Yeah, so I observed.
May I ask why you hate it? I usually edit on a tablet and everything arguably looks worse from how it was in the past/how you probably see it on a computer, but still I don't necessarily hate it. (The sidebar is horrendous though, lol.)
It is worth noting that the positive comments on the new design's talk page are outnumbered like 80 to 1, so you definitely have your share of concurrence.
