"No, I don't think there's any other way except the walls." Red answers, continuing after the knight.
Rain takes a few quickened steps to catch up to the other two, "Yeah, but... I don't know how many people will bite. Still. It feels like it's us out here right now."

"I'm afraid I don't follow what you mean, Rain. We are the only ones nearby, unless there happens to be an owl overhead. Their feathers muffle the sound of their flight quite well, so it's not entirely impossible."

"I mean, like, just, I don't know how many people are gonna come with." Rain rephrases, "From the time the announcement was made by the flowers, to the time our group left to check out the wall, I didn't really notice any people leaving town in the same direction as us. If that makes sense."

"That is because the town is safe. People are going to take the time to rest, repair and restock their weaponry and armour, and heal off any injuries they've sustained. I myself only went to the wall to scout it out, I had no plans to come back until I was able to gather people to help search for ways easier to ascend the wall than cracking into it with picks and ropes. But if those towers can provide a way up, we could potentially convince the less patient to join us."

"I mean, I suppose." Rain sighs, "But I suppose that next time we go out, it's going to be just as dangerous, if not moreso since we'll be closer to the wall."

"Hence why we'd be attempting to get more people to travel with us. More people means more eyes to see danger, and more people mean more hands to drive off the danger." Lycaon says this as though this is what he's been saying during this entire topic.

Red nods, "I agree. More people we have, the better. Strength in numbers."
"But, what if someone finds it an opportune time to start picking off competition? Out in the middle of nowhere, away from the town, surrounded by monsters of all sort, its good cover to do so..." Rain, once again, worries.
Red just gives a sigh of exasperation and rolls her eyes... though, inwardly, Rain's caution did raise a good point.

"In a group? Where they are assumably outnumbered?" Lycaon seems to quirk an eyebrow, but uh.. blindfold slightly obscures it. "And if they aren't, it's entirely improbable that they'll outnumber the people looking to just get through the beasts."

Rain shrugs, "All it takes is just the right place at the right time..."
"Rain, please." Red interjects, "If you worry this much, you'll never reach the flowers. You'd just be stuck in town."
Offline
"Red does have a point. With all this worrying, I'm partially surprised that you didn't get stuck at home deciding what to bring."
Offline
"Hm. I'm surprised as well," Rain replies, "I'm not always so worried, I'm just... cautious."

"The line between caution and paranoia is thin, my friend. Tread it carefully."

"Hm." Rain noted, but didn't make any other response.
((Should we like, wait for things on the other thread to catch up or you have any other ideas?))

((Literally zero other ideas. I think it's time to kill the thread.))
