Rai just looks at him with a :/ expression.
Offline
((you really want him to get into the car though?))
Seems like Dion's firm in his decision...
Offline
"I guess have fun walking the twenty miles?" Rai tries to find a paper he can write the address on--he's not risking losing Dion in this city--but he doesn't have one.
Offline
The mention of walking twenty miles is almost enough to make him reconsider his decision, but he's still not turning around.
Offline
Rai gives up. "You have a phone number?"
Offline
"No, but just tell me and I'll remember or something."
Offline
"Nope, you're going to accidentally forget or something and I am then going to regret the decision. So, in conclusion, I refuse. Nope." Rai stuffs his right hand into his pocket.
Offline
"So what?" Dion let his arms slide to his sides. "I'll just not go."
Offline
Dion isn't winning a fight where Rai's not fighting in the first place.
"Alright." His other hand went into his pocket. He tossed Dion the keycard, and then stepped back slightly. "Seeya then."
Offline
He turned and caught the card, looking at Rai with an expression of disbelief. "You're not really going to leave me like this, right???"
This... this makes no sense.
Offline
"Did you forget the room number?" Rai's just neutral in tone and expression as per most usual instances.
Offline
"No, but..." He grimaced a little. "Okay. As long as the car isn't also white inside, I can go in with my eyes closed."
Offline
Wow, Rai can win a fight without fighting.
Rai shifts around in his pocket. "You can take these goggles if it helps you any. It shifts the colors so you can't see black or white."
Offline
Dion extended his hand expectantly, almost desperately even. "Good. Still doesn't change the fact that... it's..."
Offline
"It's?" Rai expects Dion to finish his sentence, apparently, his hand stopping its outstretching motion.
Offline
"...still white..." he finished reluctantly,.
Offline
"Change the color to whatever your favorite color is or something," he suggests as he finishes the motion smoothly and deposits the device in Dion's hand. It looks pretty large, but the strap can be retracted and extended, stuff like that.
Offline
Dion took it and fiddled with the strap for a little bit.
"I probably look ridiculous in this," he complained after putting them on, though unable to completely hide a grateful smile.
Offline
"The controls for the color are under the cover on the right side, near the strap," Rai added. "The ones on the right are more vision oriented." He further added with a smirk, "The goggles don't think so. It thinks it looks fabulous with anyone."
Offline
((Rai is Mr. Smirk huh))
"Haha." He tested out the color controls with a hand, settling on green. "Let's get going."
Offline
(Haha I'm imagining Dion just not even smiling as he says "Haha")
(He's Smirkster)
"Cool."
Neither Wiley nor Raez questions the goggles. Raez does give it a prolonged curious look, but Wiley, being a chemist, approves of goggles. Also he's in the driver's side. From incorrect quotes, that should be concerning.
Rai thinks so as well. He heads over to there. "Alright, let's have you transferred out of there."
Offline
((Accurate.))
A bit of a nagging thought in his mind kept trying to remind him that the car was actually white, causing Dion to low-key panic and try to get into the car as fast as possible.
Offline
(Which seat be he squeezing into, Raez is in the back center)
The inside is cyan. Now, whether it's black or white in reality is up to Dion's imagination.
Rai and Wiley continue to bicker about the driving thing. Surprisingly, Wiley doesn't do something like start the engine...until one could apparently notice Rai, at some point, had taken the keys without Wiley noticing and was holding them somewhat behind his back, out of Wiley's reach.
Cyber agents need to be thieves sometimes, huh.
Offline
((One of the sides. Back left, probably))
He honestly just tried to keep his mind blank-- wait no, not a good idea. He just tried to think about something else.
Dion looked around for the seatbelt.
Offline
The seatbelt is a nice cyan strap with a silver buckle.
Raez has gotten up and is trying to tug Wiley out of the driver's side.
Offline
Dion buckles himself in. At least he knows safety?
Offline
(Also sorry for continuing to say cyan. I meant green.)
Yay!! A sticker?
Wiley is now complaining but somehow, for all his lankiness, he isn't budging.
Offline
"Come on, get out and hurry up," Dion grumbled to the front.
Offline
Wiley just throws a penny from the cupholder back at Dion.
Offline
He caught it. "Not funny."
