Right now I have two options in life:
1. Clean my drowers full of papers.
2. Keep staring at the nothing imagining that the drowers are clean while vibing to some music.
3. theres a number three because I am rebel
Offline
I did the option number 1. Guess I failed to be rebel.
(well I did number 2 too, so I am half rebel, half good girl.)

Google: Deities and gods can't die.
Me: What? What have you just said?
Offline
It has just said that deities and gods can't die
Or did it not say anything? Since Google is an application and can't speak? (excluding google assistant)

I have just taken an exam with 0 pre-studying. Call me crazy but I just failed 2 questions.
(well well my perfectionism is saying that I shouldnt have failed those two.)
Offline
I mean I have done two exams because my classmate through Whatsapp asked me half of her exams. and hers was different. the institution tries to give different exams to avoid people cheating and copying but....................

Only 2 wrong? No studying? Very nice indeed.
A little devious activity... do what you must to get by in school I suppose.
I wish that I knew Spanish more to bypass this language barrier
Offline
So does like every student get a different exam to complete?

"He had said "I am a man", and that meant certain things to Juana. It meant that he was half insane and half god. It meant that Kino would drive his strength against a mountain and plunge his strength against the sea. Juana, in her woman's soul, knew that the mountain would stand while the man broke himself; that the sea would surge while the man drowned in it. And yet it was this thing that made him a man, half insane, half god..."

Or we could just say that men are reckless and freakishly stubborn. At least in Juana's view.

But she isn't really saying it in a bad way

I have just finished organizing my drawers with Marie Kondo's method, Things that I have realized:
1.- IT WORKS asdfghjkl
2.- I thought I had a lot of clothes but that wasnt true. Literally in one drawer I have only one row of 5 pieces of clothe.
3. - my mom always watches videos of minimalismo (word in spanish) but she never does what they said, instead I always end up doing it.
4. you should try it. I MEAN IT. even though I am not a omg-there-is-one-rice-on-the table-am going- to -faint-becuse-thats-too-nasty person, IT was the EASIEST things i have ever done.

I am in a book hangover. Yesterday I read a whole book of 300 pages in less that 6 hours. It was The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides.
that plot twist though............
Offline
I never knew that book hangovers exist. How does it feel?

You keep think about it. little things and stuff makes you think about the story, about the end, about the characters. and you start choosing a side. like "oh he was right" or "he shouldnt have done that..." etcetc.
its like when you start to process the story and its meaning
Offline
Oh I've heard of that. It seems I just didn't consider it as a hangover.

"As human beings, in our earliest years we reside in a land before memory. We like to think of ourselves as emerging from this primordial fog with our characters fully formed, like Aphrodite rising perfect from the sea foam. But thanks to increasing research into the development of the brain, we know this is not the case. We are born with a brain half-formed -- more like a muddy lump of clay than a divine Olympian. As the psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott put it, "There is no such thing as a baby". The development of our personalities doesnt take place in isolation, but in relationship with others -- we are shaped and completed by unseen, unremembered forces; namely, our parents.
This is frightening, for obvious reasons. Who knows what indignities we suffered, what torments and abuses, in this land before memory? Our character was formed without our even knowing it......"

What though provoking quote
Get it? Because it's about the mind
I heard the silent patient is an interesting novel
