First how do you accidentally create a character

You don't do it, Time? Dreams aside (accidental creations happen a lot there for me), don't you ever just make a character and before you know it you now know their first and/or former crush, the love of their life (currently dead, or believed to be), their parents, their grandparents, their future children, their nemeses, and their entire chaotic friend group/circle, because you created all of them accidentally?
Or you write in someone who you hadn't planned on, or you draw an individual you Do Not Recognize but are 100% going to use that design for because that design deserves a personality?

Accidental character creation is fun honestly but it can get a bit tiring for me xD
Also sometimes I feel bad for not giving the characters the same amount of development, but I guess that's just normal lol.

Design creation used to happen a lot for me xD now it doesn't happen as often (it's more relationships, family, friends) but still

Shouldn't be too hard to guess who's who (though there were limited options in the maker) but anyways the order is:
Dion, Germaine, Aurae, Dilanne, Kewl, Yvonne, Aereon, Laurie, Allen, and Dalia.

I get this part, but not too much on the others. Instead, I keep a document to keep ideas that I come up with, and to "borrow" any others I come accross.

Most of the time I don't stash my thoughts anywhere so asdfjklgsd I forget my own ideas a lot of the time xD.

I feel like it's more of other people's stuff or stuff that I think is cool instead of my own actual ideas that I just suddenly came up with while sitting around.

In French class we had a very interesting assignment today. It was an "investigation" case of the murder of a woman and while looking for clues in the text and all, we studied verb tenses.
Well anyways the murder case was of a woman named Germaine and I couldn't concentrate lol

I kinda feel like doing character design.
Like lol I just wanna draw pretty characters. Maybe more than character design it's just me wanting to draw something nice and aesthetic, or cool and hecking cool.
One day I'll be able to draw poses in perspective just by imagining them. For now, I ask Google for help.

What I've been doing lately is doing redraws of old characters of mine.
Tbh I had good ideas but like always I never knew how to use them correctly.
The designs were ok, some of them are kinda bland and some are a what-the-heck on the eyes, but mostly I really love how I used to have some ability for color combinations.

Rn I wanna redraw an OC named Emilia just because I want to figure out her color palette and fix up her clothing. Her og version has way too much neon and the 2nd design (the one I've shared the most) doesn't look flashy enough to me.
Okay well not flashy it just doesn't look very unique. I want her to have more...personality I guess. She's an eccentric person after all. But I might just go the regular way and give her apron some pockets for art supplies.
I have a feeling that the redraw is gonna end up being a whole lot more tame and maybe disappointing than what I have in mind atm lol.

Doesn't really match with the rest of her outfit if you think about it but she likes to wear it.

Redoing eye designs.
I like to think that eyes can tell about characters' personalities and so I guess in theory most of my character have unique eyes but uh I rarely draw them correctly xD I have a default I tend to use in my art and yeah I don't do much detail.

This friend is someone who can't be in the current roleplay but she has a design anyways.
Kind of like a backstory character? I like to create those for my OCs.
Might post a sketch or drawing one of these days :eyes:

I have several fun facts about Yvonne xD.
For example, she does her job well so she won't have to spend extra time redoing stuff. That way she gets more time to rest.

For me they tend to be fun! On the other hand, I tend to get distracted with that so I work on the other characters intead of on the backstory of the character I wanted to develop first xD

If it weren't in character, it wouldn't be Yvonne ;) so yep! I try to not go OOC with little details either.

Yesterday night I dreamed about kids and I guess I ended up with more OCs lol
It was a really random dream but the characters are going into my drawing list.
Somehow it feels like I'm more creative while sleeping?
