I tried using the "class" NES composition style, where the triangle wave is the bassline, and the two other lines are the melodies. In a lot of NES games the second line was used for harmonies

OK SO

The character is the main villain for Kurotama, the Demon King. He's the reincarnated soul of Kieran's oldest child (Kieran, in case you forgot, is the Dark elf that whose soul is trapped inside Ariana), and he was killed by her when he was about Ariana's age or a little younger, during the Dark Ages. So basically, the poor kid's soul is reincarnated as a demon and his grief and anger is magnified, and being trapped in a dark hole dimension for like 200 years doesn't help. He has the aura of a young child, about the age Kieran left him rather than the age he died. He can't understand his emotions at all, and that is partly the cause and the partly the result of his anger.

His powers (and character design, somewhat) center around the idea of pretend and games: using demons as living marionettes; telling them what to do like when playing with dolls or directing a game; changing into something else like when pretending.

Some names I was contemplating were Amires (discouraged because of the sheer number of characters that have names that start with "A"), Mizare, and Kilreva. These are all made-up names because I couldn't find any others rip

The beginning part uses the Lullaby motif, is that what you're hearing?

This track, for me, what with the single instrument, the celesta's almost haunting music box-like tone, the reverb, and the waltz arrangement that's often used for music boxes, gives it has a very lonely feel, like an empty ballroom.

Kieran is lost, inside an endless void from which she cannot escape. Here, the memories from long ago are put before her, forcing her to remember. Vague shadows dance around her, laughing. They are what used to be. They represent a time that no longer exists. Kieran's family, her husband, the children she loved so dearly, gone. Those she once knew long dead, whether by time or her own hand. She is the last one dancing in the ballroom.

Sorry the track just puts me a really poetic mood xDD
