Bought a new game. Really looking forward to playing it when I have time.

Though I do feel bad about not playing other games and stuff. I haven't really been having much fun with some like XCOM. Like I've gotten so familiar with the repeat nonimportant missions (and even some of the important ones) that its become more drawling. Sorry @galaxian if you are reading this

Nah, don't worry. I get it. Grinding is hard. xD I'm glad for even just that bit of time where you shared your gaming experience with XCOM. I hope Urdim was at least somewhat fun to watch as well (or whatever else having to do with him)

Your testing administering time seems later than mine. Did you start at 9 (in your time) or something? Or did you send that right before the proctor took away your phone/whatever device you used to send that post?

Yeah, I did. That's what it said on the exam booklets and proctoring instructions here, too, so I didn't know that California was different. Pretty cool. (I read on the exam instructions that in Alaska, they need to start at 7. Real tough, lol.)

I think I might do this "---" thing to separate topics now if I'm using the same post.

I'm in the beginning area of said new game I've bought, and I have a choice to select multiple characters into my party. Its really tough doing so because all of their backstories seem super interesting. Yeah I can just go though a second playthrough but I estimate it will take a long time to finish the first. I can't believe I'm already thinking of second playthrough builds/team comps as well.

Oh, the game I've bought and am so looking forward to playing is Divinity: Original Sin 2

Ah, sometimes it's just relaxing to kick back and play some video games.

I just got finished with the "tutorial area" of the first game. That took about 30 hours in total, but yeah! At least I can respec my character to something more desirable.

Totally random but as of recent at least when it comes to homework, I've found that fantasy music helps me focus more than the other stuff I've tried. Like stuff you'd hear a bard play in a tavern.

I'm in a thinking mood again.

I sometimes wish I naturally get really interested in reading stuff so I could just read a much of books on philosophy or something. That stuff really interests me, but the reading part? Not so often. I suppose getting really interested with reading is just something that takes practice.

Or maybe I just watch videos instead. If thats a thing. Or maybe listen to podcasts. Who knows.

Ah. I love it when the predicted hw/study section I was working on was expected to be 4 hours of work but it turned out being 7, eliminating the time I had set aside for studying more work.

Plus I have to attend a ceremony of sorts, so there goes my evening to study/work. But at least I'll be able to take a break. I think it's kinda just unfortunate timing that this ceremony had to be during crunch time for school.

Looks like I'll be staying up late again. Which should be something quite normal for crunch time, right?

Ok this ceremony/party made me realize that at least in one part of my life, I am surrounded by quite extraordinary people.

One of my childhood friends, while already an amazing student and such, turns out to be an amazing musican. His band was amazing.

Others I know sounds seem like real geniuses. Others filled with ambition and have done some pretty crazy stuff. It's really inspiring.

But the thing I noticed was all of them are really... normal.

It makes me hope that by extension I'm extraordinary too. I wouldn't know, I think.

I realize that I am posting very late for my time zone and should go to sleep. I did just spend as soon as I got home to just know doing hw.

Do you guys remember when I kept on saying sci fi was cool

That was a long time ago, when we still were on the wiki.

But anyways, I think now fantasy is cooler than sci fi. Isn't it weird that there's (in my opinion) a lot more fantasy stories than sci fi? Is it maybe because with fantasy settings there can be more of a bases to build off of due to many having a sitting somewhat (besides the magic and all) similar to the past?

But yeah, fantasy is cooler than sci fi.

Sci fi is still pretty cool though.

I think both sci-fi and fantasy are really cool. I guess maybe I'm more used to fantasy because of my roleplaying in GGaD, but like, it also has sci-fi to some extent? xD

Tbf sci-fi is more of a subgenre of fantasy
