Madoka Magica's transformations really do remind me of SS's Cloth transformation sequences lol
I mean a lot of the sounds are kinda metallic.
I'm a huge fan btw. Gotta love magical transformations that don't take too long. With cool sound effects!

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

The more content I get for Hyoga and Isaak the more I become confident that someone needs to call CPS on Camus
Not particularly for physical abuse (if anything he seems to do okay in that front...not that his techniques are all that physical), but the mental stuff is off the rails

And yes again I know he is only 6 years older than both his disciples (ISAAK IS 14??), but he's like a dad to Hyoga and Isaak and also I'm an Aquarian so I get to make fun of him.

ok it's not as bad as it sounds it's not like I get food poisoning from the place every time I go, it's been like, 3 times

I don't trust A's in health inspection lol my mom's worked more than a few restaurants (they just get A's when the inspectors come around lol they're like the business equivalent of children who can sense the incoming presence of their overbearing parents, except not like that at all)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

For today's news, I learnt that apparently sudden onsets of intense emotion (like panic and fear) are a symptom of epilepsy too, so I've been kinda having a lil bit of a crisis.
I mean, I thought what I get at times were either just good 'ol anxiety attacks or Omens of Heaven (they seem to be a really strong extension of my gut feeling and are lowkey prophetic), but as it turns out, attention deficit disorders coming from epilepsy are still the same disorders, not classified as epilepsy-caused or whatever. So for instance, ADHD would still be ADHD, just maybe caused by the epilepsy. But on the opposite end, people with epilepsy tend to more easily develop anxiety and depression and stuff.

So I've been trying to figure out if these emotions-related symptoms only surface before a seizure as well as happen because a person often has seizures, or are they kinda just neurological stuff?

Another episode of me trying to figure out if this was just what was wrong with me before or if I can blame what happened (TM) for these stupid memory and emotional problems

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Oh yeah also I think I regressed to 2021 me and am stuck there for a bit. I've been feeling hecking lonely even though I could just login and have been interacting with people IRL (I mean, I said I like people sometimes, so that's there). And now that I've logged in I still don't really feel that disappearing.
The good thing is that I've been writing, and so I feel my characters' presence in my mind. Still, it's a bit different, y'know.

It's probably also related to the fact that I cannot draw at all at the moment lol (I mean I physically could, but it's just so horrible objectively speaking and doing it instead makes me frustrated)
Sounds like I lost the mandate of heaven /j (the mandate of heaven says I have to write instead or something. Gotta cope)

Analyzing this objectively it's probably 'cause my mom and I are separated again and everyone is busy, plus I just went through looking at a bunch of forums stuff so I'm stuck on a nostalgic trip
Plus brainrotting on PMMM does not help lol (ships are very cute and all that but they cause me more pain than serotonin I'm noticing)

Y'know now that I think about it, I can't even think of any guy-and-guy ships that I like
The straight ships aren't looking that good either, it's just Ryouma and Oryou lol that isn't even anything (they're the OTP of Fate I do not care yes F/sn exists too but have you seen them? They the best)

At the end of the second arc Proper Human History will get pruned because it's not 100% certain if PHH Oryou was also Ryouma's wife. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

Reiterating that I do not in fact ship Camus and Milo. They are on thin hecking ice even with their best friends status and that is entirely Camus' fault tbh. And this is @Specter btw lol

I'm trying to think about which Gold Saints didn't beat the crap out of some 13-year-olds and rn I think only Mu and Aiolos? But then again--
-Mu: Starlight Extinction-ed Seiya out of the Temples in the Hades Sanctuary Arc, idk if that counts
-Aldebaran: GREAT HORN
-Saga/Kanon: The Boxer Brothers (they love punching children)
-Deathmask: Baby you spin me right around (ask me for context if you don't get it)
-Aiolia: Y'know when you do something, say you won't do it again, and then do it again
-Shaka: He got a 1-time AOE knockout potion
-Dohko: He was about to get off scot free since Shiryu's training wasn't shown, but then ND came around
-Milo: The excessive acupuncture enthusiast
-Aiolos: Only safe from the allegations because he is dead
-Shura: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-Camus: The local example of the incompetence of CPS
-Aphrodite: Bleeding out counts, right? Right??

Yea we not looking too good.

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Okay but allow me to point out the fact that if Aiolos had survived to the present day and somehow needed to, he would beat the crap out of some 13-year-olds. 'Cause he's the perfect Saint and he'd do it for duty lol (meanwhile my version of him would hesitate before doing so just 'cause I plague him with babysitting duties when Saga's off duty)

So the question remains, would Mu beat up 13 year olds if he needed to (the answer is yes and I blame it on SHION [joking on the last bit, probably])

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Btw turns out the solution is just "draw Saber", 'cause I drew them after the uhhh the above ^^^ and then I immediately felt better, and went on to do a lil art studying (what I do cannot constitute studies in all honesty, but y'know a step at a time. Or just one step at one time and never again. Better than zero)

I mean it's not a 100% resolution 'cause I really miss my mom and so sometimes I have a lil bit of a crisis over that, but the improvement was drastic

I've been bingeing (if that's the correct spelling, 'cause it looks more correct that way) an old book series, and I did it all out of order (2, 4, 3, 1). It's ok 'cause it's a YA series and so each book is supposed to be relatively independent of each other. I guess the events influence what occurs in the next, but not too much.
The series' name is Mo and Dale Mysteries. The protagonist is named Moses (Mo) LoBeau, and that name is 'cause she was born during a hurricane and swept downstream, later picked up by an amnesiac man calling himself the Colonel. He called her Moses 'cause of obvious reasons, and then realised she's a girl. Hecking hilarious.

The series really really specialises in its vibrant cast, as I personally don't think I've seen more memorable characters in English literature. Its setting is also in the South, and I really like the atmosphere of a small town that all the books give off. In terms of personal recommendations...I will have to see, but so far my opinions haven't changed, and I still think the 4th book is the worst of the series. But it isn't a bad book, just rushed, with some parts that I scratch my head at. It's probably like that due the Curse of Possibly Rushed Series Conclusion.
Special shoutout to the way the books are structured btw (since I myself suck at plot pacing), as well as the writing style 'cause I actually really like how the books are narrated.
Last but not least so I don't spam about everything (I will spam about everything later [/hj?]), I freaking love the morals in this book. They don't feel too stuffed-in-your-face with no reason. And there is character development.
I love this series btw, would recommend. Maybe read the first book, Three Times Lucky (the author is Sheila Turnage btw), and see if it's your cup of tea. I'd say the second book has a different flavour than the rest, while the first and third books are stylistically more similar to each other, but they do form a coherent series. So, if you wanted a sample, Three Times Lucky is a good bet.

Oh yeah on the author name, turns out i before e except after c is a hecking lie (/j?)

And I will stop reading Young Adult novels never lol, tbh I'm not even an adult yet and the adult novels I usually see around suck the life out of me.
Maybe I'll reread Spirit Animals sometime, and maybe I'll finally try out Wings of Fire (they will not try out WoF lol they always say this)

I blame memory overlap (I joined the SAMB through my first RP, which was also SA-centred, so my mind prioritises the first one)

I do love how Hakuouki and F/GO both have him wear glasses and exude a similar (shady) vibe.
Anyways it took like one multi of singles, which is great 'cause I have wayyy too many Rider embers. I hope Huang Feihu will come home

Anyways now this is awkward because idk the history between the Shinsengumi and Ryouma, whoopsie. Hopefully they didn't assassinate him or anything (wouldn't surprise me if they were suspected of it, RL Shinsengumi were kinda nuts and you can even see it in Fate)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

My grandfather said yes to teaching me Chinese chess years ago, but then he said he'd no longer play chess because it'd kill his brain cells, so now out of spite I'm self-learning it (for one day and then giving up/forgetting about it)

No but actually it's because of F/DA Berserker. The guy forces me to be cultured
Further context: In Chinese there's a saying that says someone is proficient at "zither, chess, calligraphy, and drawing" and lemme just say I'm an amateur in all those things, sometimes not by my fault (drawing is 100% my fault). So occasionally I feel like not disappointing my ancestors.
I also happen to like the type of calligraphy no one else in my family actually appreciates lol. But imo I'm pretty good at anything music-related.
So now all that's left is chess. I also self-learned Chinese checkers when I was little, but I'm by no means an expert. And really this is just an excuse to learn how to play different games. Unless you take chess/checkers/etc. super seriously, that's just what they boil down to, right?

I've always been curious as to why Chinese chess and Western chess seem to share so many similarities, but ig it's the shared bit of the human brain and culture at work again.
The other day I read someone saying that Chinese characters have "two" things they've found that share commonalities with the Christian Bible and I just about hecking died, since their point was that that meant Christianity is for sure the truth. Bro, those are two things. If I shared two favorite foods with you, would that make us siblings?

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

One of the housemates here keeps trying to come downstairs and talk to me when I'm cooking. The problem being that he is a thief and has stolen idk how much of my food from the fridge at this point. Plus he does stuff like wait 'til I'm asleep to wait outside the door and try to see if it's unlocked, and slams the doors next to mine when he thinks I'm asleep, and a bunch more stuff I could list.
So basically the problem is: I don't want to talk to him, but he thinks I'm interested and I don't really wanna infuriate him or something
