Wait have you watched Spirited Away
is it good

Yes I have seen Spirited Away, probably about 5 times at this point. It is VERY good and the music, as in every Ghibli movie, is GODLIKE.
Same with Princess Mononoke.

I like the sound :0
I wouldn't say it sounds "cooler". It sounds better, but it has a something else other than cool... maybe, realxing? But also not quite that xD I don't think I can find the right word, but I like it :D

Okay so I've always wanted to watch Spirited Away lol
I read the synopsis like a decade ago lol it just seemed really interesting to me and it was going to be aired in a certain library my mom used to take me to, but I never got brave enough to actually ask for it xD

I describe it "melancholic" or "nostalgic." The song reminds me of fall, which is a nostalgic time for me, because I think that's when I wrote it.

I see a lot of people talking about Ghibli films, so I think they must be really good.
I'll probably watch some one day xD I don't tend to watch movies by myself though and really my family doesn't watch many movies often.

rip
it will be worth it though i promise

Hehe I'm writing the synopsis for the story that Skipper and Dmitri are in >:3
Offline
I'm sure it will xD let's see when I have time and motivation though.
Ooh nice nice, good luck! I'm sure it'll be an amazing story >:3c
Offline
Oh it will. It probably will depressing because there will most definitely be a major character death but (: blame my dreams.

Sad
But if that's what you must write to make it interesting... then Ig, so be it xD
Offline
Also I just misread this thread's title as "Basking up Chaos" because I mixed up your username with the title xD

Hey it's not MY fault

In the original version Skipper died and I changed that because it's way too intense for her to crash an airship into a major corporate stronghold to get rid of a virus that's killing everyone
So it could be worse

I'm sure it'll be enjoyable to read though dw xD

I'm sorry I just really like Dmitri lol

He looks cool :0

Dmitri is that one guy that's really cool but would probably get to you once in a while if you've been in his presence too long because of his energy.

And by this I mean that Skipper is always bothered by him

I can't find the other version to compare it but
I like the way he song transitions from part 15 to 16. And then when the drum(?) beats kick in in the second part. O course the thing that I like most is the beginning uwu
Offline
Originally it was just the harp, but I added more things.
I was really inspired by the music Ori and the Blind Forest, as it's very orchestral.
Being in an orchestra is helping me absorb techniques lol
Yeah it's a drum.
The beginning is my favorite part too, I also like how it goes back at the end, because the war is over and peace has returned.

Oh okay, it sounds nicer with more instruments.
I've seen you mentioning that game but I don't know much ab it. What's it about?
I bet it really can help you learn! I mean, you're in constant practice with music and related things, so it definitely reinforces what you already know and teaches you new things. It sounds cool btw. Have you been performing lately?
Ooh nice, I hadn't thought of the relationsjip between the story itself and the music (I should have, though xD) but I can feel them vibessss

Ori and the Blind Forest is about a spirit of light, named Ori, who restores the three Elements to restore the dying forest of Nibel and stop Kuro, a spirit of darkness who is determined to see Nibel's light fade.
It's a Metroidvania and it's the first on of the genre I've played, and it's REALLY good. The story's amazing, the characters and their designs are lovable, and the music is AWESOME.
