Okay okay, so I had a lot of things I was trying to remember but I'll put down what I remember thus far.

First, my fall break is near the 18th of next month. If it's okay with you (as in if you also are more free around that time) maybe we could start the Fate AU RPing by then? I do need to get my things together before then though (for Fate!Sunny)

Second, this is a reminder for me to ask you about a thread that could happen in November. Rn is too early, though.

Three is about the Meeps
One, is Meep the family name of Paymon, or Xenia? Connecting to that, who's the one with the really bad family? I know we can't exactly communicate with Fallon and Rune about which side their characters are on, but I've always presumed that Meep is Paymon's family, for whatever reason.
Then on a separate but related note, which side is the family that's really crappy in HPA? It doesn't have to be the Meep family. In fact it might be more interesting if it's another surname. All of these issues are connected, anyhow.
Currently my mind has it headcanoned as Meep being Paymon's family, and the kids going by his family name because Xenia's family...isn't the most pleasant. August and Kenyon are cousins on the paternal side (which is why they're also Meeps). The family in HPA that's taking advantage of Sunny and Sollux is actually from Xenia's side. Wanted to ask you though because obviously my viewpoint is only one viewpoint and can be quite shallow

Next, wanted to confirm. Is Xenia blond? Or does she have more cyan hair? This is a bit more negotiable because I could honestly make anything work. Iirc you wanted her to be blond but technically I could kinda pull something like anime do and switch it if I really need to. Mostly, if you had a switch, like suddenly Paymon needs to be blond, I can work with cyan hair for her.

More importantly, do you have Paymon's backstory down? If you do, it probably has already answered most of the above questions.

Finally (or at least finally for now), did they die in proximity to each other? I currently have it as Sunny watched them die (rip him and them), but whether he watched only one or both at the same time depends on where they were when they died. Obviously, he couldn't have watched both if they were in separate rooms. At least, I don't think so.

That's what I have for now. Might have more if I ever remember what I was thinking.

Sure, next month sounds good to me. By then I might have finished with some things I have to do. Afaik I don't have any major activities around that date, but I'll let ya know if something pops up. Hehehe I'll have to put some effort in too, especially for Caster. But it's all going smoothly imo.

I've always thought that Paymon (and his unnamed brother Ig) share the last name Meep and it comes from there. I don't know much about the Meep family (I mean aside from details and HCs and thoughts) but what I would say is that they're not exactly "bad". My headcanon, maybe more related to HPA but still kind of working for GGaD, is that they're not very involved or interested in the family formed from the marriage between Paymon and Xenia. Like they just don't care so they're not present. This would change (headcanon) if there's something to be gained from relationship, like in HPA. So, kind of opportunists I guess? Btw if this is what's happening, then the family with the cousins is probs the only family link being constantly strengthened and it might explain why the cousins are close. I think Paymon would like that.
In HPA it might be that the main side gaining the advantages is from Xenia's side (btw do they have a last name to call them by?), but the Meep side of the family doesn't like that, and the conflict of sorts can stem from there. It's not that they're evil people, they just care more about certain interests. Or well I guess they're not very good people if this is the case lol. For some reason it didn't sound that bad in my head.

Is Xenia blond? I don't know, but I've headcanoned that she is. Paymon could have cyan hair if she's blond. For him, I was toying around with the idea that his hair might be naturally two-toned or have some kind of color shift. Still keeping the cyan-ish color, but maybe whiter or darker in some parts. I wanted to ask you that. And also, what about the eyes? Do both parents have pink eyes or do they have different eye colors each? I don't remember if we decided about that.

I have an idea of it, nothing set in stone lol you know how I am, but it's not like I'm clueless about his story.

Poor Sunny, oof lol. Ngl I kinda want to be cruel and say he probably watched them both die :'). Maybe not at the same time, but in the same room.

Logically it makes sense too, since August and Kenyon are technically also half-demigod, like Sunny and Sollux, which implies Paymon's brother (and potential other siblings, more estranged though) is also a demigod like Paymon

Yesterday night, I tried my hardest to get down information for Fate!Sunny's "form." And I couldn't do it. Thinking about it, I can't even remember why I was so adamant on doing it like that, seeing as none of my characters have acted according to their forms so far, not to mention I usually have to develop them first. So, I guess that I just need to sketch him/solidify his design to an extent. Yay? I do have more written for that.
On another note, I was kind of shocked at how much I wasn't capable of putting to words, which means: Screw me for not writing enough down :').

If you're busy, just let me know. Don't feel like you have to go through anything. I'd rather us both roleplay semi-consistently and try our best than force out an introductory thread of all things.

Next post incoming since the tab reloaded one attempt before I could copy the reply.

But you don't have do to a "form". Well, I guess you might work like that xD for me it's better jo tust keep notes and not worry much about rewriting them into paragraphs unless I feel particularly inspired or something like that. Tbh (for me) it's better to have an idea of what your character is/will be like and not block yourself in by writing something that is subject to change with dev. Btw will you show pics :eyes:
It's kinda funny that it happens these past days I actually got a lot of inspiration for Caster, so now I'm trying to pick out the things I like so I don't get all swamped with unnecessary stuff lol. But it's good, kinda, because he went from being the least developed to the most developed of my Servant characters xD.
I'm not sure what part of the info I should share when the time comes. I guess you'll tell me?

Well dangit I'll just get straight to the point. My grandma's having surgery again. For the same reason, but apparently it's milder this time. It's gonna be on Friday if things go according to plan, but meanwhile Mom's busy and, as always, I gotta do house stuff. Guess it's not new.
But, well, I just thought maybe you'd want to know. It's still a serious thing, but afaik there's less risk involved this time and recovery time should be faster. So don't worry much :-).

For me I get inspiration to roleplay a character by writing a form or at least writing about them in an organized fashion and thus getting a good base to work with, but in this case GGaD!Sunny already has a form, so I think my mind thinks I'm messing with it or smthn. Meanwhile, Fate!Sunny technically being different from him (and thus mandating that need of a new base) be like,,,

I was actually waiting for an update, so I expected this. Dw lol, I worried more with no mention of it, though I've been able to be somewhat optimistic so...yeah, I didn't go panic mode, lol.
I would say that personally this isn't surprising, and it's good that the condition hasn't rebounded or anything like that. Tell her to take care of herself (eat enough, drink enough water, rest enough) for me, will ya? Same to your mom. Tell her to not worry too much, because her being happy will make your grandma happier and more relaxed. And thanks again for the update.
In addition, I know you can do house stuff too. Just so you know, if something similar were to come up during the Fate AU roleplaying period/my fall break, then just tell me like this too, please.

Well, sorry it took so long. But the update is here. I think in this situation it's way better to keep seeing the bright side, and it's (surprisingly?) being a challenge for me.
I guess it shouldn't be, but it kinda was a shock to me. It might be because I wasn't very informed of what was exactly going on. That can also be a reason for the lack of update, I suppose. A good thing is that she has been resting more uwu.
Yeah I sometimes get quite busy with house stuff xD. It's time-consuming even though through the internet it might not seem like it. But stuff like doing the laundry for a whole family can take hours lol. And alrighty, I'll make sure to tell you.
I'm kinda trying to find a way to put a :-) emoji that doesn't look threatening xD I think being online has destroyed my perception of ""

I just get myself hyped up over a character and then the roleplay inspiration usually comes xD. Not the same with dev inspiration though :') sadly. In that I can relate and can't relate at the same time lol. More like, it's a similar thing but in a different way, cause we obviously have different styles in devving.
Btw just confirming, do the Meeps keep the same hair/eye color as in canon GGaD?
I meant pics of design sketches :3. But it was kinda a joke xD because I know you don't show sketches.

I had a dream that was really weird, but the relevant part here is that for some reason you and I were discussing a ship name for Paymon and Xenia. The interesting thing is that we actually had already named it "XP" because apparently "it was an eXPerience", but we were talking about why it was "XP" and not "PX" and more random stuff but that's what I wanted to share xD.

No, it's okay. I know that you only know certain things and take into account my feelings anyway. That's more than enough. And yeah, it tends to be easier to be optimistic regarding others' situations compared to situations much closer to home (literally?). And yeah, sorry for even making bad puns here, I swear I have no ill intent. In any case, complete optimism can kind of be annoying imo anyways, since it's unrealistic.
The internet is not a good way to gauge anyone's schedule lol, for instance me here not focusing on homework :')
I don't usually think of emojis as being primary passive-aggressive indicators, and as it wouldn't make sense in this context you're fine with using any kind of emoji :-)

The Meep family is reflecting my own family lol, fun. (Except in mine the married couples ignored us first...ah well, the point is there.) I guess I can say that I agree with you in terms of the Meeps not being very close other than selective pairs/groups(?) like Paymon and his unnamed brother (lol I wonder if we'd ever have to make this character. On that note, if we do, which one of us would make him?), but I can't say whether or not I agree on them being "good" or "bad" without more detail. I guess I can say that they're probably a little better than Xenia's side, lol. (Wonder what Xenia's and Paymon's wedding was like,,, haha)
Going on with that, so is Sollux with Paymon's family in HPA while Sunny's on Xenia's side, or is it that they're just on two sides of Xenia's family? You mentioned them being opportunists, but like I said, not enough detail, so I don't know if they would do what the HPA family is doing.
Xenia's family doesn't have a surname; it doesn't identify the bloodline through a name. Cool, maybe? Cool despite me spiting them for the most part, I guess.

Is Xenia blond? I don't know. Her design is more versatile now that I've worked on her ~~lol I've worked more on her than on Fate!Sunny. Ironic~~ so I'm okay with anything. If you have a design that you really like Paymon having, I'll take the opposite hair color. What you said sounds cool, though I do have to think of why Sunny and Sollux then have pure hair colors compared to their dad. That's the only consideration for now, in my opinion; anything else is up to you.
And we both decided that Xenia and Paymon both have pink eyes.
I think we might have to share backstories for this one, or else that might become conflict in their relationship. I guess people are supposed to be open and willing to talk in relationships, even if not frequently and even if it's about uncomfortable topics? I am not sure.

Noted. I have an idea as to how that happened. As it happens, I've been pondering how they died...anyhow, what you said works.

Tbh I wouldn't have thought of the ship name even if I did do ship names. Then again, I don't think that counts as a ship name tho xD. Did you want to call it that? I feel like it might be confusing but idk--xD.

Lol, so we work in opposite ways. I get inspired much easier for development (also for design too ig), but for laying down a base for personality...well, I need it, I guess, as I already said.

Can't confirm that. Here I have it as Sunny's hair color is influenced by his magic (for a reason that isn't just "magic"), but that's all. What's your reason for asking? Are you finding that Lux is looking better with a different design?

Not much to say right now. I guess it's just a matter of waiting for tomorrow and seeing what comes up. From what I've seen, at least Mom's in better spirits now. That's good.

Well, the similarities are unintentional lol oops. For close family members, the only canon thing is the other set of Meeps, so that's what I have in my mind. You mentioned there may be other siblings, and that possibility is there but I've been focusing on other things so more thoughts about that haven't really crossed my mind. About the character creation, well idk lol Fallon is kinda active so if a need to make the character comes I think she'd have a say in that. I don't have more detail about the Meep family. Rn all I have are loose headcanons that can be modified depending on what's needed xD. It's probably because I don't really feel like I "own" the concept lol so I'm kinda hesitant there (HPA is an AU so I should feel freer there but, still, haven't focused on developing that part). Dunno about the wedding either...I doubt it was a big celebration tho. There's more things that come into play there, hmmmmm maybe one day we can discuss that detail. I think it might be fun (or sad).
I imagined that in HPA each side of the family took care of one kid (the way you asked). I hadn't considered them both being on Xenia's family, maybe because I just don't know what they're like and I actually don't own that idea xD. Not having a surname is interesting tbh I agree lol.

Like I said, I've drawn Paymon but I haven't colored him yet xD. I have my headcanon for the hair colors but I've yet to try color combinations, so I'll get back to you on that. I was thinking of asking you for a palette swap if cyan didn't work, anyways xD. Thank you for the reminder ab eye color btw.
Yeah...I'll wait until I have a more solid idea of what the backstory is lol. What you said about being open in relationships is absolutely correct btw. I mean, it's obvious that some kind of conflict will happen if there's a part that's purposefully kept secret and then somehow for some reason there's a need to deal with something related. Generates mistrust imo.
