I think the vibe of the song fits well. Like, the beginning is calm but not depressing, which I think is a good display of how she's outwardly somewhat quiet without sadness or similar feelings. The transition to the middle part shows how her spirit is lively and how she's looking forward to positive experiences in her new life. Then, the last part is the most cheerful one, something that sounds like a dance, so it can be like the idea of the bright future Laurie hopes to reach one day, a future in which she's more emotionally open and feels more comfortable with the world, like the kind of future she would like to achieve not just for herself, but for others she may help too. And the very last part, the last notes, just emphasizes the fact that it's something that isn't real yet, but it could be. It ends with light, hopeful notes.
Maybe I'm thinking too much about this though xD.
Tbh the song made my mind create an animation while listening to it so I guess this means I must try to draw Laurie again xD? I have to try now xD.

You asked yesterday what we'll be doing in the Fate AU coming up, and now I'm slightly more satisfied with my response, so here it is.
Like I said, it's probably stuff related to Caster and the Meep siblings. First off is Caster stuff, which I think is entirely on you. The minimum requirements before the thread in terms of Caster would be that you at least have to know the following for him: True Name, a good description (gotta start off all the summonings with one with dapper descriptions of the Servant, y'know, but I doubt I need to worry about this because you already have his entire design probably lol), his weapons, his abilities/powers, his fighting style, and his lore (and how that correlates with all of the above). There might be more that I'm too dumb to remember.
And then for the Meeps, we primarily need to work on their magecraft. Iirc you wanted to work on their surnames, but that's on you since I can't name xD. I'd like to keep Meep in their names somehow, though. Maybe Xenia gave them the same middle name; it's something she 100% would do xD. Then I guess it's more fleshing out their backstory, and then their motives. My mind thinks we might need to work on their personalities and motives (separately or apart), and I can't say I 100% agree or disagree with it because I don't know why it's so adamant about this. Maybe it's afraid the two won't get along, lol. My mind also says maybe we can come up with NPCs/characters in general related to Sollux (likely her instead of Sunny), who might appear in-RP. Like classmates/schoolmates and close friends, I guess.

The next part is a little bit off-topic, but I was going to say that the next intro thread (Assassin's) will be pretty different from Caster's, since the development of Master and Servant are quite separate. As such, I'm inferring that the development effort will mostly lie upon setting/world development. However, notably, the Servant development requirements are still the same as Caster's, I think (as are all Servants'?), and since Assassin belongs to you still, wanted to give you a head's up, lol.
Iirc, the order is: Caster, Assassin, Rider, Lancer, Saber, Archer, and Berserker, right? Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Alright, so part 3 is just me suggesting a kinda related but still different way of developing for the AU being a possible next move.
It was something I referenced on my roleplaying thread. Essentially, I think maybe we need to do some more lore development. For instance, the thing I'm specifically thinking about rn is that we might need to map out some events that happened during the time the Heroic Spirits actually lived on Forengard. I think this might be more important to my Servants than yours, though. Or, it might be more important for one of my Servant characters than all of yours/the rest of mine. I'm not sure, but I mean, I don't think it'd hurt, right?

Okay, so, I'll I'll gather up my thoughts about Caster xD. I do have his design and most things you've mentioned, but I still have to make some of my ideas more solid lol. Especially for the lore/True Name parts. By the way, I still dunno what the catalyst could be lol oop.

I'd be perfectly fine with keeping "Meep" as the surname! I like it xD would be kinda sad to change it. I like the idea of the same middle name. Do you have something more in mind for that specific detail?
Idk I want to make it so they at least get along even if they're not like best friends or something like that xD. I don't have much in mind for motives.
Yeah I was also thinking of NPCs for something like that! Just as a general idea though, no specific NPC in mind rn. Also yesterday I had the idea of having Sollux dress in her school uniform lol (she's not much into fashion in this universe) or little variations of the uniform. Idk I think it would be interesting lol.

I think Assassin is my most developed character so far xD and even then I lack some important things. I'm fine with the dev for her and her Master depending on the setting. We'll see how it plays out.
For your third post, it definitely would not hurt to dev the lore/events. Would that mean making a kind of timeline? I'm pretty sure my characters will benefit from that hehehe. Anyways, I'm up to this! Just tell me kinda what to do Ig lol.

The catalyst should come out when his lore is developed. Again, it can be general or specific, right? It could be both. I don't think the Mage Association would store only general ones or only specific ones, though maybe specific ones would have more security.
"Magus Meep, please give an example of how ___ magecraft would be used," says the professor at the Clock Tower, resulting in a handful of snickers, even from the more stern of mages, across the room.
Nope, but the middle name would probably be some special word between her and Paymon (or to her specifically), or maybe it's the name of an ancestor if Paymon wanted more of a say in it/thinks that way, or just a pretty word as a blessing. Xenia is weird xD.

Less of a timeline than just a general but plotted idea of what went on at the time, and maybe in which order the Servants lived in, if that's important (my mind thinks it is; idk), to help with the chronological order. No particular specific times, though, just like how GGaD doesn't operate under such a system. Probably not even the vague "how many years passed between whom and whom." I think it would be "Well, I think so-and-so likely lived while blah-blah was going on, and so-and-so probably lived after that. They could've met but didn't (or maybe did). And so-and-so was born way after the aftermath of blah-blah was over." Essentially, pretending "blah-blah" is a Corrupted Deity War, like in GGaD canon--Saber would then likely have existed long before said war, so it's only historical knowledge from the Grail, while Rider and Berserker may have been fighting in it, and Archer is exclusive from that point of history and accepts it as historical reality, similar to Saber.
The Masters don't need to be excluded, either. Maybe their ancestors made it that far. That could be interesting.

Oh yeah, the first part of my response had a part that I forgot to include in the re-type. I was wondering if the Grail is as serious about people needing to have wishes, or not? I personally think that maybe Servants don't really need to (oof), but obviously the control of the Grail is in your hands.

Hmmmm, well, I think it's more likely that the idea of a wish is directed towards the Masters, but it doesn't exclude them for not having a wish? I've been thinking that Servants aren't required to have a wish, but those that do might have a greater chance of being summoned.
What do you think?

About the timeline thing, yeah I was just kinda thinking of a chronological order like you said lol I don't know if I would be able to work with a set span of years or something like that. So what you suggested is okay. And if you don't mind, I think it would be a good idea to focus on this for a couple posts? I don't know how much there's to be discussed about this so let's see.

Ah I had forgotten to ask you if we had a CD War in this world xD I was assuming there was something like it but I didn't ask. So, shall we make it canon?
Going with the war as reference then. Lancer was involved with it but lived through the events. Caster is from after the war, but not like a long long time after it. Then, I'm not really sure about Assassin. She could be from any point in time tbh, maybe even from during the war and had nothing to do with it, maybe never knew much about it or realized what it entailed.
About the Masters, I like to think that Nyoko's bloodline comes from a very long time ago. It's just a vague idea I had lol and I haven't thought about the possibility for my other Master characters.

Rune responded and confirmed that our accounts on TFSK have been deleted (along with all posts, I presume). She cited the reason for being a year or more of inactivity (as in not being on) (lol which is a bruh moment for me) and the purging of old users. Emotions on the matter aside, I think that at least this means Sollux and Sunny are siblings in all the universes of the two existing in that I know of, which is good, yay!

My mind is quite set on the catalyst having been stolen for some reasons, either by Sunny or Lux, or both of them. I guess this time I know it has reasons, but it's still weird. Of course, the possibility of someone having just given it to them is still there, but I feel the idea of no one having known that Sunny would take part in a Grail War more appealing for various reasons, because it ties in with the motives I have in mind for him, and as mentioned before, there are kinda controversies in someone having given him the catalyst because it's too unpredictable of one (for instance, compared to the Round Table shard from canon, where everyone from it, maybe excluding Gareth, is OP from what I recall).
But yes, confirmation on it/discussion from you on the above would be quite neat.

It was intended to be funny, and Sunny minds my humor (even if it's centered on him) a lot less when he's from F/DA, so I exploit the fact to the greatest extent I can xD.

Xenia has very strong opinions, I'll say that. xD Did I mention she's weird? I like her for that part of her, though.
Oh, I've always wondered if Sunny's name was a name his father made up. Did Sollux get named by her mother, then? I've headcanoned that as soon as the name "Sunshine" came up, Xenia was really excited about calling him Sunny xD. I wonder if "Lux" was also a nickname she was excited about using.

Yeah, I was also a little confused on that, but if memory serves me right, then I recall that Saber was going to be summoned in the afternoon of the 5th day. 5th day for sure. I'm just a little bit uncertain on Lancer, but Helge summoning as early as possible makes sense to me.

I don't know about the Servants' greater chance to be summoned thing, mostly due to how the lore of the Grail War means that the deities have their expectations set on the humans. So, that was why I was thinking that the Servants' wishes don't matter as long as they're compatible. But I guess...even though this sounds really ugly when I voice it out...Spirits with wishes are likely more,,, manipulable. Like, someone who cares is much more likely to fight harder and cause more (important) happenings than someone who doesn't care and just wants to get it over with. Y'know? I'm sorry, I sound kinda sinister right now. So both options exist is what I'm saying. Yayyyyy for decision-making.
As for Masters, it's kinda a similar thing, but on a stronger note. I think that maybe some people who fight in it and don't have wishes are likely more interesting (darn why do I sound like Akuma fdjsiksfdjfoi) because someone who doesn't have a wish but is fighting for a reason other than a wish is much more interesting than someone who has their eyes set on money from the Grail from the very start, if you get what I mean. So I think that Masters can have wishes or not, but maybe it doesn't matter as much and is just dependent on the judgment of the Grail.
In general, I guess wishes or not maybe doesn't matter as much in comparison to what they could do differently than everyone else who has already failed in the gods' eyes.
Maybe I'm overthinking this? Let me know.
