Today I woke up inspired so I did a bit of reorganization in my F/DA doc.
I had ideas during my vacation jso I had to write that down.
I've got a bit more of inspiration to rp for that specifically so yay? Yay! I hope it lasts XD. As always tho I might focus more on art for the AU.

When I think about Yvonne I get really excited because I like her character and things related to her. Especially the fact that I gave her "astral" magic (I like to treat it as an element of sorts but I wouldn't really know how to classify it, plus it's my own definition) and I know it won't be as cool once I have to use it in-rp but even then it just seems to fun to me xD

Another interesting fact about Yvonne is that she was in the Clocktower from very long ago, even before Chronos began to live there.}
She's immortal (kinda?).

One last thing is that I want her backstory/circumstances to come up in the roleplay. They're not secret and I would gladly tell it to anyone who asked (outside of rp) but I really want Yvonne to be the one to tell others about that in GGaD.

I like how this means hierarchically speaking, Yvonne is basically everyone's senpai (excluding obvious individuals) but no one gives her the respect she deserves

Last week someone shared an image with me that said "don't design ladders!" and thinking back on it it's probably good advice, so I'll see if I can spice up some of my designs with asymmetry and extra stuff.
It's funny because most of the time I try hard to get symmetry in my designs xD

Yeah, asymmetry is cool. Though I wonder if symmetry and asymmetry can be used as character design "tells" like how more uniform characters may have more symmetry, while more rebellious ones can have asymmetrical designs, for example

Definitely! I think clothing and hairstyle, as parts of a character's appearance design, are very important in the overall character design and should tie in with what the character does/is/represents. It's the same for choice of colors a lot of times!

Though to be honest most of the time I design my characters based on what I think is cool.
Yeah I need lessons on character design lol even though I'm kinda proud of my current skill.

Same lol. I constantly fight a battle between "Oh this character design should tell about the character" and "nah this looks cool". I'm trying to look for an equilibrium.

Same with character abilities too.

I like to think that (so far at least) roleplaying in Quindex is good exercise for longer posts with a single character. There's a lot to be learned from what I'm seeing and it is definitely a change of pace from GGaD (given that I mostly roleplay with one person from here lol).
I still get overwhelmed when there's too many posts from too many people in a scene. I've never been good at public threads really because there's something about trying to figure them out that just sends my mind into a spin and blocks me from thinking up a reply.
Also one thing I still am having trouble getting over is the fact that I need to think on my responses. I can't just up and reply right after reading a reply RP post, I need some time to think of a structure that will make sense when I type it.
In general it's super nice to see other roleplaying styles than the ones I'm used to. I hope I can apply learned things from this experience to GGaD ^^

Just wanted to point out that in that sense Quindex and GGaD are wildly different from the roleplays in DRPU as in that server I mostly roleplay in one-liners. It's a more spontaneous rp that imo really lets me get into the character and definitely lets me show more in-the-moment reactions, feels more like a real conversation but lacks the literary quality of roleplaying in paragraphs.

I guess I just wanted to mention that aspect. I like both kinds of roleplay and I can't say if one is better suited to me than others, but both are definitely interesting experiences.

I'm thinking of Mega as a nickname now tbh.

By the way I should probably have said this earlier but it's for a Dion of another universe. Looking for a word (most likely a noun) that's short and will fit him as a replacement for his real name.
