GalaxianExplosion wrote:

Second question is asking y'all what colors you think represent yourself. Maybe give me one to three (preferrably two or three), and preferably add a hex code/RGB code or picture of the specific color, too. I could obviously just use the hex code, but that's a little more work for me, and I'm "busy" (lazy) and don't really wanna do the visual part myself.
I can kinda guess which colors you all would go with based on our personas' POV colors, but use of POV colors isn't as prevalent in the first place nowadays. Also, their colors may not represent us, if that makes sense. For instance, GGaD!Galaxian's POV color is #38acec, which is this:

(stole the image from the first website that popped up with the hex code search, by the way)

And I do love the color. But strictly speaking, it doesn't represent me. I chose the color because it was what I used back in the forums, for both my forum persona and for GGaD!Galaxian, because it reminded me of their personalities, and also because it was the most fitting color out of those allowed by the forums. And at that time, it represented my personality as well to an extent (due to them being my personas). So, me currently using it is once again a nod back to the forums. But it wouldn't necessarily be what I would choose now.
Anyways, feel free to ignore this, but I'd love to hear from you guys about it. It'd be pretty cool to me.

-Galaxian-

Replying quite late to this, I've been thinking and I think I'd have to go with a dark red or maroonish color like the one I use for GGaD!Specter.
It's funny, maroon/red isn't my favorite color but I like it a lot, and aside from that I can't really give a reason for why I'd choose it over other colors I like better, like yellow or pink.
Maybe because it's easier to see? Pink is too light and it's more aesthetic than something I'd use for writing, and yellow, I don't think it'd look very good in writing unless it's inthe golderod color in this forum. Even then, i don't think it fits me quite well.

Summary: I'd choose color #800000 because, why not?

Same, my extended one is big, but people are even worse there, so we don't interact lol.

@Specter - Cool cool, I guessed maroon or pink for you, though I think I was a little off on the latter. (I thought you'd lean towards dark pink rather than lighter shades.)
I also just realized Xuqiao and Specter (in GGaD) probably share a POV color,,, I should probably change that jfsidjfojo

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

In the gacha I have good luck, but IRL I have pretty bad luck
I was doing volunteering today and bumped into leadership lol
Apparently they need to do one hour of volunteer work per school year. And I will admit, I do dislike leadership, but like, why bother?? If just one hour??
It's not like they care for their members staying safe during a pandemic lol; most of these people did not wear masks (which is typical of kids, it seems, in in-person school especially).
Anyway, I thought I was whiney, but the girls from leadership were even more so. They complained about every single inconvenience. "We have to count to 30 for these???" Mate, I counted to 40 about 50 times today for the past 3 hours, and even I haven't complained yet.
Anyhow, it's always funny how other kids skedaddle out the door as soon as the ending time hits. And I thought about character dev and plot while I was repeatedly counting, so that's there. The ideas are probably bad lol but when do I make good decisions

I love how in the prequel novelization for the fight between Obi-Wan and Anakin, Obi-Wan was described as having such a deep connection with the Force as he skewers his former apprentice's legs, while in the movie version it mostly looks like he's looking at a baseball as he swings his bat

Hey y'all, I haven't made this sort of post in a while because no one likes extended negativity.
But you know, with all the recent shootings going on, please stay safe. It's never wrong to act out of an abundance of caution. Avoid large crowds, ignore provocative people, keep an eye out. It's not worth it otherwise.
That's about it. Thanks.

I'm not too sure if the information is 100% valid, but apparently Tushan Xiao Hongniang has decided who'll act Honghong and Dongfang Yuechu.
Okay, lemme get the latter out first. Gong Jun'll be the actor for Dongfang Yuechu, apparently. I don't know him well. So I won't really say anything 'bout him. He, uh, doesn't quite give me Dongfang Yuechu vibes, but we'll see.
For Honghong, though, it's Yang Mi.
(*puffs*)
I guess they're just trying to get in the "beautiful" part.
Her acting skills are,,, jfdiofjsfiods xD I wonder if her acting in this film will make me laugh (at her, that is, unintentionally) or drop the film.
I don't know what to say xD, the actor list was always bound to be disappointing but wowie

Idk, it's a decent team comp, but it might be a bad idea lol. We shall see.
It's not that stally, though, so maybe I'll at least lose fast.
In my defense, in all these Heroic Spirit Swordmaster Duels, I've only lost like one soul so far, which is good considering that it's me.

It's like, "Or you could just join Chaldea, dumb-dumb."

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

I was away for the entire day to do homework but forgot to check in to say that. Or rather, I didn't forget, but rather chose not to, and the entire day passed. Hey, can't call me a liar if I correct myself immediately.
Anyhow, I'll be gone for the rest of today as well, until I get my stuff in. I literally have 2 assignments left, and then it's finals! This is really good for me.
But then I have application stuff. And email stuff. A whole buncha email stuff. Real fun.
Anyway, let's see how my motivation is lol. My motivation for Spanish died for the entire day, so I really need it back. If it's still dead, I'm gonna go to bed early. F/GO's doing maintenance anyways, so I can't login.
Good luck to anyone still in school, taking finals, et cetera! I believe in you!

I like how YouTube always decides to show me functional families
Then again, I guess most families are functional, which is a good thing. But there do seem to be a fair share of unfunctional ones going 'round :/, wish there weren't so many

Anyway, it's nice to see those functional families. It's kinda like watching pets; I'll likely never really have one (in terms of extended family), so seeing others happy is really fulfilling

Welp.

Also why did I write "Introducción al [name that should not have a definite article in front of it]"?
I made this presentation during the daytime :') I should not have been this bad. but also I keep forgetting "escuchar" is "to listen" lol I'm sooo bad
Then again, I guess that nighttime me does specialize in finding errors, since it's the golden time for existential crises, and also pointing out how bad I am at art. (I give up on showing art if I don't manage to send it before that time lol)
It's weird, since it doesn't really work for writing. Maybe I'm just so bad at writing that my brain can't really register what's going on, but for art it's the visual component lol

Servant coins update! (And event lol story skipping time for Saber Hokusai! *chest pain from perfectionism instincts*)

The welfares seem to be missing bond coins...??
And also I have so many Caenis and Nursery Rhyme coins lol (from them being NP 3)
Anyhow, I see those coins for Elizabeth Bathory, Carmilla, and Marie :') better not let Salieri see the third coins~ or else he'll probably murder me~ (same for D'Eon too, though maybe they wouldn't murder me? I'm trying not to get my hopes up lol)

I'm still wondering who to think about for a Castoria catalyst. It's either Nagesh or Galaxian lol

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Okay yeah the system of getting to 120 is definitely a scam to get people's money
Just looking at the ember requirements. And those are the high-level embers.
And then look at Servant coins needed. Bond 15 on a Servant (well, SR or SSR, anyway) isn't enough to get those coins.
So this is probably a trap to get us to roll more copies of a Servant and to spend more time farming in general lol. I'm not surprised, but seriously???

I haven't actually researched append skills, but iirc Lanling Wang has one such skill with anti-Assassin damage boosts, and I know that it's supposed to counter Yu or something like that, but instead all I can imagine is Osakabehime feeling slightly more scared of him as soon as the update drops
I wonder if Changgong has any relationship with Yan Qing in F/GO too, since that might be funny as well.

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

My school sent a letter about it earlier today (it has a habit of sending a newsletter for every shooting that appears on the front pages of the news), and ironically enough, it reminded us that viewing media related to the incident will probably be upsetting.
And I know it's a valid thing to remind us about, but still, it kind of just makes me feel, as usual, that this sort of thing has become so normal that we can just ignore it and focus on ourselves, and it'll probably never happen to us--and maybe the U.S. is a country where change takes forever to happen, but I can't help but feel that this sort of self-prioritization is why the change is going so slow in the first place. Like maybe we should be getting more upset so that we have less of these events to get so upset about. But I dunno, reality's hard, and it might be just me. And I'm kinda a hypocrite, anyway. I can't get much done.

To be fair college matching systems are completely broken.... I really wouldn't take them too seriously (assuming this is one of those things where you input your stats)
There's just so much to take in account for in the college application process that it's impossible to accurately predict anything; especially so if the schools you're looking at have "holistic" admissions (which most schools do)

Re: Cosmic Dim. (V. XVIII), You're Correct but You're Not Right

Does a form count as an excerpt of sorts? Probably not, but it's been such a long time since I submitted a form that I don't really mind. I'm proud (kinda, mostly of my past self for getting a bunch of the work already done though), and that's what matters, or something like that.
Anyways, the actual important part is that I finally stop breaking the rules...for one character. Let's see if I can ever get Xolani's and Chiyoko's forms done (and probably the forms of many other characters that I'm forgetting lol). How many years will it take? I wonder. I'm betting on a decade, give or take. (:

----

@Time - I swear, I put this homethread on hold for that excerpt, and I also swear, I got part of it finished xD. But I couldn't finish it to a quality that I'd consider postable. So...I'll get 'em next time? Maybe? (I definitely need to practice more, but I don't think college application essays will necessarily target what I need to practice, lol.)
Putting aside me not getting something promised done (again), I wanted to say that I really appreciate what you said there. It's really encouraging, so I'll try my best to eventually scrounge something readable together for y'all, even if I dunno when that'll be. Thank you for the encouraging words, and hopefully I don't disappoint too much then :').

@Autumn - Yeah, I understand that, though I clearly didn't indicate that enough when I made that post initially.
I guess it is kind of annoying, because I don't like too much unpredictability, but hopefully I'll be able to get into a good college at least :'). That post was mostly intended to self-deprecate rather than take those matching systems seriously
