Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

The Hades Chapter was this big huge missed opportunity of getting Ikki to meet Kanon again and have them snark each other in the middle of trying not to get pwned by Aiacos and Minos

Tbh the physical abuse and waterboarding has always made me feel that it's no wonder that Kanon saw through Saga having another personality lol, there's no way those are the actions of the Saintliest Saint of Sanctuary

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Love how yesterday was me laughing about Kanon and today is just me remembering, "The child you are worrying about has already grown up."
Look, I would adopt Hyoga. Why? 'Cause I think it'd be nice, I think he wouldn't be a very demanding kid and I would like to get him clothes. Also I would adopt Isaak too and they could be brothers, it would be sweet.

The weird contrast of me not liking the 5 Bronzes very much but also being willing to adopt them (as proof, I buy them clothes in Awakening even though I could save up for the Gold Saints most of the time)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

It's not actually that weird, I just find them a tad annoying (well sometimes more than a tad, but I digress). But they're good kids and they solve a lot of the world's problems somehow, and I'd rather them have normal lives
Also obviously the Gold Saints are not made for main character status. I tend to like side characters more to begin with.

-Seiya is fine and I admire his tenacious spirit, he's just so hecking loooouddd and he can be very dumb. I cannot stand him in the movies. I give him a bit of a pass at the beginning of the Hades chapter 'cause that was Saori's bad and idk what she was doing with that horrendous communication. But he does deserve a break and I hope he gets to spend time with Seika before plot catches up to him again in whatever comes after ND
-Shun is fine too, I just think that his development kinda stagnated and then the pacifism got a bit old after a while. I do like analysing his approaches to battles though, it's pretty interesting. I like his dynamics with the others.
-Hyoga is ???? just messed up after everything. Like y'know, his mom dying, his master dying, him having to kill his martial brother, him watching his master die again. Bro needs a break
-Shiryu also deserves a break lol, I do kinda love how in ND he went back home after getting out of the literal Underworld and was like "no, no I'm not gonna keep dealing with this." But then he had to deal with it again. I think I mostly get annoyed by how un-Chinese he seems (some of his tactics are kinda just,,, yikies), but the author is Japanese and he's half-Japanese too so ig it makes sense that he acts more 100% Japanese.
-Ikki needs some therapy, what else can I say. He and Hyoga both, I'll carpool them to a psychologist. I think I kinda get annoyed by how he has to stretch out his entrances, like c'mon man I get that's your thing, but brooo your friends are getting hecking beat up, please hurry up. Cool hax though lol (literally cannot die, armour has infinite regeneration, and keeps on getting back from another dimension. No wonder he has a Firebird Ikki form lol, another dimension is pretty much his second home at this point or something if time skews that way)

Saori though. I think I can count the number of redeeming moments she's had on 3 fingers, and one of them is hypothetical. Awakening her (albeit in her God Cloth) is superior just for the fact that she actually goes into battle with armour and a weapon and is actually useful (provides energy, supports her allies, sticks around after being incapacitated, doesn't make up a stupid plan to save the one guy who's put his neck out there for her so many times, can do a bit of damage, adopts to the situation rather than getting worse over time)
Also. She is NOT 13, I do NOT care, I can go with Ikki being 15 at first because that makes the Saga/Kanon parallel better, but Saori is at least hecking 16 and I do NOT accept revisions. Baby her was 3 in my eyes, do you see that amount of hair on her head.
ok so maybe she was 2 but I do NOT accept 13 as a age for her, I do not.

I do think it's interesting how Aphrodite threw a few roses first as a warning
Looks like at 10 years old, the cruelest Saint wasn't that cruel.

But honestly I think Aiolos had a problem with reading people, like "Aphrodite will understand" (*Aphrodite stabs him multiple times*) "Shura will definitely understand" (*Shura tries to bisect him*)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Correction: Shura tried to bisect him multiple times and absolutely did not try to avoid striking Athena (you can see Aiolos hoist her up so she isn't cut)

Another Athena L moment: Why did you wait until he was sliced like 6 times to use Nike. L

10 year old Shura is hysterical. He's always been about the choppity life

(*Yet another guy comes to RI saying he needs treatment when in actuality he's here for information gathering/spying/similar activities*)
Me: (*sighs*)

Giving him a pass because he's handsome. (joking please don't go after me)

My first 4-star was Shirayuki. I am pretty sure she's sent here to spy on us by Wei Wenwu's wife or something.
Harmonie is hella sus. Event confirmed my suspicions.
My guy Bassline is an envoy of one of the Leithanien Empresses...

Idk who the HR manager is at this place but I'm pretty sure they have something against RI. Or they revel in chaos.
At least in F/GO the Heroic Spirits mostly have Earth to call home or like their Master or otherwise have some reason to be fighting. RI is like half idealist half ulterior motives. No idea who's doing the administrative work but respect
