I believe your knowledge of this information for you guys will not be worth it. There is a high likelihood as of the moment that you guys will not play this game. When I saw it, I at least gained information about a game I will be playing. You guys will not get any sort of reward.

In truth I was more flabbergasted and just at a lost for words at an extreme level more than traumatized

my point still stands

Agreed. Stay away. Look at my reasoning and stay away

It's called PARANORMASIGHT
On this note though. I did like to mention the attention to detail of the map and the locations. Out of just curiosity, I'm checking the locations in the came to see if they had any irl counterparts. As of the moment, they do. The cool part is also that these locations don't look exactly one to one with their irl counterparts. Instead, they look slightly altered and less developed, since the game is set in the 1960s (iirc).
For example, some buildings or structures do not exist in the game, but in real life, they are there. In some cases, there is also vice versa, implying that the structures were probably taken down. That's pretty cool.
There are also things that are exactly one to one, which is what I thought to be cools as well. Things like the placement of the rode, as I already mentioned, but also locations of things like trees, street lamps, and notable landmarks. Sometimes, these things look exactly the same to their real life counterparts. There are also some buildings that also look one to one, down to window placement, implying that by now, these buildings are pretty old.
Actually on the talk of trees, I noticed that some of them hold the exact same shape as their real life counterparts. They have the a similar number of branches going in a similar direction, but they aren't as large in real life, implying that they grew over the years.
I'd be really surprised and impressed if they made the environment as accurate as possible to the time period where the story takes place. To the very point where they documented the age of surrounding buildings and structures to see if they would be present or not within the game.

There's also some goofy ahh plot holes(?) That I hope gets explained soon.
Touching on HSR once more, especially this topic...
The answer is... they kinda didn't???? 💀 I'll talk about it. And also do some theory crafting.
so, the plot hole(?) is...
Why is it a plot hole?At the beginning of the story on Jarilo-VI/Belobog, the main trio tasked with investigating the area is, for some mysterious reason, chased by guards with the intent to apprehend them. A fight ensues, and it seems like there are far too many guards for them to handle.
However, luckily, a previously met, morally ambiguous character, named Sampo comes to save the day. He throws multiple smoke bombs, causing the characters to fall unconscious.
Later on, the MC wakes up in a clinic in the Underworld.
The pieces to put together the puzzle (ig reading this part is optional)Some context before I get to the meat. Belobog is separated into two main areas. The overworld and the underworld. Due to events, these two locations are completely sealed off from each other. You really don't need to know much other than there is only one primary way between these two locations, and that is through an area that is blocked off by extremely powerful automatons.
We also learn that the MC's two companions had fallen unconscious due to the smoke bombs as well.
So, here's the big question. How did Sampo carry FOUR unconscious adults through smoke, through a battlefield through all sorts of security, and travel to the underworld, which is later on described by Sampo himself as a, "...a nightmare on the knees!" and in this context of the quote, he is talking about traveling between the two places by himself! I know that Sampo is a pretty big guy, but there's no way he could have carried 4 people through all of that and still be chilling. He'd definitely have to leave people behind or something. I'd think you could probably carry like, 2 people at max, and that's for really strong, big people. Not just because of weight, but simply body mass. Where do you put 4, fully grown people, on your body to carry?
Oh, did I say 4? Yes. I did mean 4. He also randomly grabbed another character as well! (which I will actually mention in my theory crafting segment later)
clearly, this sort of plot hole was never addressed. However, it was referenced a few times. We actually learn that Sampo travels between the overworld and underworld quite often, and he apparently doesn't use the primary route, the one guarded by loads of powerful robots. He uses his own methods. During a mission where the MC and the team need to return to the overworld after being in the underworld for a while, you can ask Sampo why they can't use the route he used to bring everyone to the underworld. His response? He dodges the question, and says that it would be dangerous and a problem.
Next, when we look to other character's opinions on Sampo, we see that many find him to be a very mysterious guy. Some don't like him since he is a sort of con artist, but some characters mention that they sense his actions contain no evil, and I've noticed that probably one or two times, he expresses concern (example is when Sampo talks about the MC and is concerned over his/her health while they are unconscious)
Our first interaction with Sampo is where he is hiding in a snow mound (Jarilo-VI is experiencing an ice age)... who hides in a snow mound?? He never even explains as to why he is doing so, he only starts to talk about Silvermane Guards, and how he is on the run from them. (You could take this as an explanation, but it's still weird he's hiding in a snow mound).
Multiple times in the story, Sampo runs away from the main group, only to show back up just when he's needed, or with backup (I already gave you an example with the smoke bombs). But another time is that he runs away right before a boss battle, and then shows up during the battle with backup, saying that he was getting a hunch to do so.
At the very end of the Belobog arc, we get an end credits type of scene where Sampo is talking to an unknown figure. Next, he does a 4th wall break, addressing the player directly.
Lastly, remember the smoke bomb incident I talked about? Remember the 4th character I mentioned? Conveniently, that character that he grabbed was the commander of the Silvermane Guards, the main fighting force in the overworld, and daughter to what's basically the queen of Belobog. The Silvermane Guards are tasked with the protection of all of Belobog, however, they have not travelled to the underworld for an entire decade, as there was an order to seal the two sides of the city off from each other, which has lead the underworld to experience loads of problems that much of the overworld beobogians would be unaware of.

part 2 of HSR theory crafting
putting together the pieces
In conclusion. If you don't wanna read all that. While the plot hole isn't addressed, it fits in a larger whole of the entirety of the character of Sampo Koski, a mysterious character that knows definitely much more than he lets on, and there is multiple sources of evidence to show that. I expect that as the story travels on, he may reappear in more important (or more subtle) roles. Or be apart of an organization that works similarly to him.Using all of these hints placed, I surmise that Sampo is wayy smarter than he looks, and practically nearly every interaction that he does is directly related to spurring the plot forwards. Not directly, but in a much more subtle way. Like giving everyone the little extra push needed, or placing everyone in the exact place that they need to be for the story to move towards the favorable outcome. Oftentimes, he hides his reasoning behind an excuse or an accident, but I think he does all his actions on purpose. Here are a few examples.
He is the first person for the main trio to meet, and while he is on the run from law enforcement (which he is for sure) he is also inadvertently giving information on the world around them. Something the MC's group really needs in order to learn what's going on. Additionally, they end up running into the Silvermane Guards he's running from. From there, he promptly leaves. While it does give the game an excuse for combat, could it be that Sampo lead them to the Silvermane Guard patrol on purpose? In the end, The Silvermane Guards gave them an escort to Belobog, the last bastion of humanity on the planet. Without them they'd be lost.
He grabs the Commander of the Silvermane Guards during the smoke bomb scene and brings her to a place where she has not visited, the underground. He "accidently" isn't paying attention to her, which allows her to escape, but this leads her to meeting with other important characters underground in which she would develop important relationships with that would lead to her growth. To show her the injustices underground, and her experiences there allows her to eventually fight for the entirety of Belobog, not just for half of it.
His transportation methods are very mysterious, and how he can travel between the overworld and underworld is still a secret. He says it's dangerous, yet he's able to do it while carrying 4 adults.
Twice in the story, he has "perfect timing" in fact, if I remember correctly, he's the only character that does in the entire story arc.
He does a 4th wall break. What else do I have to say.
Lastly, if you look at his design, what's your first thought? What is his element? I know you thought lightning. Every single aspect communicates that. The sharpness of his design, the purple color scheme (at least in this game lightning is conveyed mostly with purple). But his assigned element is actually wind. In this game, wind is usually associated with the color green. The only indicator that he could be wind is his green eyes.
Ain't no way this man is fooling me. He's emulating an element, some way or another, and misleading the audience.
I think also a dead giveaway is that he's a con artist, a scammer. What do con artists do best? They know to too misinform, lie, direct information and ideas elsewhere. He does it to the characters in game all the time, since we know he can break the 4th wall, how do we know he isn't doing it to us?

as per usual in Time homethread long post fashion. I have not proofread, and I have written out everything with no planning. So apologies for that. In addition since this is a more theory based post, I have definitely left some things out.
I tried to make it in a way where you it would be fine if didn't know the lore, but I may have failed in that part.
I should have added this post at the very beginning instead of doing it at the end. As per usual. I'm starting to see a pattern...

I am just dropping by to say that I wrote an entire song analysis a while back and was planning on making a huge post about love before cutting myself off just now, you are fine.
I dunno much about the game but it sounds like
-Galaxian-Sampo is kinda like Paymon from Genshin Impact? There seems to be a lot of overlap between them being in the right place at the right time and general speculation of them actually pushing the plot forward intentionally with their actions.
There is also a lot of overlap that I am seeing between him and a certain F/GO character lol but I won't go into details on that.

nah it may be too long for me that is
I guess so? I've never really paid attention to Paimon and Genshin Impact, since I never played it. But I suppose he is a mysterious guy. He's probably stronger than he lets on too.
I did see theories on possibilities that he can see the future. Which does have a line of reasoning, as there is an important character within the story that is always mentioned, but never seen, that can see the future. But I do not think he is that man. Plus, I believe his possible allegiances may not align with that character

I have conflicting feelings bout the new JJK season so far (I swear I'll talk about mistborn soon)
1. I'm caught up to JJK manga. All the way to the current. Here is some thoughts about it.
Don't like it too much. Loads of fighting and not a lot of sustenance in terms of telling a character's story or depth. In my opinion. I would be definitely open to people proving me wrong on that term though. Plus a more minor pet peeve for me is the fact there is literally no relevant female characters (besides Maki) and some characters kinda just feel not needed, especially currently, since so many of them have now fallen out of relevancy. Naturally, I already know what's going to happen in the arcs to come. I didn't really like reading Gojo's Past Arc either. If a character can be replaced with a pot or similar object, then they don't need to be a character.
2. While I do not like the story, I just can't help but love all the cinematography, music, direction, everything animated about the 2nd season. I love the dynamic shots, the music overlays, all that sorta stuff! I may be just throwing words about without knowing what they actually mean, but I love it!
Ahhh, I just wish there was any other shows or films that I would be interested in that would have the same type of style. Who decides that stuff? The director, yeah?

you know I never keep up with any anime actually.
