After reaffirming that Raez is not ticklish, Wiley redirects his efforts on Dion.
Rai doesn't know what's going on in the back, he's too busy being careful driving.
Offline
Dion jerked back awake and twisted his arm to push the chemist away.
Wiley's just poking his right side, correct?
Offline
Wiley is right next to him, so he finds it difficult to do so.
Offline
A leg is added to the effort.
"STOP IT!"
Offline
Raez, surprisingly, does not wake up.
"Tickle tickle," Wiley muttered annoyingly, not stopping.
Rai actually is the one to jerk slightly, but he keeps a firm hold on the steering wheel.
Offline
Dion almost doesn't feel the tickles, but he's uncomfortable because of the physical contact. He keeps on pushing away. He's also scowling. "NO!"
Is that a tear in his eye?
Offline
Wiley moves his hand to the other's neck instead. Wiles no.
Offline
Dion cried out loud, a sort of sound that wasn't quite of pain.
His neck was, well, soft. But Wiley's hand can touch a strip of metal on the back side od Dion's neck.
Offline
Wiley briefly pokes that but is mostly just trying to get Dion to laugh.
"What are you two doing?" Rai muttered tensely.
Offline
It's not really working, it seems. The brief puffs of forced air that Dion is giving off are the closest things to a laugh.
He tried to punch Wiley with his left hand.
"S...Stop!!!"
Offline
Wiley made a hurt noise but didn't stop. Hopefully Dion didn't punch too hard, unlike Raez and Rai he has little combat experience and has fragile bones.
Offline
Well, you know, when bones break they heal back stronger than before.
Dion continues to slap Wiley's face with metal while still complaining and squirming.
Offline
How is Raez still sleeping??? He must've not slept for a day or something.
Rai gets off the highway because yes.
Wiley's probably already concluded Dion isn't ticklish but finds it too fun annoying the other to stop.
Offline
He was just whining and kicking by then, just jostling the back seats in general. Anything to get the other to stop touching him like that.
Offline
Raez isn't waking up.
Okay that sounded ominous but the narrator just means, he's not gonna wake up until someone explicitly tries to wake him up.
Wiley's just snickering.
Rai's probably mentally sighed more than 20 times this past minute or so, but anyways, they're cruising down a street now.
Offline
Wiley is a bully >:/
Okay so may it's an overreaction or something, but Dion was actually crying.
Offline
Rai's considering pulling over to give Wiley a look or whatever is suitable, but he's the kind of driver who can't look back or he feels like he's butchering safety procedures.
Wiley's just switching to the other arm.
Dude, okay, but like...
"Raez," Rai said, switching to that route. "Raez?"
Offline
He's never sitting next to Wiley in a car again.
Well, he was aware that it was an useless effort, but Dion still tried to push the other away with increased violence. Which isn't really that much.
Offline
"Raez, can you hear me?" Rai said with slight emphasis, like he was talking through a broken microphone.
Apparently he can, since a few moments later Wiley's stopped by a hand on both of his wrists, Raez looking slightly bleary but freakishly alert otherwise.
Offline
Dion stopped squirming and tried to punch Wiley in the face repeatedly. His face is very panicked.
Also, he slid the goggles onto his forehead to clear away the tears.
Offline
Raez pulls Wiley back enough to avoid the punches, his expression somewhere between actively conflicting and blank.
Rai considers teaching Raez to drive in the near future so next time they travel, they can split the group into 2 cars.
Offline
"K-KEEP HIM AWAY!" whined Dion to Raez, pressing himself against the door and crossing his arms.
Offline
Rai was glad he had on headphones even though nothing was coming out of them.
What did it look like Raez was doing? Perhaps something else? But Wiley has already gone limp in the other's arms. Raez is much stronger than him.
Offline
Seeing that helped Dion to calm down some. More than just a bit, actually.
"Are we there yet?" he asked tentatively, though still with a subtle demanding tone in there.
Offline
"I mean..." came the response from Rai. "Take the biggest guess."
Offline
"I'm asking for a reason!" came the reply.
Offline
"A reason???"
Offline
"Yeah! Because I don't know," Dion said. "So, is it far?"
Offline
Heree comes the smirk. "Depends on what you define as far."
Offline
"Far as in, not close?"
