She's stiff-armed with the body.
Offline
She gave a step back, but tried to find a way around.
Offline
She continues getting stiff-armed. He has better reflexes than his lazy manner suggests.
Offline
Well then, Germaine tried to grab the body now.
Offline
She just got whacked upside the head with it, but all attempts still fail.
Offline
"That's a very disrespectful thing to do, and I don't mean only to myself!"
Offline
"Oh no," he said in a pinched voice and very disrespectful tone.
Offline
"Now that's even more so!"
Germaine would have loved to do something a little more... violent perhaps. But she kept getting blocked.
Offline
The man doesn't bother to hide the fact he enjoys bothering her in any way possible. But he just started off in a sprint down the sidewalk, body and all.
Offline
If he was expecting Germaine to follow, then he guessed right. She didn't take more than a second to run after him.
"Hey!"
Offline
"Oi oi!" he called, as if racing after something, almost as if a kid running after an ice cream truck.
Offline
She was more focused on chasing him down than anything else. She wouldn't know at first glance what he was running after, if there even was something in the first place.
Offline
Well, it seems he has made the decision to run across the street right about...now.
Offline
Being pretty responsible, Germaine looks to both sides of the street to see if it was safe to run as well or not.
Offline
Nope, it's not! A huge series of cars running too fast just blared by as soon as he crossed it. Mind you, it's the middle of a street, without crosswalks.
Offline
Germaine quickly stepped back, running towards the corner of the street to cross safely at a crosswalk.
Offline
It's a long way, and when she does get past, the young man is nowhere in sight. Now, this could mean several things, but it depends on what Germaine thinks.
Offline
Frowning, she moved her eyes around, wondering in what direction the other could've gone.
She's not carrying the child's head in her arms by the way. It's probably safe somewhere else.
Offline
Yeah, the head is on the sidewalk somewhere probably.
Yeah, I wonder too?
Offline
No, she actually placed it somewhere else.
Germaine didn't want to stop her 'chase' just like that. She started off to a side, hoping she was going the right way.
Since the other man wasn't a regular human, would that justify the use of magic? Perhaps, but maybe not. In any case, she thought up a small spell that should tell her where the young man was/had gone.
Offline
She's free to do whatever she wants, the narrator supposes.
Offline
(Did she choose to do nothing :D?)
Offline
((She did cast the tracking spell, though idk if it'll work or not.))
((I meant to ask you about this thread lol but I forgot.))
Offline
(She thought it up xD that's not the same as casting iirc but ok)
It appears he's still somewhere nearby. Where? Hard to tell. The spell can only tell her he's in the vicinity.
Offline
((Some spells can be cast mentally though? Idk it's fine lol))
Germaine continued making her way on the sidewalk at a fast pace. Hopefully she was going in the right direction...
Offline
Across the street, which is where she is now, is the last remaining neighborhood before the town/city place came into a more dominant position in the overall view. It's not a small neighborhood, but it's one with multiple places of distinction and overall indications of inequality. Two parts are prominent--the wealthier side, and the poorer side.
Offline
Germaine adjusted her coat while she looked around, still going on. Some thoughts about the place probably crossed her mind. Well, she couldn't take long. She tried locating the other man once again. Or at least see if she was getting closer.
Offline
There's not much else the magic can give her. The man, not really being a man, likely has natural interferences that mess with magical tracking. In fact, it's quite possible that it allowed this much information to her in the first place, playing what it thinks to be a fun version of Hide-and-Seek. In either case, it's not visible to her at the moment.
Offline
Not fun to her.
Senses alert, she started off at a quicker pace again. Germaine visually scans the area for people matching the guy's appearance.
Offline
:'D.
No one's really around, either. Most people aren't even home, though a woman and a very young child are out having a walk to the nearby miniscule park.
