I'm a simple person, I see something and I just try to do it. And when it comes to art, well you see a lot of colors, so I just... dumped all my time into colors and color theory and bada bing bada boom, I can slap them around now? But I can't draw a good background to save my life. Or feet, I cannot draw feet

I want to get better at colors and color palettes, I use to just throw colors together but now that I'm starting to actually think about it I think my designs are getting way better

Feet are pain. I can draw hands, perhaps very well, but feet...feet are somehow worse.

I can also not draw backgrounds

I don't use references in general (bad habit I know) so it all comes from my brain and whatever lines my hand feels like making. Sometimes I'll search up references for specific part of the anatomy that I'm not sure how to draw and try my best to twist the shapes into whatever pose I'm going for

(I also practiced figure drawing for a few months so that probably helped too)

Aww thank you! The background came to me in a vision on a very boring 6 hour plane flight and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to recreate the effect that sleep deprived, turbulence driven me managed here.

Thank you! I think that's possibly the nicest thing anyone's said about my colorwork. I do really like the color pallet on this one though, everything just fits so well with each other and I really think I've improved since this time I didn't have to fiddle with the hue/saturation/brightness shifter for two hours just to get everything looking harmonious
