I just got reminded of Echo having a crisis over me just mashing potatoes instead of adding butter (buttah) xD

I really need to work on Sunny or something. Like I need to write or...something. Idk I just don't have very much confidence for roleplaying him, maybe because he's so different from GGaD Sunny lol
But you know, I found out on my finals week I have PSATs, which is honestly not very fun lol

Uh I think I might need a review of the summoning ritual and how it pertains to here. Are we just going to have it as how the Masters do it in F/Z and/or F/Apocrypha (I can't remember if there's difference lol)? 'Cause rn I can't view the actual episodes from that so I'm going off of my memory, lol. Also, I think the summoning ritual is pretty connected with Western religions or whatever, so yeah, uh, do we need to change that? (considering we changed up the lore a bit to, y'know, not match up with religions so much.)
I think I need to understand the darn chants first lol. And also idk what's used to draw the magical circle. I remember blood but idk what else was used, if anything else.
Something for you to consider: Would an EX-rank Mad Enhancement chant (the part specifically for a Berserker) be different than that used in F/Z and F/A? I don't think F/A's Spartacus was shown to be summoned (or I can't remember), so yeah. If there's difference that you think exists, then you can, like, y'know, take creative liberties there, and I look forward to seeing it.

Hey I'm sure you'll roleplay well! I think I'mma enjoy seeing a different Sunny xD, one with manners. But if you need to warmup then well I guess I think you should do it if you have time.

I'm checking the incantation rn and I can only find the ones used in Apocrypha. To be honest I hadn't noticed the mentions to religion (it might be because of the subs I watched) but if you want we can change it up some. I can post the translation of the chant from Apocrypha here if you wanna check it.
I remember blood too, but I think mercury was used to draw Irisviel's circle. How do we want to do it? Maybe the method differs between mages?
Well I don't know for sure about the special part of the chant, I think the line is added to ensure the Servant summoned is in the Berserker class, but I don't know if it affects the ME rank. I'll figure it out, it'd be nice to be somewhat creative lol but don't be disappointed xD.
I think we mentioned the thread was going to start with Sunny and Lux getting to the city, but I don't know exactly at what point or if you still wanna begin from there.

To be completely fair, the Holy Grail itself is connected with religion iirc. So is Saint Quartz from F/GO iirc. I'm not 100% sure about the chant being connected with religion but I'm prettyyyy sure it is. Lol.

I don't know if the part canonically affects the Mad Enhancement, but for me the inspiration for the question was the part "Let chaos cloud thine eyes," (or something like that,) which...isn't really applicable for all Berserkers? I guess? Like it's true for higher ranks of ME (excluding EX). I can't fully justify daytime me's reasoning but that's about what I was thinking--that the chant might be differed for lower ranks (whatever the reason one would have for summoning a Berserker with a low-ranked Mad Enhancement) and the EX rank. And honestly creative liberties are fun. If you don't know how to go about it, though, don't worry about it, but since you have a lot of time until Berserker's thread (last thread lol) I think that should be enough time for you to decide your opinion on this thought.

How are we going to present the "reading of the stats and general history[?]" of the Servants? Is there a specific format? When do we do it (or is it on request)? On the general history thing, can lore be viewed right after summoning to an extent, or can we keep it secret?
Iirc in F/sn it's said that Masters see information in a way they'd understand, but since we have Servant-Master pairs with one of the characters belonging to the other, I doubt we could organize it in such a tailored fashion, so that's why I'm asking. Should it be generalized, and if so, how?

Well, reading the chant yesterday I realized it has lines that seem like allusions to Catholicism. Tbh that's where the idea of the Holy Grail comes from in the first place lol. I have no idea about the origins of Saint Quartz though.
About variants the only thing that's been troubling me for a long time is that iirc Rin mentioned the name of her ancestor or something and I don't know but like that's the only thing I have to say about summon chants. Not very important.
No I mean the circle Irisviel had Saber draw in order to regain energy. I think it might have been a different kind of magic circle, but to me it seems that it's the same one Shirou accidentally used to call Saber later on? That one wasn't drawn with blood.
At least I've got time until we get to that thread xD. I'll give it thought, definitely, yeah, and I guess you'll see anyways once the moment to roleplay that part comes. Tbh I kinda worry that if I edit the part it juts won't sound so poetic and magic-y because I'm not very good at using words lol.
I'll have to reread too. Rn I can suggest that we could begin with the train being close to arrive to destination.

The ontly thing I know for I sure on this topic is that Masters can view Servants' stats unless they're concealed with a skill.
I think lore is only available to Masters once the identity of a Servant is revealed. But maybe to make it a bit easier to figure out what we're working with, maybe we can give like a short description if the Master knows whom they summoned. Because I mean Masters generally want to summon specific Servants so it makes sense if they know at least a bit about them. Idk if this makes sense.

Yeah, Rin's ancestor helped set up the Grail System in Fuyuki, so that's probably why. Don't remember if there was something like that in Fate/Apocrypha.

I don't remember that, but I remember the markings in the ground when Shirou was running from Choo-choo-Chulainn seemed pretty red to me,,, for me I actually remember Kiritsugu's magic circle being more silver than red lol I think my memory might just be really bad atm. Anyways I know without doubt that Waver's circle was red

The thing is, well, you'll see. See below.
For my Master characters, the reasons to summoning "specific Servants" are as follows:
Helge--idk I say he wanted a balanced Servant, but we both know he probably wanted a bookworm like him lol. That is all. (Also known as further development needed, and that he didn't really aim for a specific Servant with the catalyst he had)
Ambryll--oof (unintended, not a specific summon)
Sunny--general summon, still don't know why he has that catalyst to be sure. Well at least he's studied history so maybe he can guess?? I forget Youri's fame level.

For your characters (my commentary that is):
Dion--oof (unintended, idk if he was aiming for someone specific but that is possible. Your choice.)
Aisline--fair enough (I can provide possible justification with more development if she was doing a specific summon, which I find most likely [in terms of the summon being specific towards Kiaane rather than towards someone else])
Nyoko--yeah idk, why did she want Rider (also can provide possible justification with more development if this was a specific summon, which it likely was considering the catalyst)
Aereon--most questionable of all. Why pick a handsome Chinese man who doesn't even act like he's on steroids as a Berserker? (I could possibly try to justify for this tho. The justification literally just popped up. Give me a bit. Gist is that it still might be unintentional, but that might be boring. Give me a bit in general lol)

To be perfectly honest, how I said it was the most concise way I could word it, so idk how to word it otherwise. Let me try by winding around a little
Essentially, neither of us will know the other's Master character well enough to be able to structure the information in a way that the Master character will be more accustomed to, e.g. if I had Artoria as my character and you had Shirou, I wouldn't know that Shirou would want the information structured like a video game statistic sheet. So while roleplaying, I'd most likely give the information in a generalized form, e.g. just a list, that Shirou could hypothetically see in his preferred format (with the control of how he sees the information now falling to you). What I'm asking is: How will we structure the information in the generalized form for further customization?

I do remember that Jack the Ripper's Master, what's-his-face, referred to his ancestor(s?) while summoning, though. It would make sense for Kairi to not do that since he's mostly a rogue and his family line's about to die.

Helge's ok, I think the catalyst I have en mind is a bit general enough to make for a non-specific summon.
I don't think that "oof" was supposed to be funny and yet I laughed. What's kinda funny to me is that they're getting a decent Servant and it was just coincidence apparently
Dunno if Caster's case can be considered history enough to recognize it that much, like I've said previously I think it's more like tied to a certain area instead of being known all around.

Once again I laughed at oof. Why xD. Well, I think Dion probably was expecting someone else. Maybe not 100& specific but definitely someone else. After all, I'm sure he tried to get some info beforehand.
Aisline definitely tried to do a specific summon. I can't think of another possibility for her xD. I'm sure she knew what she was going for.
For Nyoko let's just leave it at she had the catalyst and used it. I think she probably knew whom she was summoning though. So, maybe a bit more specific.
Well idk Aereon is still somewhat of a msytery to me and that's going to be a problem with roleplaying lol. I wanna see the justification btw so that way I can organize my thoughts better.
