(Read that in Caster Gilgamesh's voice)
Raez, who was anticipating death, finds this result a bit underwhelming. That's a good thing, though. He grins and almost laughs aloud, though he does stop himself from doing so, and somehow tightens his grip even more. The handlebars are gonna crack, Raez.

Aurora cheered on during the ride as it swayed side to side, up and down.
But then there was sudden "KER-CHUCNK" that came from the ride.
Offline
"That sounds like terrific news," Raez is ever-so-quick to comment. He still sounds happy, though he's probably not.
Offline
Dilanne just laughed. She's having fun.
Offline
"Aurora, what do you think of that??" questions Raez. It might be his imagination or it might not be, but he's pretty sure he just heard another ominous clanking. He shifts his weight slightly towards the other seat in his row, as if that'd help any.
Offline
"Huh? What did you say?" Aurora yelled back to Raez, "I can't hear you over the ride! What did you think of that sound?"
Offline
He turns his volume up a notch, or maybe four. "Think it's concerning enough to try to get off, or nah?"
Offline
"Uhh... I think we're ok!" Aurora yelled, "Rides always make those sounds don't they?"
Offline
"Let's just enjoy the ride! It doesn't feel too dangerous!"
Offline
Raez makes a doubtful sound that isn't actually loud enough to be audible as a double-sided response. But anyways, it isn't like this is that much more dangerous than what they usually do, right? So they should be "fine" in that sense. That's what he tries to convince himself, anyways.
He settles back into his seat and hopes that if something is seriously amiss, then the ride will make another sound of warning rather than decide that the entire group's hopeless anyways.
Offline
SRRRRKKKK KUNK the rude groaned. And he group definitely felt that one too as the carts unnaturally shifted their weight to the right side. That was actually concerning. By now the next noticeable point they were heading for was the high point with the banner. If you remember. However, it's not high enough to slow the speed down too much.
Offline
By the way, are all three sitting on a seat on the right?
Raez pauses a good five seconds before gripping the ride, as if demanding it answer his questions. His tone comes out much more friendly, though. Hopefully it'll excuse his rudeness. "Excuse me, but was that a warning that something is seriously wrong? I presume you're able to read my mind?" he shouts above the wind ."Please give an identical sound if so, and pardon us--er, or singular 'me'--for the cluelessness."
Offline
Dilanne was supposed to be sitting to the left, but she's shifted more towards the center of her cart. She made an effort to turn to see Raez.
"Eh? You mean that sound just now? You wanna jump off already?"
Offline
Raez, with a look of absolute calm that really does not have a source, responds, "I am asking for confirmation from this great cart before I develop feelings on the matter."
Offline
"RAEZ! THE CART DOESN'T HAVE EMOTIONS! IT'S A CART!" Aurora suddenly explodes.
Offline
(I'm gonna start counting the number of posts in between every time Raez does/says something that makes Aurora explode lol)
Raez's expression is one of absolute serenity as he waits for a cue from the Great Cart God. Honestly, it's good that Aurora's sitting behind him, or else his expression would probably make her even more angry than she already is, or something.
Offline
Probably,
Another giant CLANG sounds from the ride. Wow, it's speaking (not really but still)!
Offline
Raez's placid expression just turned to the smuggest one ever. By now, it's definitely a good thing that Aurora can't see her fellow cyber sky pirate's face.
"Ey, that wasn't identical!" he shouts, grinning in front of him.
Offline
"THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT CAN SPEAK IT MEANS THERE'S GOTTA BE SOMETHING WRONG!!" She yells, "I FEEL IT!"
Offline
Raez actually ignores her this time in favor of the cart. Or maybe this time he happened to actually not hear her, since he throws one arm into the air and yells something inaudible himself.
Offline
"I think we should jump off ASAP!" Dilanne yelled out, as she'd changed opinion. She raised her voice to let herself be heard over any external noises.
Offline
"Uhhh... HOW??" Aurora yells back.
Offline
"Yeah, how?" Raez asks as well, his parroting of the question also indicating that he half-agrees.
Sounds like a question they probably should've asked before getting on, tbh.
Offline
The carts start rattling violently, way more violent than they should be.
Aurora attempts to pull up the bar from her cart.
Offline
"Maybe we should wait to jump when we're not about to go down an incline," Raez suggests, just as the carts stop and...start rolling back downhill.
What a way to jinx them.
Offline
"Wait, what!?" Aurora screams, not at all expecting that, "What do we do? what do we do!?" She tries to look behind her towards the new direction thet were heading, but that's slightly more difficult when your body is secured forward
Offline
"Just- just- when we reach the bottom of this stee-" Dilanne tried to say something, but her voice carried in the wind and she cut herself off while trying to open the seatbelt and get rid of the cart bar.
Offline
Raez just takes a chill pill. Literally. He actually popped a pill into his mouth. Guess he didn't carry it in his backpack. Anyways, pill in his mouth, he asks Dilanne to finish what she was saying because orders have to be finished before the crew jumps ship, but literally none of that was audible at this point due to the sheer amount of wind going on around them.
For his part, he doesn't seem that eager to jump, perhaps logically so.
Offline
Dilanne still tried to yell something. It still could not be heard.
Anyway, once she rid herself of the safety measures, Dilanne stood up in a pretty display of balance and held on to the sides of the cart. She couldn't just jump either. She ordered something to Aurora but once again her voice drowned in the wind.
Offline
(Sorry, I thought Aurora was going to respond lol)
"What was that?" Raez asks Dilanne, though it's perhaps a little unclear who he's addressing at this point. He holds out a hand, as if asking the wind to halt momentarily, and squints slightly into the air.
