lmiao
God Cloth Milo's starts off with just an eye zoom in and manga flashbacks which was pretty funny. Then he blitzes across the screen. Very Milo-ish, though probably not the most creative. Who cares? Gold Saints blitzing across the room is always funny. Let them blitz.
Kanon's, as I've mentioned before, is just him bullying Rhadamanthys. So when you summon him, he owns Rhadamanthys. Then when you click on him to level him up and stuff, he bullies Rhadamanthys. Gotta love it

Btw I came up with a joke headcanon a few days back, and that's that even though some people can reach light speed, they can't sustain it while running up altitude. Hence the Twelve Temple has  s t a i r s  (and probably anti-flight measures. I would hope)
This is funny because makes up for the fandom's stair jokes. Everyone has to run. The Gold Saints are maybe just a lil faster, but not that much because they will trip anyways. My favorite characters? Yes they are, why do you ask?

Anywho, the OG Gold Saints don't have video animations since they were probably part of the game at launch, but variants like their God Cloth selves, Arayashiki Shaka, etc. do. Pretty cool.

She's from Leithanien too btw lol. So now the only operators from the region who I don't have are Eyjafjalla and Czerny. I dunno (edit: typed this as dunnot somehow initially. glorious) how to get either of them, but y'know, there might be a chance. And yes, this counts even if I count Degenbrecher and Carnelian. I am truly a goat collector 

I love the colors of her design (Xuqiao bias if you know), but I laugh a lil every time I see just how high her high heels go, considering she's a knight and all that. And how big her antlers are, coupled with that big 'ol hood. I think it comes from me seeing her have to navigate a castle in the Zwillingsturme im Herbt trailer (she had to jump with those...idk 4 inch heels? I don't know heels).
Anyways, guard chip shortage. Again. What is new at this point

I've seen memes of her being underpowered(? not described like this), but I'll have to give her a try to decide

Anyways, now just because of the goat thing I'm wondering what instrument Shura would play. Maybe he and Degenbrecher would get along lol (bodyguard vs. assassin, how would that go)

Honestly Degenbrecher vs. Shura feels pretty horrifying to imagine, excluding stuff like probable speed and "feat" differences. 

For some reason I feel like Shura would be impressed tho, idk. That's kinda a surprising thought because I rarely feel like he's impressed at anything. Maybe they could be friends lol yes, this is what my life has come down to. I start friendshipping goats

...yeah, I don't see it. Good stuff to curse my future self with tho. I'll probably be doing something then and then reread this post, and then feel forced to start drawing a hypothetical AU of the Gold Saints living in Terra.

To be honest, I've written for the straight people and usually there is more tension...but then again, I don't think I have that many comparisons. I have like. Hitan and Helen. I wrote them once. I was not very good at writing. And btw I only have oneshot privileges on them at best, so don't be expecting anything out of them soon, unless I really really want to suffer. And that's something my mind decides, not me. I'm not the masochist
Rai and Anima only get cute headcanons once in a while, otherwise...yeah, some redacted stuff. Yep. Hey, maybe the SS AU will change that (: (doubt, it's just agony so far)
And then I think Cleaver and I had Tensei and Krystine? In retrospect, those two got along well, but wow is it weird that they could date at 13. I could never

Gotta love 2024, I somehow evened out the gay and straight ships I have. As in, 1:1 (/j? currently? kind of?)
I need to write stuff for Xenia and Paymon, but the thing for Xenia and Paymon is...Xenia is too complicated to figure out, and so I don't. Definitely her sunny son son's way of solving problems, for sure.

Btw Arknights gave out some really nice freebie awards (free ticket to promote any 5 star operator immediately to E2, followed by a free ticket to promote any E2 operator immediately to E2.80, a free ticket to choose a 6 star operator, and also 8 free material tickets). Not used to this level of generosity tbh. Plus, it's not even the anniversary, so I'm stunned
They were listed as starter awards, so I was like "Well I'm not technically a starter," but they apparently decided it was fair to just distribute it to everyone. Again, I wasn't really expecting it, so for me it's a lil mindblowing lol. But idk why I'm so surprised. F/GO also does that with free 5 star tickets.

Noting that the 6-star ticket was gonna make me suffer either way, the operators were: Exusiai (Texas' coworker/friend, a Sniper), Thorns (a Guard), Silverash (also a Guard), Saria (a Defender), Mountain (a Guard, thankfully I already have him and am not yet at the point where I start considering duplicates from free tickets), and Blaze (a Guard), and like I mentioned, I like all of them. So there is really no winning.

I like Exu, but not enough to choose her from a free ticket 'cause I already have 2 very good E2ed Snipers (Greythroat and Kroos Alter) and a lot more in the queue waiting to be levelled up. If she wants to come she'll have to spook me. Silverash has the "Degenbrecher's friend" thing as mentioned {edit: later in the post, since I came back and added this without looking at where the mention was}, plus what seems to be a tactician schtick (which I'm a sucker for) and Lord Guard functions that Arene doesn't cover. I'm not too keen on booting Arene out of utility, so yeah. 

I used the immediate E2 on Quercus, who I adore for no apparent reason. Like I legit do not know why I like her as much as I do...but I couldn't level her up much since I have a lot of Supporters in the queue. Also got Silverash because I got Degenbrecher a while back, and they seem to be very good friends. Sorry literally anyone else ): (I liked literally everyone else too lol)
I didn't use the immediate E2.80 ticket because all my E2s are at E2.50 anyways. Maybe one day when I don't feel like using EXP I've farmed, I'll do it. Hint, it'll probably go to Shu, who I need to find the materials for again (but I made the chips today lol)

Maybe it's 'cause of this sort of stuff that I keep on thinking questions like "If I were to die literally tomorrow from factors outside of my control, would I be ok with it" and unfortunately I am still not enlightened enough to say yes. Also I am not smart enough to survive most stuff, so that's also there.
