"Yep!  Kani and Eli are my sister and dad respectively!  I'm actually a Garcarnian, not Letheran.  I'm the official diplomat...ambassador...guy thing, for Lethera and Garcarnia under the orders of Praxis himself.  Though I'm more officially recognized and operating in Lethera, thus I can be considered native there and serve under Kyng Crimson.  AND A FLUFF BALL AESTUS?!  I sure would hate to see Fang geek out over them...she would never let gooooooooo of you! 
Oh and uhhhh...I mean, I guess I could come with you guys.  I wasn't planning on going anywhere besides the markets around.  So sure, why not.  Though I thought that Catalyst was going to take you guys?"
 

"Yeah, in a way I do have duel citizenship.  And what's so freaky about it?  Not like it can hurt you...I think."

Agni froze mid-bite and looked at Aestus.  Even Eli who had just been silently watching paused. 

“Catalyst isn’t Death.” The two said in sync.

"Well you should be aware that our worlds are different as they come.  You can't compare two things whose principals are different while appearance is the same.  And if you've a problem with Catalyst, you're more than welcome to talk to Praxis about it." Agni said, putting his spoon down in his bowl and cracking his neck.  This was his signal to have Eli take over the conversation.

Spoilers, she didn't.  She just looked at Agni and then the two gods and went back to...whatever she was doing.  You can't really see what she's doing behind the bar. 

An rather uncomfortable silence filled the small dining-hall...entrance...thing. 
 

"I hope you all know that silence is never a good idea in front of company." an old voice said, opening the inn door.  It was Kani himself. 

"Hey Dad." Agni said softly.  Eli popped her head up from behind the bar and gave the man a worried expression.  Kani closed his eyes momentarily and nodded.  "Hello Agnithera.  I'm surprised to see you so soon.  Do you still go by Azure these days?" the older gentleman asked, walking to the bar, his cane gently rattling against the wood floors.  He sat down on the stool next to Agni.  Eli looked over at the two gods and sighed.  "You two can sit down as well..." she said. 
 

"Yeah.  Agni is fine dad...please." the man said to his father.  It was easily apparent they didn't have the best of relationships.  Even Eli felt a tad bit uncomfortable.  "Uhhh, righttttttttttttttttttttttt...I'll get you all some breakfast and drinks.  Cally, can you help meeeeee?"

(AHAHAHAHAHA, I JUST THOUGHT OF THAT NICKNAME, PLEASE USE IT IF YOU WANT BWHAHAAHHA)

"D'awwww, lighten up, I just need some help...besides, this atmosphere is thicker than Aestus' fur..." Eli mumbled that last part. 

Agni and Kani didn't say a word to each other, but clearly they wanted to.  Three moons, what exactly did Agni even do to deserve this...oh wait-- he left. 

"So...have...you been in good health dad?" the man asked his father, a slight hint of stubbornness coated his voice. 
 

(Also, sorry if my writing is a bit lackluster, it's been awhile and I gotta get back into the flow again man.)

"Oh cram it you brittle boned bonehead!" Eli retorted and grabbed the gods hand and pulled him into the back of the bar. 

Kani leaned forward and glared at Aestus, clearly hearing them quite well before he directed his attention back to Agni.  "For the most part, yes.  Eli has been talking good care of the inn, and I've been doing what I can around the town, moreso in the Capital really.  Praxis himself usually calls upon me when he needs a letter delivered to the town.  And when that happens, I can get a supply of medications along with it.  So it's more or less a blessing."
 

(A month Vio, A FREAKING MONTH I hath suffered)

"Pax has been giving you stuff?  That's new.  I thought he wasn't one for that kind of stuff." Agni said, actually interested in a conversation for once, his azure eyes gleamed for a moment.  Kani briefly smiled.  "Well, it's...not a good thing really.  That's why I said it was a blessing more or less, due to the nature of the two gods...well it would be a better idea that the Kyng himself explains it Agni." the old man said to his son, who wanted to interject but kept his mouth shut, a wise choice on his part. 

"Oh, and Aestus, please chime in, we're a welcomeing family, not a dry one." Kani told the god.

"Says the sassy pants who wore a brace according to my brother.  Hehehe, so cute!" Eli giggled and handed the god a few mugs, made of a mix of oak wood and some ivory.

"It's better explained by the Kyng himself." Kani said to the god.  Even Agni agreed.

"That's rude man..." Agni said to Aestus.  "Respect the old man..." he said, his voice rather hurt and annoyed.  Kani sighed and put his hand on his sons shoulder and shook his head.  "Calm down Agni...they don't know better...

"YOU BROWNIE-BRITTLE BONEHEAD STOP THAT!" Eli gasped.  "Don't go biting the damn mugs man!  They're special you nutcase!"
 

(GO TO SLEEP YOU BLOODY BIRD!)

"Simple culture changes that's all.  We don't have many draconic or dragon-like beings here, so we easily assume that wrapping ones wings around thyself is like crossing your arms.  At least, that's how Praxis has told us.  He's more like that than we are.  So it's nothing more the simple to explain than..." Kani stopped for a moment and stopped talking, looking at Agni.  The azure-eyed man nodded slightly and picked up where Kani stopped.  "Just take it like a literal action.  Pay attention to those around you.  And don't worry too much about if what you're doing is wrong.  People will more or less understand since you're not a native here."

"Oh three moons you goof...stop biting yourself and make some large tray for the food.  I know you can at the least do that.  So make yourself useful please."
 

(Vioooooooooooooo, get eepy time on time)

"Well of course it is, at least for you.  Unlike Lethera, Garcarnia is more formal in its culture.  Nice and neat is how we like things.  As such, we do have a "policy" of sorts when it comes to manners.  Nothing insane though, and I'm sure many can forgive you.  That said, please do mind your actions and emphasize to people thaat you're not an Arithnian if you must.  All in good faith they will forgive you, even the most stubborn of Garcarnians will."

"IS...IS THAT SILVER BLOOD?!" Eli exclaimed, wrapping her hands around his gloves and taking a handkerchief from her breast pocket and wrapped it around his hand. "Three moons!  You're insane!  Thanks for the trays but you didn't need to bite yourself THAT hard!"
 

('ight bet, lets see how long you go without finding your cat.)

"That's Caligo I would presume.  He bit his hand." Agni said rather calmly.  "Eli is taking care of it...kinda.  Might wanna go help her out with that dummy." Kani finished for his son.

"I would REALLY not like to smell BURNING FLESH in MY inn please." Eli said and ran out from the small storage-esqe room and looked at Aestus who already jumped up.  "Your time man, have fun." she said and jumped over the bar and slid the trays onto the bar table.
