I'm not looking to pick a fight here, but the initial post definitely didn't feel like there was an awareness of the latter, probably because of the lack of tonal indication. I'm not doubting that you know that rape is wrong; I'm just doubting whether you realized what the contents of your post were implying. In a similar situation in the future, I'd definitely suggest putting something that indicates that, since this time the posts surrounding it strongly implied (to me) that you thought that context was funny as well.

It's okay, sometimes homethread posts just be like that. I do want to reiterate that I don't see you any differently; I just wanted to point that out lol. And if I ever do similar things, let me know as well. I definitely don't want to accidentally say something inappropriate and have to realize it after going back and re-reading 3 years later or something like that
