Butterflies are starting to rest on Ruin's horns, which may be getting a little in Phantom's way near Ruin's face.
"What kind of flowers are they?" Ruin asked after a bit, trying to not sound curious. His voice comes out flat.

"They're a few kinds." Phantom said, rearranging them on Ruin's head so as not to disturb the butterflies too much. "Buttercups, mostly, but there are a few daisies, too."
Offline
"Hm."
A few butterflies fluttered over onto the flowers in Phantom's hair. A few bees are crawling on Ruin's neck, politely searching for flowers.
Ruin doesn't seemed bothered by the increasing amounts of insects inching around on him.

"Just so you know, at this rate you're going to be completely covered in bees."

"That's fine, they're harmless," Ruin said quietly. "I'm used to it."
Apollo said in a find manner, "Little critters always follow him around! Isn't that cool?" Apollo is letting a butterfly rest on his hand, holding it up and examining it with a delighted smile on his face.
"They're so pretty," Apollo continued with.

"Butterflies are pretty..." Phantom mused, mostly to himself.

Apollo blurted out without thinking much about it, "I wanna be a butterfly! So free!" He gave a slight giggle of a laugh, his face lighting up. For the moment, warmth and goodness radiated from his expressions as if he was a living ray of sun. His soft grin was beautiful, relaxed. In fact, one would think he was perhaps not even real, that someone this beautiful and wholesome would only exist in an otherworldly universe.
From Apollo's words, the edge of Ruin's lips twitched subtly, ever so slightly contorting his face into a brief grimace. It had gone by so quickly that perhaps it didn't happen.

Phantom looked up at the sky, thinking. "Maybe if I was a butterfly, I..." he trailed off, then shook his head and brought himself back down to earth.

Apollo hummed a little before asking Phantom, "What were you going to say?" He looked over. His naturally dark blue eyes were now shot into a glowing, golden type of color, intense for such a laid-back person. Apollo still had his content, relaxed expression, so his eyes strike out as odd and different and almost scary with how impassioned they seem.

"Uh, I was...just going to say that if I was a butterfly, I might be able to find my old memories. It's a stupid thought, though. Being a butterfly wouldn't help that."
Offline
Apollo nodded in an understanding manner.
"Ah, I see. Memories are hard." He looked back to the butterfly on his hand.
"I wonder if butterflies remember anything."
Offline
"Maybe they do." he smiled, but he looked distracted as he put a few more flowers in Ruin's hair. Something was bothering him, that much was obvious.

The butterfly on Apollo's hand fluttered away. Apollo's gaze lingered on it for a little bit, watching it until he couldn't see it past the leaves of a bush.
Apollo, fickle as ever, jumped up and stretched. He intentionally made a loud yawning noise, which of course made him sound silly. He also looked silly as he made his stretching exaggerated, bending backwards and touching the ground with his fingertips, making an arch with his back. He pushed his feet off the ground and went into a handstand.
"It's sooooo quiet," Apollo complained with a grin. He flipped over, making an attempt to get back on his feet. Unfortunately, his hands got caught and tangled in his long, luxurious braid of his hair. Apollo yelped and flopped over onto his stomach, making a pretty hard thud!
Ruin tensed and opened his mouth to say something, but was caught off by Apollo's laughter.

Phantom looked down at Apollo, looking mildly concerned. "You good?"
Offline
"I'm a million times great!" Apollo said, jumping up. He flexed his arms and puffed out his chest, boasting proudly, "Such a small fall would never defeat a wondrous individual as myself!"
Offline
Phantom raised his eyebrows. "Sure." he replied.
Offline
"I wanna dance! Do you know how to dance?" Apollo seemed a lot more energetic now.
Offline
"Uh," Phantom's brain jammed temporarily. "Uh, no."
Offline
"I'll teach you! All of it is very easy!" Apollo grinned, gesturing for Phantom to come over to him.

(Phantom: *bisexual screaming*)
Phantom uncertainly drew closer to Apollo.

Apollo happily took Phantom's hand, pulling him closer.
"My L... Apollo, would you like me to play music?" Ruin made a face when he informally said Apollo's name, as if it physically left a weird feeling in his mouth. Ruin didn't seem to enjoy saying Apollo's name so casually. Apollo's eyes lit up.
"Yes please! Piano would be fine."
Ruin reached into his bag and shuffled around into it for a good minute. He pulled out a phone and felt it's sides for the on button. The teen muttered into it, and after a moment, piano music played.
Apollo explained to Phantom, "We can start with some simple ballroom to warm up, but after that we can do whatever and free style! Tell me when you're ready!" Apollo looks ecstatic.

Phantom's face had gone pink again, if ever so slightly. "Uh, yeah, I'm ready."
Offline
Apollo took the lead and pulled Phantom into a simple waltz.
"We can just do a box for now. Wouldn't want to get too complicated, would we?" Apollo smiled. He went slow, and then explained where for Phantom to step.
Offline
Phantom tried his best to follow Apollo's directions, but being a bit flustered he kept stumbling a bit. "Sorry." he muttered.

(^^accurate representation of when a girl I was talking to randomly pulled me into a dance and I almost fell over^^)

"You're doing wonderfully, it just takes some time and practice," Apollo said in an attempt to reassure Phantom. "Would you like for me to count the steps? Or should I go slower?"
Offline
"Uh, I don't care." Phantom said quietly, staring determinedly at the ground.
Offline
Apollo moved his pacing a bit slower for Phantom.
"You're doing very well! Surely you must've danced before?"
Offline
"No, I...I don't think so..." Fuzzy memories were swirling around his head, but none of them were clear enough to distinguish. This really did feel familiar...
Offline
"I almost can't believe it's your first time," Apollo said, laughing a bit.
