I wonder if HPA Apollo's backstory would be similar to DRV2 Akane's backstory, aka I don't exactly have Apollo's backstory thought up but I think he would be similar to Akane in some ways, like having a lot of siblings and growing up extremely poor to the point of watching some of his siblings die from disease or starvation

Okay but looking more into stuff about DID and alters, Malaika herself is an alter, as well as her constantly fronting without a break/refusing to switch out with a different alter is unhealthy/harmful to herself. I'm not exactly sure if this would be the same with a different alter being co-conscious along with Malaika, it probably wouldn't be as bad but still be tiring/mentally draining for the system. I think? I need to research more on this part (and obviously other parts of this disorder)

I think in the beginning of the RP, Lovelyn would probably switch with Malaika a lot, but would act like she herself is Malaika since Malaika doesn't want people to know about her having DID? There would still be different mannerisms, but Lovelyn would act very similar to Malaika during those times. As well, Lovelyn would probably be co-concious a lot when Malaika is fronting and would communicate a lot with Malaika to make sure Malaika is okay. Malaika doesn't have most of her childhood memories other than that she got disowned, while Lovelyn and Bluebell (another protector alter, male) have Malaika's childhood memories

The child alter's name is Anabel, and I wonder if she would get extremely stressed if accidentally fronting, because I think she would probably think she would get in trouble since she sorta knows Malaika doesn't want people to know about the whole DID thing. Anabel doesn't know about Malaika's trauma, but Anabel is highly aware that she is an alter, although not exactly understanding fully of it since she's, like, eight. I think Anabel would only sometimes co-concious, like not often but often enough that Malaika and Anabel know each other very well and that Anabel understands that she shouldn't try to front because it could be dangerous depending on the situation

And then there's the prosecutor alter, Lilith, which basically could try to act like Malaika but ultimately has the goal of hurting the system and/or Malaika's friends (physically and/or emotionally). Very rarely would ever front, mainly because one of the Main Three would take over so that no one gets hurt and so Lilith doesn't damage any of Malaika's relationships

With switching, the fastest alter switch would be between Malaika and Lovelyn, being almost immediate switches, as well as they share consciousness most of the time. Bluebell's and Leaf's switches take a bit longer, usually one to two minutes, and they usually just stay co-conscious and let Lovelyn deal with bad situations (mainly because Lovelyn is very good at acting like Malaika while still protecting Malaika). With Anabel and Lilith, the switching out would more than likely be gradual, with a long period of spacing-out type dissociation between the switch.

For Malaika, switching with any of the alters would obviously mess with her memory depending on if she is co-conscious or not. If Malaika isn't co-conscious or is switched with Anabel or Lilith, she would think she either fell asleep or passed out/it would be like falling asleep to her (although physically she did not fall asleep). Even with being co-conscious, she probably would have a spotty memory, so whoever was fronting would have to communicate of what happened

Due to memory loss, Malaika and the other alters all journal what happens to make the whole memory problem less stressful, as well as to document switching and stressors/triggers to make an accidental switch with Lilith less likely to happen

The Main Three can all communicate with Malaika and each other from the mind space. Lovelyn does this the most. Anabel usually doesn't communicate at all unless co-conscious, and even then it's usually with Malaika or Lovelyn (once in a while she'll talk to Bluebell and Leaf, but it's pretty rare). Lilith never communicates directly with Malaika, but rather other alters (although this is rare).

I feel like once Malaika let's it be open that she has DID, other than that she would be better off mentally (since I would assume she would be actually getting help/therapy), I feel like the Main Three would switch out more, as well as Lovelyn would definitely be less stressed and actually be able to be herself instead of Malaika

I feel like Bluebell would pull his hair back into a high ponytail when fronting. I think he would have a very confident type attitude, but not exactly be arrogant or rude to other people. Like, he would be very friendly and talkative, kinda skipping over the whole teenage awkwardness. Kinda like Kel from Omori? He would be kinda that stereotypical teenage boy and like sports and gets riled up easily, kinda energetic and such. I can see Bluebell kinda having Older Brother type vibes? I think he would get along well with Alma

Lovelyn naturally has a slight American Southern accent, idk why but I feel like she does. But due to the whole "having to pretend to be Malaika" thing, it's not noticable until after Malaika gets help. I feel like Lovelyn would adore Germaine, they're both similar in some ways

I feel like most of the alters share the same religion/beliefs as Malaika and respect her title as the Ultimate Cult Leader. Bluebell is atheistic agnostic but respects Malaika and doesn't try to undo her work. I mean, in general, the Main Three all help Malaika with the work load that comes with being an Ultimate since it's kinda Malaika's "job"/"living" and Malaika already has to take up extra jobs for money since she lives alone/was disowned

RIP Malaika, she has, like, two or three jobs and school, added with the whole mental health problems

Kinda also RIP Alma because of his psychosis and also having to take two or three jobs on top of school as well

Also RIP to Apollo for the same reasonings

I kinda like to headcanon that the longer away from when Echo was brought back to life, the more "less mortal"/human-like she becomes and slowly gains back her original body traits before being killed/re-alived. Like, her skin starts to become icy again while her tears are lava-hot, that kind of thing

That being said, I want to redesign her slightly again to look more like Francis/Favian/Faust, as well as to add in traits that Favian has to Echo (although she still looks a lot like her mother)
