Malaika mainly uses telekinesis/mind related abilities so to be completely fair, if she can't think or think straight (aka berserker mode), she basically is rendered useless in battle which is a mood. Sure, she can physically fight, but it's reckless/uncoordinated and takes a lot of energy, adding on that she has no way/idea of how to overpower someone that is physically stronger than her. So basically normal, able-to-think Malaika could beat your ass but if you're able to make her ticked off to the point of losing control, then you have a pretty high chance of winning

So in general her character flaw is that she uses mind-related abilities (telekinesis, telepathy, ect) as a crutch to the point of being useless in battle if she isn't able to use them

Potential character arc spoilers for Malaika and Alois, also curse warning

Okay so I have this idea of basically Alma has Malaika go to Alois to learn how to control herself when using demonic magic/her demon set of skills (since using any demonic abilities makes her unable to think clearly to the point of being a terrible fighter lmao) and her and Alois become a student-teacher relationship that begrudgingly becomes a daughter-father relationship and neither of them realize it until it's too late and both of them hate that they care about the other. Malaika because her actual father abused her so she's very much opposed to getting attachments to adults in that kind of way. Alois because he doesn't like how it feels to care about someone like a parent would, it kinda freaks him out a bit lmao. He's used to being a chaotic uncle type figure because Less Responsibility. So basically both are like "FUCK" but it's wholesome in the end. As well, Alois could teach Malaika familiar demon-type magic, and I kinda have this idea that due to the type of demonic magic it is, Malaika ends up getting more "animal"/familiar traits without becoming a witch familiar, so she kinda shifts into this sort of witch-y demon being which would be cool. My only theory on why witches aren't affected is because of the familiar-witch bond/slightly different magic being used (witches using a more "humane" magic)

Malaika's character arc just ends up being her getting more chaotic and unhinged due to Alois' influence lmao (also overcoming trauma, I guess) and Alois' character arc is Getting More Responsibility and Kinda Maturing but Not Really

Also Alois would join Alma in the "I accidentally adopted a murder child" club XD, I love the Accidentally A Dad Now trope a little too much, you can make so many flavors of it

But idk, just a concept. But with this concept I could develop my whole version of witches, dark magic, and familiar demons more which would be cool
