Francis watched Kradly leave as well. Welp, now all he had to do was his job of taking the necklace. Francis followed after them out of the ballroom and stopped in the hall, choosing a direction to search for Apollo.

"Strange man," Echo whispered. "Siblings not around."

"Hmm, would you enjoy juice or any other drinks instead?" HDK asked André.

Echo didn't react to this. Her body seemed rigid, her focus on whatever movement HDK made. Now that Phantom is looking down at her, it is more noticeable than at first glance that Echo isn't hiding because she's scared. Now it is more noticeable that Echo is like one of those hunting fish that hide in the shadows before striking their prey. Echo is preparing to attack by looking innocent. Sneaky child, but also dangerous if the man before them means no harm.

"Oh, I understand. I'm sure I have that," HDK nodded. He sort of stood there awkwardly before nodding to himself. He said, "Uh... I will finish up... then..."

Very obviously, the dude was socially awkward. He resumed what he was doing before: preparing beverages.

There's not much to do in the kitchen now.

A wild Alois has appeared! He put his hand on Echo's head, ruffling her hair. Echo seemed to relax a bit.

Alois hummed, "Oh? You don't look like a ghost." He was referring to HDK.

HDK sort of laughed, his laughter light and pretty.

"I suppose I'm not..."

HDK sounded a little confused now. Really, who wouldn't be?

Phantom jumped violently in response to Alois appearing, his entire body briefly flickering in surprise.

Alois noticed the flickering, but he wasn't about to point it out cause it's none of his business. Alois gives a grin, which in general gives off a creepy vibe because Alois doesn't give polite grins very well.

Phantom shifted uncomfortably under Alois's gaze. "I'm, uh, gonna go check on what the other guys are doing," he said.

Then he walked right through the wall.

Echo's eyes went wide from watching Phantom make such a leave. She slowly started to connect dots together.

Phantom would probably see Lumi and Alma in the hallway, talking.

Alois didn't react to Phantom's walking-through-the-wall moment. Instead, he smiled, "Oh? I suppose that's good. If he was an evil ghost we would have a problem, wouldn't we?"

HDK felt a bit unnerved from Alois' expression. What was all this talk about ghosts... Oh.

"Pardon, but are you all, uh, searching for ghosts?" HDK asked.

"Hey guys!" Phantom called over to Lumi and Alma. He was currently leaning out of the wall and waving at them as one would wave from a window or a door.

"Yeah, we're looking for ghosts!" André confirmed with an emphatic nod. "This place is old and big and abandoned, so ghosts probably live here."

Lumi and Alma looked over. Lumi didn't realize Phantom was leaning out of the wall and waved while Alma did a double take.

"Hi!" Lumi smiled.

HDK stood there for a moment, trying to figure out how to react.

Out of purely not wanting to disappoint the child, HDK said after a good thought, "Well, I guess I have seen a few strange things that are... uh, ghosty."

Phantom stepped out of the wall completely and walked over to them, putting his hands in his pockets. He was still transparent. "What'cha up to?"

Well ok then Kradly is somewhere else in the mansion, but he'll probably be going back to the group soon.

"Really?" André exclaimed. "What kind of strange things?? You have to tell the others too!"

Alma's still loading, equations flying around him. He opened his mouth, about to say something, but then closed it in thought. Alma then grinned and didn't point Phantom out for his little wall trick.

Lumi smiled, "We're lookin' for ghosts! Still haven't found any." This boi is oblivious, and it definitely shows.

"Oh, well," HDK awkwardly clasped his hands together. "I guess more specifically... I have heard a random... 'ghosty' voice. It seems to giggle a lot too. As well, random objects have flown around and moved around, stuff like that..."

Adrik stayed hidden in the walls, listening to HDK explain away. He held back laughter, ready to commit to his role as a ghost.
