The A.A. comes back before Snake Boy can make an indent in the walls. Again.
Leaving, they start saying in a tone that sounds that they're about to repeat the rules for the outing. Again.
Offline
"Where to!?" the Cheetah blurted out loudly and with cheer. "Are we ready? Already?"
Offline
No, they state, quite bluntly. It seems directed towards both Masked Ones, but particularly the one who's running haywire across the room.
Offline
"Shut up your running, Mamba! We're going!"
The Cheetah meant to say "stop" instead of "shut up", but welp.
Offline
Not yet. The A.A. ignores the Mamba as he "shuts up" his running by slamming into the most nearby wall. Must go over conduct and consequences once more. Understand?
No, no, the Mamba doesn't actually understand. The "understand" part is more geared towards the consequences part. He tends to understand those better.
Offline
"Yeah, I get it, yeah!" she said cheerily, and added, "Let's make it quick!"
Offline
No, the A.A. rejects, which might also mean that they don't need to if the Mamba and the Cheetah have pulled it out for so long. The other meaning is how the two completely ignore their rules at times. Making it longer and repetitive justifies larger consequences. And it can also mean that she doesn't understand. Either way, they go over the entire rule set again, surprisingly quickly, and then they go over the consequences elaborately.
The Mamba looks like he got absolutely none of that but is at least smart enough to try not to show it.
Offline
(This thread is an endless loop of them asking where they're going, getting off-topic, making the A.A. do everything, making the A.A. repeat the rules, and randomly arguing about completely useless topics, etc.)
Mamba, out. Cheetah, stay in, comes yet another order from the A.A. And of course the Mamba obeys, though by nyooming out the room. He nearly has the door hit him on the way out because he didn't open it wide enough.
Offline
At least the Cheetah looked like she was paying attention to the rules. Hopefully something would stick.
She nodded to the A.A.'s order about staying in, though she made sure to listen carefully to make sure they weren't leaving without her. The Cheetah blinked at the Mamba's close encounter with the door.
Offline
(Lmiao I didn't realize that I responded twice, temporary split personalities? Lol)
The A.A. then proceeds to give 0 elaboration on the order. Well, technically they shouldn't have to. It's an order coming from an assassin of all entities, after all.
Offline
The Cheetah repaetedly bounced on her heels while she waited.
Offline
Mamba's taking forever.
The A.A. excuses themselves non-verbally as they head out. That is, they also give no elaboration on that action.
Offline
The Cheetah's bouncing got faster. It's more like she's just shaking herself now.
Offline
Still is taking forever.
Seriously, 5 minutes has passed. The A.A. usually takes 50 seconds at most with anything. Hopefully they don't eat and sleep, or else that's not really a healthy amount of time to be eating and sleeping.
After another minute, the Mamba's yowl is heard.
Oh.
Offline
After a blink that lasted about two seconds, the Cheetah ran to the door and peeked outside. Maybe she could see something.
Offline
Nope, they're not outside.
You know, they could even be on the other side of the stronghold, since the Mamba is loud.
Offline
The Cheetah pushed herself as far as she could without stepping outside the room's doorway. All just for a better peek, an exaggerated one.
Offline
An imaginary wind blows across the hallway. Seems like she's alone.
Offline
There's no one around...
The Cheetah decided against yelling for the Mamba. One more minute, one more minute.
Well, it's not like anyone would know if she stepped out right now, no?
Offline
The narrator advises against stepping out. The A.A.'s orders can be quite literal.
Offline
((the date approaches! it's really almost been a year xD))
The Cheetah is aware of that. She called out, "Mamba! MAMBA!"
Offline
"Whaaattt?" comes the holler back, before he shouts: "OWW!" Somehow it sounds like the two sounds are overlapped--like he shouted both at the same time. Impressive.
Offline
"WHERE'RE YOU?"
Offline
"HERE!" comes the slightly less painful-sounding reply.
Offline
"BUT WHERE IS HERE?"
Offline
"WHERE I AM--!" That's followed with a screech and what sounds to be a "aAAAMHFJFJF!"
Offline
"..." Cheetah made a pause between her shouts because of those screams of pain. Then, "ARE YOU OKAY???"
Offline
"NO! I MEAN YES! AAAA--"
She can't see it, but he actually swallowed back whatever he was going to complain because even he knows not to complain about the A.A., which was what he was about to do.
Offline
"I'LL WAIT FOR YOU, SO HUUUUUUUUURRY!" she yelled, cupping one hand next to her mouth.
Offline
"NOOOO!" he shouts, not necessarily to what she said.
He'd better hurry. The 31st is 19 days away. Making the narrator mad would be at least equivalent to making the A.A. mad, and the narrator's much less patient.
