I can't believe it, for the whole day there was something in me telling me to roll Douman's banner and I didn't really want to (because he and Columbus are the ones with rate-up and I hate both of them), so I pushed it off until now and just now thought, "Eh, why not? A single can't hurt me," so I rolled and Qin Liangyu popped out.
These things, man.

Honestly, I feel like if you approach it with the right mindset, gacha can be fun. For example, I've rolled a few characters who've sincerely brightened my day. Do these events only occur by chance? Yes (probably). Does it matter IRL? Well, no. (Actually, investing time into a game is probably more detrimental to IRL success than it helps, if you don't balance priorities right.)
It's kinda like meeting friends, to be honest, but for someone like me, rolling someone I like happens much more frequently than meeting someone who I can even chat with, not to mention someone who I feel a connection with.
So, anyways, thanks to JPEGs? xD

Then while we were introducing ourselves to each other, I said, "Isn't it weird how I know how you look and sound in real life but you guys don't know that for me" and they both gave me a blank look

Yeah I had a bunch of tickets that I always forget to use and Summer Kama looked pretty cute. She has a fun gimmick with trait stack damage but farming-wise she's very similar to Spishtar.
