Oh ho how do I explain my thinking at the time
I went by Galaxian one year before I joined the forums, but the road to the nickname was rather long, I think. It had its roots 3 years before I joined the forums
Essentially I was a really big space fan when I was little (still am, but now I feel like I'm not smart enough to be a real one xD), and I really liked thinking in scopes that were bigger than what we can see. Galaxies and universes, essentially. I especially liked the Chinese word for the Milky Way galaxy, so that was basically what I liked naming myself as to myself (Yinhe, but Yinhexi or Xingxi is what I call Galaxian because I feel that to be the more accurate for him xD).
But you know, when it came to English, I didn't really like calling myself "Galaxy," and I didn't like "Galactic" much either, so it was when I came across Saint Seiya and one of the ultimate attacks of a character there, Gemini Saga's/Kanon's Galaxian Explosion, that I started using Galaxian Explosion as the English variation of my nickname. It was supposed to refer to how I was a Saint Seiya fan while still referring back to what I call myself in Chinese xD.
Essentially, "Galaxian" is kind of a stolen word based off an attack in one of my favorite series to convey the alias I identify with more in Chinese, if that makes any sense. But over time I've identified more and more with "Galaxian" as an alias, too.
How about your nickname? How'd you come up with that?

So you might realize that I'm not creative when it comes to nicknames, uh....
I didn't want to use my real name, so what did I do? I chose a nickname of my real name for my nickname. Big brain moment, I know xD

Nah xD, I knew I was gonna go with the nickname for a long time, so I spent a month pondering it. For a while, I'd been pondering going by Cosmic instead of Galaxian, but then I decided that decision would feel like I was trying to bloat my own sense of self-importance, so I decided against it. (That's way Cosmic is a Flip Side persona's name xD.)
Oh, so I did remember correctly xD. Well, I feel like Eliza is a really pretty nickname. Though, not gonna lie, it would've been weird if anyone decided to call you by your (presumable) name.

Uhh...yeah. Compliments for my name is not something I experience xDD
It's pretty close, actually. I usually pronounce it as "Ee-lie-zah" but I've heard it pronounced "Eh-lie-zah"
I don't really have a preferred pronunciation, my name is pronounced in two different ways half the time anyways xD so it's fine
