Lyle gave him a crooked grin as he stopped a step ahead, looking at him. "I forgot your last name since our names sound similar and wanted to call you by something else."
Offline
"All I remember about yours is that it sounded like some kind of spice. Pepperings? I think it was? I forgot."
Offline
Lyle blinked, then blinked again, as if not believing his ears. "Wow. That wasn't even close. It's Cummings, Milchez," he said with a slight 'uh huh' tone.
Offline
"Well, what can I say? Your name's weird. And yours too," he said, nodding vaguely towards Corinne. "I'm not good at names. But you're terribly mispronouncing ming."

He huffed. "Doesn't matter...I think Milchezzy suits you," he said with a teasing smirk. "Doesn't it, Cori?" He looked over to her.
Offline
Kyle scrunched up his nose in disgust.
Corinne laughed. "Well, I can't say it doesn't."
Offline
“Hehee, Milchezzy it is!”
Offline
"I wonder, how long I will be able to stand being called that without going crazy?" Kyle sighed.
Offline
Lyle just continued snickering. “Oh lighten up, dude. You’re so serious.”
Offline
"Of all the adjectives in the world, I doubt that 'serious' is the one that best describes me, ha ha."
Offline
Lyle paused before smiling. “Was that...sarcasm I heard from you? I didn’t know he was capable of that, Cori!”
Offline
Corinne was, well, she had been snickering to herself for a while already.
"Aw, come on!" Kyle protested.
Offline
Lyle was laughing his head off as he started walking again. After going a few paces, his laughter died and he turned, still continuing on. "Come on, slowpokes. Stop standing around and wasting precious time to start our mission!"
Offline
"Good, you're finally saying something relevant," Kyle proclaimed and started off. "Let's go."
Corinne followed, half-smirking.
((can we talk/plan about this please? XD))

((Lol, sure xD))

((Okie, posted on our thread))

While they walked, Lyle whistled a slight cheery tone, pulling one of his pistols out and examining it for double....quadruple check.
Offline
"You really like your guns, don't you?" Corinne asked in a rather friendly tone.
Kyle kept on walking, though he was listening.
Offline
He slightly scoffed, wiping it with his sleeve. "It's not mine," he said a bit bitterly.

"Then, is it borrowed?"
Offline
He looked over to Kyle, putting the firearm away back under his jacket. "What are the specifics to our mission?" he asked, ignoring the question to him.
Offline
She sighed and muttered something about answers and politeness.
Kyle nodded. "It's something that could be considered quite easy, since it's not complicated at all. It won't really require major skill."
Offline
His brow slightly rose. "Anything that we're not supposed to do for this one mission?"
Offline
"One of the instructions was that it's preferable to not kill," he stated casually. "Since it may be that we end up dealing with thieves that don't deserve death, according to our current employer."
"Doesn't that go against the whole idea of the 'assassin' job?"
"Meh."
Offline
Lyle stayed quiet.
Offline
"I suppose we could do that, but it's definitely harder to not kill, and-- well, you never really told us what exactly this job is about," Corinne half-complained to Kyle.
He just shrugged. "Protecting an important thing, apparently. I've no specifics on what it is, but I think we're supposed to protect it from thieves or something like that."
Offline
"Instructions seem fishy to me," Lyle noted.
Offline
"How so?" Kyle asked.
Offline
"I mean...seriously? Assassins protecting something from thieves and we don't even know what it is." He shrugged. "Just saying if anyone else else that strange."
Offline
"Assassins can be considered mercenaries in a sense," Corinne pointed out.
"True that," Kyle agreed. "Maybe they needed someone with our skill level. But anyways, even though I haven't done many 'missions' like this one, I know it's a good idea to keep the employer happy. Plus, there's a good pay for this."
