I downloaded Among Us again to see if it works and immediately got voted out for no reason
Not too relevant to the thread topic, just thought everyone should know.

Do you guys know how to open chat back up again? Do you have to login with an account?

Yep, you need to connect your google account or something I think. Google Play Games account? It'll let you change your username and use free chat (check the setting option in case you have the quick chat option activated instead of the other one)

So, what days are you guys free? I'll probably be a bit busy the rest of this week but I can set aside an hour or two if we decide on a time for this one. For the following weeks I can make in any time as long as it's in the afternoon (EST time). Just let me know and I'll try my best to be there.

@Time - Download an emulator that works for you, like Bluestacks. Though make sure to check out the site and stuff to make sure it's legit and won't mess up your computer space

I've had a good experience with Bluestacks so I recommend that one. It's the one I use to play Among Us. But I know there's other emulators out there too.

Hmm, I could make some free time tomorrow in the afternoon probably, but not on Sunday. I'll probably be free all next week though.
About GGaDmogus, the concept is fun but I've found it's quite hard to "roleplay" in-game without affecting the gameplay. So whatever you guys say, but it's not something I'd suggest. What we could do is try to "dress up" our crewmates as one of our characters, maybe?

but changing the gameplay is the fun part of roleplaying in amongus(to me, i am perfectly fine with just dressing up as our characters or just not doing any level of characters in among us)

amongus sounds fun to me but I haven't touched the game since 2020 so I'll go redownload it and get used to all the new updated content

As for time available I am down for whenever as long as there's a one day notice (Usually i'm free but my mom likes to do impromptu shopping trips and such so it's hard to say)

I might be free Thursday or Friday, but I don't know for sure. I'm assuming there might be another session too so forumers who are currently inactive (like Eliza) have a chance to join.

I think we could try roleplaying in-character for a few rounds at the very least, or otherwise dress up as them ~~the former totally not because my persona would just yeet himself out of the vent, which would make my job very easy lol~~

also settings-wise i don't have any preference(beyond. keeping it reasonable.) besides the comedy and terror invoked by the shapeshifter.

since nobody else seems to know what the new roles are:

shapeshifter means that if somebody blatantly kills in front of you and it's enabled that was probably the shapeshifter
engineer means that sometimes crewmates can vent
scientist means that there's somebody who knows when there's a body hitting the floor
guardian angels can stop the killers from shooting one person, iirc being able to change the person every fifteen seconds(i don't recall if this can be changed).

there's also a second game mode now: hide and seek. basically what it says on the tin.

Include the exclamation point (the code excludes it by default, so please copy and paste the URL) and login as a guest. The chat shouldn't be needed once everyone's in. I'll post the code here too if I'm hosting the room, though obviously there's no guarantee there.
I think I don't need to be there as host for the chat link to work, but if you'd like, please do test that and let me know if it doesn't work without a host there.
I do ask that whomever the host is stay on the live chat if possible in case any latecomers come in, so they can use the code when the room is open.
