I do bring that up because the upcoming Imaginary Scrambles event (and pre-release campaign) is coming up in F/GO
On one end I don't think I need to roll, but at the same time I do seem to have good luck with Foreigners. Idk, I don't really have an opinion on Van Gogh in F/GO, but at the same time this event's song is one of Sunny's theme songs and I feel like that could maybe account for something
Also as a note, this event has pretty high story requirements so ig Echo gets to take a break lol. (I think the requirement was LB 4?)

I do also feel like Yuhuan's gonna betray me in this one lol, as is the cycle of stories in F/GO :-P

I agree in terms of it raising attention from the shock factor (or something like that, since Van Gogh is a very famous painter), but I feel like ultimately it is just detrimental to the cause. Yes, you got attention, but now you've made the general public remember/see environmental activists as lunatics who'll try to ruin an incredibly culturally significant painting to try to get their cause out there, even if it's obviously not true to environmental activists in general. It's kinda like how politics work. Like yes I now know your party because it will actively back a guy who'll direct insurrectionists to the U.S. Capitol and chant about hanging his vice president, but now that's my primary impression of your group/your cause, and I don't think that's doing you any favors garnering my vote

Obviously, the political comparison is a little different, but since environmental protection is so politicized in the U.S. (which I recognize is somehow not where all this took place), I feel like they are more similar than they aren't, which isn't pleasant but ah well :')

EXACTLY! This is why people think they're crazy, even if they have good intentions. They do stupid things like this that ultimately will only make people think more negatively of them.
Climate awareness isn't a bad thing in and of itself, I believe that much. It's just the way they go about it that's...just so infuriating

I find F/GO Hans Christian Anderson's NP lines legitimately inspiring.

Of course, he says this when humanity was literally incinerated...but y'know what? Put into our world, it makes sense to me. Yes, there is still a lot of suffering and pain out there. But I have it really good. No matter how many times I fail or am rejected, I really am privileged to have what I have, and it's up to me to make the most of it.

I think the only advantage of being one of the Top 4 Beauties in China over being one of the Top 4 Most Handsome Guys is that you get songs written in your honor, while the guys get convoluted rankings (and Changgong's song is literally in Japan rather than its country of origin lol)
All of them get tragic fates and get stuffed into video games though so that's all equal lol
though idk if dying from attention is necessarily tragic lol,,,

And it's because said guy was thinking about flirting with Yu or making some remark about her choice of clothing

And in turn he's not even that concerned about that, he just knows that if that happened Yu would've done something worse, so he does it instead to minimize the damage

Mental image of Yu burning down a country and Changgong just being extremely in pain but still trying to dissuade her while trying not to hurt her feelings, and at one point she stops burning down the country to chew him out on how he should be more assertive and should be trying to fight her rather than being Mr. Nice Guy and trying to reason with her peacefully
