This is a female widow skimmer which I'm using for reference (for obvious reasons). I've seen them around near my friend's house and they're very pretty imo

Around here we get these two-inch rainbow dragonflies and they're way better than butterflies because they eat mosquitoes

No like the colored portion of its wings looks like a butterfly's wings
Idk why evolution would make it like that, since dragonflies are basically apex predators in the insect world while butterflies are more like the second level,,, lol
Well butterflies help spread pollen around, so even though that's a mood, I gotta say the comparison is a little unfair. Flowers pretty xD
