((I apparently can’t send you more PMs because your inbox is full))
He furrowed his brow. “How did you know my name? And, well...I suppose you could say that.”

"Exactly." He sounds slightly pleased, though there's not much to be pleased about.
Okay, well, that's like saying "Yes" to an open-response answer, except saying "Exactly" instead.

That just made the hybrid confused. “What?”

"Hmm?" he questions softly, like he has no idea why Kokumajutsu is asking "What?", though he probably does have more than one idea.

"You just made me confused. What were you just trying to say earlier?"

"Ah, I meant that I could say the same," he clarifies.

"Ah," he nodded un total complete understanding.

Why does that sound so sarcastic?
He settles back again, smiling in that slightly unnerving way of his. Though, if Kokumajutsu had been of the more morally good alignment, then it would be reassuring instead. Smiles work in such funny ways, huh.

His eyes narrowed. "What brings you to my smithy today?"

"I walked here, so I suppose...my feet," he answers helpfully, gesturing to his feet, which are clad in high boots.
Oh gods, bad jokes.

That brought the frown out. "Yes...so I noticed."

He smiles. "It's a lifelong skill, so I think it will serve you quite well in the long run."

"Yes, I know," he held out the last word.

He listens to the word trailing on, unperplexed and unperturbed.

"Master?" Jirou poked his head out the door he opened, staring wide-eyed at the stranger again.
"What is it, Jirou?"
"U-Um...." He blinked. "I...uh...forgot."

"So he is his apprentice," he speaks aloud, quietly, to himself. "Perhaps not a surprise..."

Kokumajutsu looked back at the stranger. "What was that?"

The grin is really apparent in their voice now. "Nothing important. Carry on."

Narrowing his eyes in suspicion, Koku addressed Jirou, "We'll finish inside. Good day." He turned to go inside the shop.
Jirou disappeared back in.

"Good day to you as well," he responds, almost as if chorusing with someone. Still grinning, he watches Kokumajutsu retreat back into his lair.

Koku closed the door, grumbling to himself as he went into his shop.
((I gotta go...it was great chatting a bit and RPing with you again!))

He watches the door close, still grinning. After a few seconds, though, he stands up and even backs up a few steps, almost as if admiring the 'house' from an offhand angle.
Even that admiration only lasts for a few seconds. He backs up further and calmly takes a seat on the ground, unbothered by the dust and dirt. Crossing his legs, he closes his eyes momentarily, his cape settling around him.

Welp. He was going to sit there for a while.

While he's waiting, a young man walks up to the smithy shop. He glances down at him. "Is Kokumajutsu still here?" he asks.

A pause. Then: "Pardon?"
