"She wasn't a human, I can remember that much." Phantom replied. "Her ears looked kind of like a deer's, and she had hooves. So some sort of deer person, and..." he squinted, then went noticeably pink. "And, uh, that's it." he muttered.

Apollo had a smug grin, tilting his head slightly to emphasize his tone of voice.

"You can't leave out details from me! A deal is a deal, y'know."

Phantom internally grappled with himself, then came to the conclusion that he had made a deal with a god to get some of his memories back, so he should proooobably go through with it like he'd promised.
"She was," he admitted. "I was just a kid at the time, though. She was staying at my house. I think she was sick. There was a blizzard outside and we were snowed in. I can't remember much outside that, but...it's better than nothing."

Phantom shook his head. "Nothing. Running from the forest, the dog, Yume, and that she was in my house at one point. That's all I remember. I wish I could tell you more, really, but I can't."

Apollo, very childishly, clapped again. He seemed very happy with this discussion.

For a moment, perhaps Ruin's lips twitched upwards into a very soft smile. But who knows, maybe not.

Ruin questioned Phantom, "Why is it so great?"

Butterflies are starting to rest along Ruin's horns and tail.

Phantom shrugged. "For one thing, it gives you a sense of adventure. You never have much fun when you're cautious. Makes you feel alive, I guess." he rested his chin in his hand thoughtfully. "Can't imagine how boring life would be if you never took any risks."

"Risks, huh..." Ruin muttered under his breath.

Apollo said, "We should go on an adventure right now!" With that, he jumped up and then stood over Phantom. He asked excitedly, "Can I pick you up?"

"Lord Apollo? What are you doing?!" Ruin is starting to stand up. However, the butterflies are slowing him down.

Apollo stretched his wings out. Each feather looks really soft and pretty.

Even faster, Apollo asked, "CanIpickyouup?" His smile is very trustworthy. It's strange how his face is so charming, that it could almost be off-putting.

"LORD APOLLO, NOO!"

Poor Ruin, it was too late. Apollo's mind was set. It was time for Hide-and-Seek.

He gracefully scooped Phantom up in his arms, holding the guy close. Now would be a fun time to mention that wow Apollo has really strong arms, he really has good muscles. His face is also somehow even prettier up-close. Majestic.

"Close your eyes and count! No peeking!" Apollo told Ruin, running off with Phantom bridal style.

Phantom could probably hear Ruin groaning and then starting to count right before Apollo took off into the air. It didn't take long for the two of them to be high up. Like, extremely high up. Everything really does look small from the sky.

Thank the gods Apollo has strong muscles, because it would really suck to be dropped at this height.

Phantom tried his best not to shriek, both for his dignity and for the sake of Apollo's eardrums. The best he could do is cling desperately to Apollo's shirt and try not to look too far down.
